Professional, meticulous and caring
5/5

An unforgettable, incredible trip with Lion King. Very professional and kind service is provided from the beginning of the inquiry, to the final docking of the itinerary, till the beginning of the journey and the end. We were provided with plenty of drinks, including beer and wine, and plenty of paper towels and wipes during Safari. Our guide and driver Richie was very professional and we collected the big 5 on our first day at Tarangire NP. We saw so many memorable moments and received amazing photos during the whole Safari. The whole trip is particularly much time on the road, almost all massage road. The Lion King Safari car was well maintained, we had no trouble breaking down on the way, and our guide Richie delivered us safely and smoothly with excellent driving skills. He will also provide professional explanation on the way to find the animal, and answer all questions. I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

An amazing 6 days in the Serengeti and NgoroNgoro
5/5

We can't help but express our gratitude for the awesome adventure curated by Easy Travel & Tours through a 6-day safari. Voice brought logistical excellence, guiding us patiently as we weighed our options, eventually crafting a custom itinerary that had us exceeded our wildest dreams of what a Serengeti (both North and Central) and the NgoroNgoro Crater safari could be. Each camp we stayed in, thanks to her suggestions, welcomed us warmly along with our fantastic guide Simone, offering cozy beds and fantastic staff. As vegetarians, sometimes travel food options are can be a challenge or an afterthought. That wasn’t the case on this trip! Each camp worked to make sure that regardless of dietary restrictions, we were well fed with delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Simone, our guide, was the star of the show! His knowledge and passion for Tanzania’s wildlife and the incredible variety of habitats we visited was amazing. His sharp eye was on point, spotting Lions, leopards, cheetahs, antelope and gazelles, elephants, zebras, baboons, vervet monkeys, and Tanzania’s national animal, the stately giraffe.

Simone was not just a guide; he was great companion as we explored the parks, sharing fun and insightful stories about our respective cultures throughout the week. He added that extra sparkle to our trip, and we’re already chatting about when we can make it back for another adventure with Easy Travel and of course, Simone, with more of our family.

We picked Easy Travel initially because we wanted to support a locally based and owned outfit in Tanzania. Turns out, it was a great choice and we totally recommend them for anyone looking to experience a safari.

Responsive and personalised.
5/5

From the start Justin was very responsive to our queries and helped craft a bespoke itinerary that fitted our needs and budget.

We were met in Dar by Patrick our guide for the duration. Going on a private tour, he made us feel at ease from the moment he picked us up. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and the relationships between the parks and the communities, and was prepared to go off the beaten track to take us away from it all and give us a unique and personal experience. It was a pleasure to spend the safari with him and he made what was the start of our honeymoon very special.

We very much forward to future tours with Shammah Wonders Safari!

Kosen provides incredible service and sponsors programs to support the community
5/5

Bottom line up front: the best trip EVER. That is a bold statement because I have been to over 50 countries (including 8 African countries). The accommodations, the people, the country, our guide and the animals defied all expectations.

To start with Kosen (the owner of the tour company) arranged the trip to be exactly what we asked for. No detail was spared. It was our 30th anniversary and there was a special touch at every stop. More importantly, they sponsor schools in the bush to make sure the kids get a chance for education. They have recued young girls and built dormatories so they can get an education and autonomy. Furthermore, they sponsor soccer teams in the slums of Nairobi for impoverished urban kids and create academic support and tutoring programs to help lift them out of poverty. If you book with Kosen, you make a difference and have oppotunities to directly give back to the warm and wonderful Kenyan people.

I will go into detail.....the most important point is above.

Robert, our guide was with us the entire time. He picked us up at the airport and was with us until he dropped us back at the airport. Just the 3 of us the entire time.He is incredibly knowlegable about the history, tribes, culture geography and of course he knew everything about the animals. He has an uncanny sense of where to go away from the crowds to find the best stuff that the others miss. He emphasises patience and knows where to wait for the animals while others are rushing around. there wasn't a question or a topic he could not explain in depth.

We started out at the Ermara Ole Sereni hotel with a balcony overlooking the Nairobi National Park. We saw giraffes and ostriches from our balcony. We spent a day in Nairobi visiting the national museum (Robert set us up with a docent from the museam for a personal tour). It was amazing to learn about the tribes, culture and history of Kenya. The exhibit on the origins of man is stunning. We also went to the Rothschilds giraffe breeding center and the elephant/rhine orphanage.

The next day we drove to Lake Elmenteita over the 9800 foot escarpment the borders the Rift Valley. The Serena Camp was 5 star all the way. Our tent looked out over the lake and the flamingos. You wake up to Impala and zebras right outside. We rode horses on the lake and then into herds of Water Buck and Zebras.....a once in a lifetime bucket list experience. The next morning we drove to Lake Nakuru where we ate breakfast surrounded by white rhino. We saw too many kinds of animals to recount here to include black rhinos and rare Rothschilds giraffes. Back at camp we were pampered to the extreme.

The next day we drove to the Maasai Mara national park. On the way we stopped by a school they sponsor in the bush. Kosen had arranged for us to donate desks for the school because not all students had a place to sit. We also brought school supplies and soccer balls. It was incredible to meet the headmaster, teachers and students. Our next stop was a visit to Kosen's mother on the farm where he was raised. Then we proceded to the Mara.

We stayed at the Keekorok lodge in the park. There is no fence, so the animals are right there. the first night there were hippos grazing behind our room. the next morning there were impala on the lawn and elephants walking by. At night there were lions roaring out side our back porch and we woke up to Vervet monkey hanging from the trees by our front door. The lodge is little old (it was the first lodge inside the Mara built in the 1960's) but you come for the nature not the house. The employees were sweet and friendly. By the way, because there is no fence, at night they escort you to and from your cabin for safety. The hippo bar was fun and we met some great people there.

Twice each day Robert took us on game drives but also took the time to show us the different areas and ecosystems in the park. He knows the park as well as I know my back yard. We saw more animals and birds than I can list here. This includes 4 different prides of lions, a herd of mother elehants and their babies, a lioness with her baby cubs, a cheetah with her babies and family groups of Maasai giraffes. The highlight was watching 2 huge herds of Wildebeests and zebras crosssing the Sand River to complete the final phase of the Great Migration. We actually found the Sand River pride right after a crossing and they had just taken down a zebra that was crossing.

When we finally bid farewell to the Mara, we drove back across the Rift Valley to Nairobi. Kosen had booked a day room back at the Emara Ole Sereni overlooking the Nairobi National park so we did not need to hang out at the airport. Robert picked us up in the evening and took us back to the airport. It was a litle sad because we were now saying goodbye to a close friend.

The trip was as close to perfect as it could get. If you are going to go to Kenya (and you definitely should) book it with Kosen. It will be a highlight of your life and you get the chance to change the lives of others.

Excellent 3 Day/2 Nights Serengenti+Ngorongoro Safari
5/5

I booked the 3D/2N Serengenti+Ngorongoro Camping Safari as a group tour and had a great time with our guide Michael and our Chef Kevin. The food was great, the camping facilities and the Safari as well. We had more than enough time to look out for animals in the National Park and the Crater and it is an absolutely amazing feeling to spend the night in the Park or near the Crater with a fantastic sunrise. I can recommend the tour 100%. If I had more time, the Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park would be on my list as well.
I look forward to do the other National Parks on my next visit with Sky View Adventure as well.

Had a 12-day dream vacation in Namibia, exploring Etosha's wildlife, nature hikes in Damarland, Swakopmund's Sandwich Harbour Bay adventures, and witnessing Sossusvlei's iconic dunes. The hot air balloon ride over the desert was surreal! Planning and booking with Viatu was a breeze, making every moment stress-free and immensely enjoyable!

Memories of a Lifetime with Mega Wild Safaris
5/5

We had an incredible 15-day adventure with Mega Wild Safaris, exploring the captivating landscapes and wildlife of East Africa. From start to finish, this journey exceeded our expectations in every way.

Anne, the tour coordinator, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. She was not only responsive but also genuinely attentive to our preferences and budget. Anne worked tirelessly to create an itinerary that fulfilled our dream safari while staying within our budget.

In Uganda, our guide James quickly became more than just a guide; he became a dear friend. His deep knowledge of the region, combined with his fun personality, made our 9 days in Uganda unforgettable. James introduced us to local people, took us to vibrant markets, and shared incredible insights about the wildlife. We were amazed by how unbelievably close we were able to witness the lions, elephants, buffalos and other animals, thanks to James' expertise in finding the best animal viewing spots. He ensured our comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip.

The gorilla and chimpanzee tracking were truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences, leaving us in awe of Uganda’s natural wonders.

Another enjoyable part of our journey was the community tour in Kibale, where we engaged with the locals, learned how to make banana gin, danced, made coffee, and wove baskets. This experience brought us closer to the people of Uganda.

In Tanzania, our guide was truly fantastic, with a passion for his job that shone through. He always made sure we were in the best spot to take the perfect photo and shared fascinating stories about the wildlife. We explored Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, witnessing the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration and even seeing the thrilling Mara River crossing. We saw all the animals we hoped to, including the elusive leopard, serval, and tree-climbing lions.

We had the time of our lives with Mega Wild Safaris, and we genuinely recommend them to anyone seeking an unforgettable African safari experience. If you're still unsure which tour operator to choose, you won't regret selecting Mega Wild Safaris. They go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfectly arranged for an exceptional adventure.

Thank you, Mega Wild Safaris, for making our dream safari a reality!

Moroka Expeditions has an attentive and knowledgeable team that were a joy to travel with.
5/5

We thoroughly enjoyed our safari with Moroka Expeditions. Each staff member was very kind, attentive, and a clear expert at leading a safari experience. The Moroko team were great drivers, were knowledgeable about the flora and fauna we encountered, and thoughtfully crafted a beautiful experience for our group. In addition to transportation and sight-seeing, they arranged accommodations, meals, and time to relax at a really nice pool. Abraham was wonderfully responsive and clear in his communications about the trip! From our email correspondence setting things up to keeping our group on schedule throughout our travels - we couldn't have asked for a better leader. We can't wait to travel again with Moroka Expeditions!
