We just successfully reach the summit of Africa yesterday with Gosheni safaris and 15 members of an amazing team lead by Omary our main guide to reach the summit. Omary is an highly skilled guide that reached the summit for the 363 times yesterday. We felt that he truely care for our safety, he was knowledgeable about everything related to the mountain and Tanzania, he is also a devoted father of 2 and pretty much the father of most porter and lot of guide with less experience on the mountain. He truely love his job. Sam,our assistant guide on the trip was also an important part of our success with his contagious energy and help at all time. Sam is in fact a licence guide so we felt lucky to have 2 amazing guides with us. Our cook Thom was also great listening to comment about the food and adapting to our sometime modified taste because of altitude gain. We add the chance to have Kassim with us that played a central role in our confort. He was listening to us and provided anything possible to make our summit possible. He event climbed to the summit with us as a third member of the team to reach the top with us. Kassim is 24, the world belong to this amazing men and we are happy he keeps studying at the guiding school. Gosheni was more high end then other agency. For exemple, in all our acclimatisation hike, Kassim for carrying a table with 2 chairs and food and beverage. We felt vip and customer from other agency eating a basic snack on a rock look at us with envy. We had the perfect time reaching the summit but more important then the summit we reached, we add the chance to get in contact with 15 individuals that made this adventure memorable. My husband and I just returned from an amazing 2-week honeymoon that was expertly planned and carried out by Sheengai Pride Safaris. We had the most incredible experience exploring northern & central Serengeti as well as the Ngorongoro crater region of Tanzania where we witnessed the very best of Mother Nature! I mean, we saw everything from elephants, to zebras, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, and so so many lions! I wish I could upload more photos, but the ones I chose from the trip speak for themselves! The sightings on every safari were simply outstanding, and the magic is that if we waited patiently, wonderful things would unfold.
Aside from the sightings, we were paired with the most incredible and kind guide, Joshua. He not only knew I was an avid wildlife photographer, but he helped angle the (incredibly spacious and comfy) safari vehicle to maximize the best lighting and composition for my photos! Joshua is extremely knowledgeable with over 24 yrs of experience, and my husband felt so fortunate to have met him and spent so many days together on safari! He literally knew all the roads like the back of his hand. Simply amazing!!
Sheengai Pride Safaris offered us a boutique-level of service and helped coordinate all of our hotel, transport, activities, food, etc. for our honeymoon. Augustino was so helpful throughout our 10-month planning process, and treated us like VIPs during our time in Tanzania - he was there to pick us up, answer any questions, and was there at the end of our trip to make sure we arrived at the airport on time. I highly recommend this company for all of your East Africa travel plans (it was our first time to the region!), especially for those combining safari in Serengeti with a beach trip to Zanzibar. Thank you, we will never forget our time together, and can’t wait to return!!

A reliable and flexible company
We made a safari with Smile for 8 days.
We visited three NP, Nyerere, Mikuni , Ruaha. The company is very flexible and adjusted the program to our wishes.
They do what they offer and communication with Jacob Moshi is good. It is a reliable company and that is important.
In Nyerere park we had Mr Deo as driver/guide. We had an open car which is excellent. Mr Deo is enthousiastic and an expert.
For the other two parks we had Mr Saloum as driver-guide. He has a lot of experience in the parks.
In Zanzibar Smile is represented by Mr Nurdin. Excellent services.
Overall , good and reliable company.

Great trip
We had the best time visiting Amboseli, Nakuru and the Masai Mara with our guide Daniel! Daniel knew the best places to spot the big five and many more animals. He always made sure that we could take great pictures. Our highlight of the trip was the Masai Mara where we saw many lions, cheetahs and leopards. Thank you Daniel and Africa Starpal for our amazing trip in Kenya!

A truly fantastic team who and executed a dream holiday itinerary for our family .
From the outset Rose was hugely responsive and helpful to us as we started to think about a family trip to Africa. The suggestions she came up with were well tailored for our family needs (malaria free area, kid friendly but still luxurious, active yet relaxing etc). She presented the ideas is an easy to use format and quickly answered all our questions as we toyed with different ideas. It was novel to have such a stress free holiday planning process (I usually spend hundreds of ours doing the logistics myself- car seats, baby cots, safe transfers etc). What I hadn’t appreciated until we actually got on holiday was quite how perfect the itinerary was- the hotels were uber luxurious, each quite unique and varied yet ideal for our family, the transfers were slick (especially being met off the plane and whisked through the airport without any queues - SO needed after 24 hours on planes with three little children) and most of all the recommended destinations were so varied and each so beautiful and special in their own way. We saw so much more of S Africa than we had expected / would have seen had we planned the trip ourselves. We had some (fairly major!) changes after booking (the arrival of a new baby and the need to change dates and then travel with a 7 month old) and Rose dealt with it all seamlessly- even making sure there were homemade baby purées available at the hotels. The travel App was great, we used it during the trip and also before (love the countdown- that made us very excited for the holiday). We don’t typically use agents for travel but for such a special trip I am so glad we did and I am now a convert to using a travel company for our big family holidays.

There are 100's of operators to choose from. How do you choose? Our choice was fairly easy as it started before we left the states. Almachius Audax was the coordinator. We really chose due to his responsiveness and flexibility. This lasted from before we booked, after we booked and upon our return. Nice job!
Once we started, our guide, Douglass, was brilliant. We were very naive, and he provided a great overall education. As a guide, he was able to maneuver to great locations and vantage points. You could not ask for a better guide. The days were very full. We got up at 5:50 am and wrapped up with dinner around 7 pm. Exhausting and rewarding.
We are fairly picky eaters. Our cook, Sarehe, tailored the meals and every meal was fantastic. This was icing on the cake.
We went to multiple parks. All were exciting and all were different. It was amazing how plentiful and how healthy all the animals were.
You cannot go wrong if you go with Meru Slopes.
