We did the tour of Murchison Falls National park as a group. Brian and the team were knowledgeable and hospitable throughout the trip and ooked out for everyone. Enjoyed the morning game drive and the kitchen staff prepared ballistic meals. Loved the duck and rabbit. The camping site was well situated near the Nile banks. Highly recommend Tafari safaris

So happy we booked with Tanzania Choice Safaris -- Brenda and Kakasii are amazing!
5/5

My husband, our two teens and I have been talking about visiting Tanzania since before the pandemic. I wasn't sure the trip would ever happen -- I wasn't sure where to start with the planning. I called one tour operator, but I felt like she didn't really understand our budget or what we were looking for. Then my husband and I spoke to Brenda at Tanzania Choice Safaris.

We immediately clicked with Brenda, and she put together a travel package that laid out everything -- ground transportation from Nairobi; three different national parks for safari; then transportation to Zanzibar. Plus lodging and guides for the entire trip. And it was all within our budget!

Brenda's husband, Kakasii, was our safari guide for the first half of our trip. We could not have asked for a more enthusiastic, experienced or professional guide. Kakasii's love for safari is contagious; it was his mission to get show us as many amazing animals as possible -- and he delivered. We saw the "big five" (lions, water buffalo, leopards, elephants and the elusive rhinos), but also giraffes, zebra, cheetahs, lion cubs, hyenas, crocodiles, gazelles, impalas, monkeys, baboons plus a giant pool of cranky hippos. Throughout it all, Kakasii entertained us with stories about growing up in Tanzania and about his adventures as a safari guide. Before our trip, I had wondered if six days were too many days to go on safari, but the answer was a definite no! We were so sad when our time with Kakasii on safari ended.

The second part of our trip was in Zanzibar, and Brenda also arranged that for us. Once again, we were so happy with the two hotels that Brenda had booked for us , and with Cholo, the local guide who Brenda connected us with. Some highlights of the Zanzibar trip were the walking tour of Stone Town, swimming with dolphins and just relaxing on the beach and eating seafood. It was a perfect way to wind up our two weeks in Tanzania.

Throughout the entire trip, I kept saying how happy I was to have connected with Tanzania Choice Safaris. Brenda and Kakasii are consummate professionals who also happen to be really lovely people. (We were able to have lunch with them the day after we arrived in town.) I appreciate that they travel with their own kids, and so they have first-hand experience with what teens and younger kids like. The lodges Brenda booked for us were, without exception, wonderful. And, mid-trip, when we wanted to add a visit to Oldupai Gorge (a paleoanthropological site), that was not a problem at all. Overall, I cannot recommend Tanzania Choice highly enough!

I highly recommend Tafari Safaris as the best tour company. They will work with you as regards your budget and give you the best experience. They arranged our traveling plans including the beautiful Nile Breeze Bamboo Lodge where stayed while in Safari. The delicious food and hospitality was beyond imaginable. Brian is an amazing tour guide. He took us Murchison fall’s National park and we saw the most beautiful Animals like elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes etc. The boat cruise on the falls including the breathtaking top of the falls is wow!! Brian explained in detail everything you need to know about the Nile river. We got to see many crocodiles, birds etc. We are already planning our next trip and ofcourse through Tafari Safaris. Thank you for planning the best trip ever!!!!

Cheap and cheerful with a golden heart. Highly recommended

Have been planning this trip for years and decided it was time to make it a reality. Three of us set off on a three day safari with these guys and I can say it was well worth it. The lodge and the hotel we stayed at needed a bit of TLC (particularly the bathrooms) but in every other way, the whole trip was incredible. The driver/guide was great, our chef was talented and kept us well fed and between us, we spotted all of the big five in a single day. If you're looking for a no-frills safari for a competative price, these guys are well worth looking at

Highly capable and extremely helpful with everything. It was a true pleasure.

The Kilimanjaro tour was so special, in so many ways. Our tour operator helped with preparation, extra day tours before the climb, a trip to the supermarket for Gluten free food, and more. Everything was on time and as promised. They served coffee to you in your tent in the morning!!! And brought hot water to wash both morning and night. Bathroom facilities were excellent (portapotty, no smells), the food was great and the people were amazing. Guides were so helpful and informative and the porters were tireless. The team would sing and dance in the morning: such a joyful start for the day and outlook on life. I try recommend it. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Easy Travel was excellent to work with and and our safari was outstanding.
5/5

Everyone at Easy Travel created a wonderful lifetime experience for me and my husband. Kabwe, was very detailed and organized while helping us plan our adventure. When we arrived her briefing about our trip details and safety was on point. Our lodging was very comfortable and the food was delicious. I loved talking with the other travelers and camp hosts during the evening. Our guide, Aniny was the best. He was kind, full of knowledge, professional and a joy to be with. I will always cherish my time spent with him watching and learning about all of the animals and parks in Tanzania. As I begin to plan other travel around the world I have come to really value the cost of the safari through Easy Travel and the experience I had. I will return to the beautiful county of Tanzania and with out hesitation ask Kabwe at Easy Tavel to help me plan the adventure.

5 days, 4 nights Safari- Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru National Park, Maasai Mara
9 Friends

Our journey began when Musa and Evans, our guides, picked us up at the airport. They were punctual, and we were promptly escorted to the office from the airport. We settled the remaining payment, albeit with a delay caused by a credit card transfer issue. Eventually, we had to withdraw cash from ATMs in Nairobi, and it was nearly 11 a.m. by the time the payment was completed.

Initially, our itinerary included a visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and a late arrival at Lake Nakuru. However, due to the late start and the considerable travel time to Ol Pejeta, we opted to modify the plan. Instead, we visited Lake Naivasha on Day 1 and arrived at Lake Nakuru by late evening, a change we agreed to.

Couple of things to note here, in the itinerary, the hotels mentioned were changed citing upgradation, complaints etc the moment after the payment was done. We were in the office from 7 am to 10pm and we were told about these changes only after the whole payment has been done. We were disappointed about this as we expected these changes to be informed before hand.

Then the drivers were called and the MD had told the whole itinerary in front of them so that everyone is on same page (continue reading)

Day 1 was amazing, Lake Naivasha boat ride is worth the visit. Simply put, it's a curtain raiser to what is coming ahead. Got a chance to see Giraffes, Zebras, Water bucks, Hippos very closely. We were taken to hotel close to Lake Nakuru. The hotel was amazing. 3 Triple rooms. Great food, good accommodation and everything went well.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru early in the morning. Flamingoes, Rhinos from far, few Giraffes, bunch of Baboons, few Zebras, African buffaloes. Overall 3/5 given the great experience the previous day at Lake Naivasha. Started from Nakuru late in the afternoon and had a brief stop at Narok to shop snacks. Reached Hotel Mara Ndovu by late evening. 3 triple rooms, 2 rooms close to each other and one far off. In one room, there was no power supply and no hot water in 2 rooms. After complaining repeatedly, they were given another room the next day.
Day 3: Since there was running hot water in only one room, everyone had to take bath in only washroom
"The Washrooms are bad, bad, bad"- No latches, no hot water, only few power sockets working. The food was bad, very bad.
On one day, we made to wait for more than 2 hours for dinner.

Coming to Safari, the best day in the whole safari, Maasai Mara is amazing, one should visit Masai Mara to appreciate it's beauty. No photo can translate its beauty. 5 minutes into the Safari, spotted a Cheetah. A pride of 15 lions was spotted by afternoon. Giraffes, Zebras have become very a common sightings by evening. Went to the Great Migration spot, sadly, the migration was not happening. Clicked photos at Tanzania border

Day 4: Again the struggles with taking bath continued and we are used to it by now. Game drive in Maasai Mara, this day was bit disappointing as it didn't match the previous day's experience. Didn't spot animals until afternoon. Spotted a few lions and a cheetah by evening. We asked the guides to return after 2pm to Nairobi the next day to which they disagreed. We tried contacting the office and they have become irresponsive by this time, no proper response was given. The guides wanted to start before 11am the next day( as opposed to what was discussed on the first day)

Day 5: The closing day: Started early in the morning to Masai Mara. Spotted a few lions and other animals in few hours and returned from Masai Mara to Nairobi.

Made necessary arrangements for packed food.
Special mention to Guides- Musa and Evans, very knowledgeable and have done everything possible to help us and make our experience memorable
Overall, our safari experience was good, although there were understandable hiccups along the way
