Excellent all around service!!!
Our safari was amazing from start to finish. From start I mean my very first message to Migration I got Amos and he was more than helpful. I am a big planner when I do trips so I had A LOT of questions. Communication was fast simple and easy!! Amos was very patient with me and went above in beyond in answering every question I had. My husband and I were staying in Dar es Salaam so we had to catch a flight to get to our safari. Amos gave me option of taking us via bus or flight to Arusha/Kilimanjaro. He recommended airlines to book for the flight as well as hotels to stay at if we could not get a flight to coordinate with our safari times. Deposit and final payments were all very easy and the price was what was listed no hidden fees. Pick up from the airport was very smooth. Our flight arrived early so I was nervous but our ride was early as well. There was someone waiting outside the airport with a sign with my name on it and the number of people in my party, so we knew exactly who to go with. Our driver GodLove was excellent. The drive to the first park took a few hours but we felt comfortable the whole ride. On the way to the park he gave us some info about the towns and different passing landmarks. He asked what we wanted to see/experience while in the parks and then told us to keep low expectation. This was the best advice ever and changed the whole out look of the experience!!!! While inside the park he let us use his binoculars and took pictures for us through his binoculars so we could get better pictures on our phone. He also did a good job of maneuvering the truck so we could get good angles and views of different animals. He had a great eye for spotting things that we couldn’t see!!!! The accommodations at Octagon Lodge were great. Everyone there was very friendly and the food was amazing!!! THIS TOUR WAS WORTH THE MONEY AND THEN SOME!!!!!!
A few suggestions I have to someone looking to book is be patient. I understand you may have certain animals you want to see but you have to realize that these are wild animals in a huge park. Your tour guide cannot control where the animals are and they cannot make them appear. Express what you want to see and I am sure if the opportunity is available your tour guide will do their best to try to help you experience it. TAKE A SNACK WITH YOU!!! You don’t want to be in the middle of the action or on a hunt for an animal and then have to leave because you are hungry. There was a time when I wanted to ask when was lunch during our game and I am glad I didn’t because right at that moment we found a lion and right after that a cheetah but had I asked for us to go to lunch we would have missed all of that. Bring a professional camera and good binoculars if you have some. Be respectful of the animals. You are entering their homes so don’t bother them. Just be respectful and watch and observe you don’t have to yell at them and bother them to try to get their attention. You wouldn’t want someone coming to your home and doing that to you so give them the same respect.
All and all this was a great experience and I cannot wait to come back with the rest of our family

They are simply the best operator
We really enjoyed our Amboseli Day tour. We enjoyed the early morning and late afternoon drives and especially the sunrise and sunset .At the Amboseli ,we Spotted herd of elephants, many giraffes, Zebras , Hyenas Buffalo ,Warthog and Antelopes. We were not lucky with Lions or Cheetahs..Safari Car was clean and comfortable and both Breakfast and lunch in the lodges was great. Our driver guide Moses was great and gave a lot of facts about animals ,culture and landscapes . An Overall awesome safari experience, all in a Day!

A perfectly run safari, fun and low-stress
Mazingira brought us on one of the most amazing experiences of our lives! Before even arriving in Tanzania, Johari was in constant communication, adjusting our schedule to fit our requests and clearly communicating what was needed as far as payment.
Johari and our guide David picked us up at the Kilimanjaro Airport and handled everything for us from then onwards. The game drives were amazing, with David pointing out animals we may have missed and explaining various facts about them. One thing I especially appreciated - while some other groups would take their pictures and leave, David knew when it was worth it to park and patiently watch the animals. This led to us seeing some very cool behaviors.
The lodges and tented camps we stayed at were excellent. Mazingira had coordinated everything perfectly, and even communicated that we were on our honeymoon. We had some lovely surprises from the lodges (champaign, cakes, flowers) as a result. It was really a great touch.
The tour was worth every penny and more! Thank you!

Excellent Tour Operator
Just finished a 3 night 2 day Safari with the best tour guide I’ve ever been with. Peter is excellent, very knowledgeable about everything, and knows all the best spots. Masai Mara was beautiful and we saw Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalo, and many more just to name a few. This is my 3rd Safari and it is very rare to see all of these in one or 2 days. Peter found them all! He is very trustworthy and safe and you will have a great time. I will be back. Thanks Peter!!

Amazing 2 night, 3 day safari
Our trip was absolutely incredible! This is my 4th time to Kenya and 2nd time with Peter and Longclaw Expeditions. I won’t ever use anyone else again! Peter is so knowledgeable and professional. From the time he picked us up, we were taken care of and every need supplied. The pricing is also very fair. During our game drives, Peter always seemed to know where to go. We saw Cheetah’s eating after a fresh kill, elephants, hippos, crocs, giraffe, multiple lion sightings - several as close as 5 feet away from our vehicle (lions choice, not ours, haha). We saw multiple leopards and probably every animal Masai Mara has to offer. If you’re looking for a great safari, there is no need to look beyond Peter and Longclaw Expeditions.

Best Safari Ever! Thank you Mufasa!
I have done a lot of safari in my life and this one was from far the best!
First of all the organization by Mufasa team especially Joe was amazing! From the first email to meeting us before departure in the hotel to make sure we were still happy with the planning etc we felt super comfortable.
The one week safari was the best ever, honestly. Colin our guide was just amazing, funny, caring and really knowledgeable about animals, nature, areas and communities. Thanks to him, since he went far and beyond so we could see the big 5 we did even at least twice each! We even saw a kill and lions honeymooners!
The camps were all outstanding: location, facilities and staff. Waking up in a tent front of giraffes and elephants is priceless.
We definitely recommend Mufasa tours and pick Colin as a guide, i promise you, you won’t be disappointed. We miss him already!

Great safari with lappet faced safari
We did an 8 day safari with lappet faced safari that was excellent. We went to 5 national parks where we saw an amazing array of wildlife including about 10 lions, 5 cheetahs, a leopard, thousands of gazelles, antelope, zebras, wildebeest, 100s of elephants and hippos, lots of giraffes and countless birds. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and would stop whenever we asked him to but we really didn't need to ask as he was in constant contact with other guides in the area and would shoot off to wherever the wildlife was.The places we stayed varied quite a bit but that was dependent on what we decided. You can really spend whatever you want as you decide your level of stay.I highly recommend lappet faced safari as they were very responsive at every level
