Fantastic, superior customer service
5/5

We have just returned from a trip to Zanzibar and used "Smile with us Tours" for a 3 day 2 nights Safari in the Nyerere national reserve.
From our first contact with Jacob it was so easy to work out what we wanted to do, agree an itinerary and get it all booked up.
1st class communication from end to end.
We paid a deposit and then the balanced on the day of our trip.
Every single part of the trip went as planned, top class service all the way, initial collection at our hotel, transfer to the airport for the short 30 min flight from Zanzibar airport to the reserve on the mainland, collected by our guide for the trip Mr Marufu (Mr Famous.) We had a safari jeep to ourselves.
Mr Marufu was a fantastic guide, loads of information about the flora and fauna and of course all the animals.
We set off from the landing strip and as we had an early start to catch the flight we headed to a camp near by for breakfast, a very nice surprise and an extremley good breakfast.
After that we headed into the reserve for our first game drive - exciting times! animals everywhere, water buffalo, giraffe, zebra, impala, warthogs .... the list goes on and on
We chose to stay at the Selous Impala tented lodge, we were not disappointed with our choice, a fantastic lodge 5* service and facilities
Day 1 was a game drive till lunch time, rest in the afternoon at the lodge and an evening / dusk game drive then back to camp for dinner
Day 2 game drive all day, lunch out on the drive sat overlooking a lake watching the animals and life go by - an amazing experience
Day 3 walking drive in the bush and a river trip followed by a rest up at another lodge outside the reserve ahead of our flight back to Zanzibar.

We cannot thank Jacob and Smile with us tours for arranging a fantastic memorable trip!

A once in a lifetime experience
5/5

We have done a three day safari with John - our awesome guide and driver. We were extremely lucky to see all big 5 and sooo many other animals. Especially the Ngorongoro crater was an experience of a lifetime - truely amazing place to visit. Our cook took great care about our stomachs. In the mornings we could see beautiful sunrises above the lake Manyara. Everything was very well organised - from airport pickup to the accomodations during the safari (budget - in traditional igloos) and after that (hotel in Arusha). Sometimes you must be Hakuna matata but the overall experience was great.
If we come back again for another safari trip, we will choose Crater again for sure.

My tour guide showed me great hospitality and had excellent knowledge about the animals and birds.
5/5

I returned home from my 8 Day Safari with Image Travel.
It was an Excellent and Unique experience!

I believe the key to the success and enjoyment of this safari rests in a large part with Jason, my guide and driver.
He showed me great hospitality. His knowledge of the animals and birds added a lot of information to each sighting. Additionally, he shared a lot of information with me regarding Kenyan culture and some history. Jason knows about the agriculture of Kenya which gave us the opportunity while driving to both observe and discuss some of the farming practices. At the end of each day, Jason and I would go over the plan and times for the next day's events. He was always open to my suggestions as we made our schedule.

I greatly appreciate the information that Jason provided and would like to note that he is a very safe driver. Most importantly, I thank him for his hospitality as I mentioned above. He represents Image Travel in a professional manner.

I do not have Jason's email address so I ask that you forward my comments to him.

Lodging: Check-in at each location was very efficient and fast. The reception people knew my name as I stepped up to the reception desk. Clearly there was some good coordination ahead to let them know that I was arriving at that time.
All locations had excellent lodging. The beds were comfortable, hot showers, clean rooms and every location provided me with and impressive view.

Meals: The meals at each location were buffet style. There was a large selection of ethnic dishes and the food was prepared well. In addition to the main dishes, there were an abundant choices of vegetable dishes along with several dessert selections.

Animal and Birds: I took several hundred pictures during the safari. Now I can enjoy them and share them with friends. Jason helped to spot the animals and would stop at any time that I wanted to take pictures. We would stay at a sighting until I told him that I was ready to move. I had the opportunity to see adult animals with their young ones in some cases. We also saw the aftermath of kills the lions made during the night hours. It was amazing to see the other animals and birds patiently wait at a distance until the lion(s) finished eating and then they attacked the remains.

In summary, I recommend Image Travel and would encourage the private safari inorder to get the best experience.
Jason, I thank you for 8 enjoyable joys.

Brilliant Safari Trip Organization in Kenya - Masai Mara!
5/5

As a passionate nature lover and adventurer, I recently had the privilege to travel to Kenya and explore the enchanting Masai Mara reserve. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience provided by Rocktrek Safaris.

Prior to the trip, their communication was outstanding. Mr. Silas, with his kindness and professionalism, ensured I felt completely safe and welcome. With his exceptional support, the organization of the entire journey was flawless.

The adventure itself in Masai Mara is something I will cherish forever. From incredible safari drives to unforgettable encounters with wildlife, every moment was filled with excitement and admiration. The quality of the vehicles and guides was exceptional, enhancing the overall experience.

I highly recommend Rocktrek Safaris to anyone dreaming of a safari adventure in Kenya. This review serves as my most sincere recommendation for this outstanding company. Thank you for the unforgettable experience, Rocktrek Safaris and Mr. Silas!

a trustworthy operator
5/5

I've traveled to more than 40 countries so far, but this Serengeti tour in Tanzania was the most fun experience, and the Serengeti Luxury Safari made me a happy experience.

When I booked a safari tour in my country in advance, I trusted that email response was very fast and accurate. And the day before departure to Serengeti in Arusha, Noel explained the tour schedule in datail for me very kindly and slowly so that I can understand very well. Also he contacted me via WhatsApp throughout the 4days tour and asked me how the tour was. I traveled alone but thanks to Noel I could join the other group so that I made unforgettable memories with the friends I met through the safari tour. I want to say thank him again for his help.

All accomodations were nice and safe, foods were good.
If you are wondering which company to make a reservation with, I highly recommend booking with Serengeti Luxury Safaris. I guarantee you will never regret it.

Good
4/5

The experience overall was good.
We made a tour in Kenya and Tanzania. The first part of the tour was with Alexander in a van. The tour guide was not that good as his English sometime wasn’t really clear. More over I don’t advise you to choose the van, as the roads are not suitable for this type of car.
The second part of the tour was with Bashir in a 4X4 and this was amazing. He was a great driver and guide.

An Unforgettable Trip!
5/5

I want to start off by saying KASC is not offering any incentive to post positive reviews, this is our unbiased opinion.
For our honeymoon, my Wife and I did a 5 day/4 night safari through Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club. We arrived in Arusha and visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara. Every step of the process, from the logistics and communication, to the actual safari itself, our Guide, Gasper, the lodging, the professionalism, was all above and beyond what we were expecting. I’ll break down the highlights below by category but overall, I would not hesitate to recommend KASC to anyone looking to take on a Tanzanian safari.

Booking and Communication:
We took our time when deciding which company to go with but ultimately decided on KASC, mostly because of our budget and what they could offer at our price point. They were very helpful through the booking process and it was very easy to make all the payments online. They were very quick to respond to all of our questions, especially considering the time difference. We actually asked our guide about this during the safari and he said they have people in the office that stay up to answer emails during the US workday. My Wife is pescatarian and we were slightly worried that her food options would be limited while we were staying at lodges or camps. KASC assured us this wouldn’t be an issue at all and they were right. I think we would have been fine even if we didn’t say anything about her diet, as all lodges had ample vegetarian options. Either way, it was clear that KASC had notified every lodge in advance because they all had a record of it and made sure she had plenty of options. KASC also moved us to a newer and nicer tented lodge in the Serengeti just a few weeks before our safari at no additional cost.

Guide:
Your safari guide is a huge part of your experience. You’re spending 12+ hours a day with someone in a car and are completely dependent on them for just about everything during the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Gasper. He was, of course, very knowledgeable of the parks, animals, plants, and landscapes. He was also happy to teach us more about Tanzanian/Swahili culture. He was very adept at figuring out what we were most interested in seeing, even if we didn’t specifically tell him. As other reviews have mentioned, he does a great job at tailoring the experience to what you are wanting to get from it.
Besides being great at his job, Gasper was great to hang out with for the 5 days we were with him. He kept us surprised and entertained throughout the whole trip and by the end we were thinking of him more as a friend than a guide.

Accommodations:
Another highlight for us was the lodges/camps throughout the trip. Each stop was wonderful, from the staff, to the food, to the rooms. All of the lodges had buffet style breakfast and dinners and none of the food disappointed. We came well prepared with medicine in case we had any stomach issues but never even had to break them out. We were pretty careful about the water at all the locations as they all advised us to not drink the tap water. All the lodges were good about providing bottled water for consumption so it was never a big issue. The lodges also provided great picnic style lunches for us each day that we could have in the park. Most of our lunches were curries with rice or pasta, kept warm in an insulated picnic box.

This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and KASC and Gasper were a huge part of that. We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Tanzania.
