cool safari with the company
The tour was full of unforgettable experience. I really enjoyed the tour with Jastro. The guide was well trained and knowledgeable to take us through and the experience was fantastic. Truly wonderful day. Thank you Victor and Jared for the arrangements of our safari in such a nice way, good vehicle and nice hotels.

Incredible
Alpine Chat Adventure is one of the best in business. The overall Tanzania trip was awesome and very well planned. Will opt this tour company for all my future African Trips.

Consisten Communication
Abdullah was great to deal with. We had multiple conversations via WhatsApp prior to my departure for Tanzania and once I landed.
I find it a bit hard to leave a review because I know from talking to the others in our safari vehicle we all came from 3 different tour companies so I cant say if you will get the same driver, vehicle or cook. However, our driver Jonas (Yonas) and the vehicle he had at the time were amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his desire and ability to make sure we had front row seats at all the best sightings and his care and attention to our enjoyment. It was a magical trip, one I would do again. Ngorongoro was probably my favorite, though the Serengeti was also mind blowing.
The 'rustic' camps were fun and fit well with my desire to be camping rather than in a lodge. The food was great, nothing fancy but always tasted good. Get used to variations of Rice, Chicken and Vegetables.
My only real complaint was the amount of time I spent and number of texts back and forth with Godwin, the contact in Arusha. It really frustrated me. I had arranged with Abdullah for a pickup in Arusha that I was told was "perfectly fine", however over the course of nearly a day I had dozens of text messages with Godwin claiming it was not an easy pickup location and I should find my own way to a pickup point. ie Pay my own money and find my way via taxi / tuk tuk to a location in a city I have no knowledge of, instead of them finding me in a city they knew. It wasn't until I had my hotel call Godwin in person that we finally convinced him to pick me up. After that, everything was good.

5 -day trekking: an unforgettable experience with an incredible team!
The organization of this trek was made in 2 days following a last -minute reservation. The downside in this journey was the rather indifferent welcome of our guide Daniel at the hotel, of a great lack of communication, especially at the beginning. We followed him without saying anything: waiting for an hour in a Matatu, Waiting for almost 2 hours in a restaurant in Nanyuki. We were told that there were things to buy for the trek. We didn't know what was really going on. All of a sudden, we end up with lots of people and a lot of stock in the Matatu. Several stops on the way. I was afraid of coming from darkness. It was only made to the Gates of Mount Kenya that one could finally speak with Daniel. I told him at that time my wish he is talking to us and explains things. The presentation of the team was done and the pressure began to decrease.
To our surprise, we were welcomed and treated like king: small checkered napes, coffee, tea or hot chocolate with small cookies. Daniel brings me to show me the location of the brand new. The surprise is that there was no sleeping bag. He said he had asked us the question at the office and we replied that we had them what was completely false. But he did everything to get us, for an additional blow of $ 10.00 /day supposedly that it was not included, which was also false. When we had wifi, it was clearly written.
The rest of the team was extraordinary! Patrick was an extraordinary and so kind cook. Our meals were so good! Our Anthony carrier is a person posed, respectful and available, capable of answering our questions. It could easily go to the guide stadium. Our carriers: Douglas, Chris and John we do a whole job and we are grateful! Thanks guys !
Thank you Daniel for having the ability to organize this adventure and for guided us with Anthony on the trails of Mont Kenya.

Superstar Lana!
Lana was helpful and understanding. I was organising a family safari to South Africa and was trying to coordinate it with several family members who kept changing their mind! Frustrating for me however Lana kept me calm and came up with a great itinerary to suit everyone. Every aspect including hotels, safari lodging, internal flights and transfers were well organised and I didn’t have to do anything which helped the entire holiday. Thank you Lana - I’m very grateful.

The Tour went very smoothly and excellently
Our Safari experience was really good. By the end of the trip we got to see around 20 different kinds of animals and their activities. 1. The guide we got was excellent a. He patiently explained us so many informations about animals and their day to day activities, also he made sure we see all the activities of the animals including hunting. He also made sure we're comfortable with food, places and people.
2. Apart from Safari the stay was excellent. We loved the accomodations. Receptionists, Managers were very friendly.
3. Food was good in some places, in few places or was average.

Excellent. A Lifetime experience. I will recommend this company to all my friends!!
Our tour was 6 Days Camping Safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park, plus an additional Nairobi city tour for 2 days at an extra cost. The communication all along was smooth and precise. The company offered us many suggestions and alternatives and helped us to customize our Itinerary perfectly to our choice.
We were a group of 8 people and arrived at the Nairobi airport at different times. Our pickup was arranged properly without any concerns.
We were received by our captain/driver and tour guide David at the airport and right from the beginning he made us feel safe and comfortable. We had opted for a 4x4 Land cruiser, which was just the right fit, but the boot space in the Jeep is limited so its better to carry soft bags instead for large suitcases.
The 2 days Nairobi city tour was good and gave us some extra time to lose the jet lag and catch some good city vibes. Recommendation from Nairobi - the Giraffe center, Nairobi National park and the carnivore restaurant.
The trip to Masai Mara National park was great. We were able to see the Lion, Cheetah and Leopord all in the first 2 days. In Lake Nakuru we saw the Rhinos. In Amboseli we saw Lions and Elephants.
The Lodges - AA Mara Lodge in Masai Mara was good. The rooms were big and clean. Limited but good options at Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Only issue was the shower which was very slow and we had to waste the water for 10 mins before we got some hot water.
Sentrim Elementa Lodge was awesome. The rooms were big and clean. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this lodge to everyone visiting the Lake Nakuru area.
AA Amboseli Lodge was okayish. The rooms or tents make a lot of Noise during high winds. The shower was very slow. The food was bad. If possible look for a better lodge only in Amboseli.
The Masai Village visit was not worthy of our time or money. Lake Naivasha Boat safari + Nature walk is a good deal. We enjoyed it.
Thank you David for showing us Kenya in your own way. We will cherish this trip forever.

Going above and beyond
I booked a 5 day Safari from Nairobi to Massai Mara - Nakuru - Lake Naivasha and it was fantastic. I was in contact with the office the entire time leading up to the Safari and they were great about responding promptly to any issues I had.
And our guide, Castro…wow. I can’t say enough about this guy. Our entire group agreed that he was the reason why we had such an amazing trip. He’s like an inexhaustible source of positive energy. While other guides I saw around were just going through the motions, Castro had the energy of going the extra mile to find the rare Animals to show us and he was the best drive I guess. We never got stuck or had any trouble and he even helped out other drivers in need.
He was well organized and we were every morning one of the first visitors to arrive at the entry point that was very cool.
So we were super lucky to have him on this tour. I’ll definitely do this Safari again with this operator.
At the end of the tour my partner forgot a bag of souvenirs in the bus, we just realised after our flight to Mombasa that something was missing. But when I let the Office know that we will be back in a week in Nairobi they were so kind to bring it to our hotel without extra charge. So this was an extra extra great experience so Castro and OFFICCETEAM a special thanks for that.
