Unforgettable Safari & Zanzibar Experience with Serengeti Smiles
5/5

We booked a 10-day safari and Zanzibar tour with Serengeti Smiles covering Tarangire, Serengeti (Central and North), the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Zanzibar.

From the very beginning, Jeremiah, our tour consultant, was incredibly helpful in building the itinerary—responsive, supportive, and attentive to our needs throughout the planning and the trip itself.

On safari, our guide tried hard for us to find the animals we hoped to see. We were fortunate to spot the Big Five (except rhinos), multiple cheetahs, and so many other incredible wildlife moments. A highlight was our hot air balloon experience with Miracle Experience, which was absolutely unforgettable.

In Zanzibar, we stayed two nights in Matemwe, a beautiful and tranquil area near Mnemba Island. Thanks to Serengeti Smiles, we discovered this gem, where we enjoyed snorkeling, a dolphin tour, and relaxing on quiet, pristine beaches.

The accommodations were excellent, transport was well-coordinated, and everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to simply enjoy our journey stress-free.

For anyone visiting Tanzania for the first time, we wholeheartedly recommend booking with Serengeti Smiles.

Perfect in every way!
5/5

My experience with Full Package Adventures could not have been better, the service has been outstanding. I first contacted them in October 2024 with a vague idea of the safari experience myself and my wife were looking for and Juventus turned the dream into reality by tailoring every detail to our exact requirements. We originally intended to travel in July and wanted to witness the great migration crossing the Mara river. Juventus advised that September would give us a better chance of seeing this natural wonder. He called it exactly right and we managed to see a herd of 250 wildebeest crossing the river....an unbelievable experience. From the moment we walked out of the airport everything ran absolutely perfectly. We were picked up at our hotel in Arusha at 8:30 the next morning by Gilbert who would be our guide and constant companion for the next 6 days. Gilbert, as it turns out, is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. His knowledge of the wildlife and when and where to see it, is excellent and we had some quite incredible encounters including a cheetah with 4 cubs, prides of lions, a couple of leopards as well as literally thousands of elephants, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest and so much more. Just as important was his knowledge of the local people and their culture, we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the various tribes and the Maasai in particular. The accommodation selected for us (which I think was classed as mid level) was superb. The Signature Luxury Serengeti Lodge in particular, was stunning. So a huge thank you Full Package and especially to Juventus and Gilbert, you turned our dream into a wonderful and unforgettable holiday of a lifetime. One thing to note and plainly not a criticism of Full Package but this type of safari involves a lot of travelling on poorly maintained roads and, whilst this just added to the enjoyment for us, anybody that suffers from a back condition might want to think carefully. One final thought, this was our first visit to Tanzania and we were blown away by how lovely the Tanzanian people are, they are genuinely some of the nicest people we have come across anywhere in the world. We hope to come back and see you soon.

Professional
5/5

I travelled with Makisala Safaris this September and visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Serengeti. Everything was so well-organized from start to finish; our guide met us on time every day and handled every detail, so all we had to do was enjoy the parks.

Tarangire impressed me with its huge herds of elephants, Lake Manyara was full of birdlife and those famous tree-climbing lions, and then the Serengeti was simply breathtaking with endless plains and incredible wildlife sightings. The accommodations were comfortable and perfectly chosen, and our driver-guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience fun.

I highly recommend Makisala Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania, they made my journey smooth, exciting and truly unforgettable.

Splendid Vacations always recommended, absolutely amazing experience
5/5

Hi,
We just visited Kenya and Tanzania last month, under the guidance of Splendid Vacations, from New Jersey, United States.
The trip went through, as promised, thanks a ton to Rachael, our tour coordinator, you did amazing job.
All our guides who drove us for 10 days were amazing too. Very significantly Joseph, covered, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara and dropped us off to Tanzania. He was very knowledgeable and helpful even to other rides sometimes.
The 2nd guide was George, amazing young man and very patiently showed us all of Tanzania, Serengeti and Ngorongoro areas, and Lake Manyara, before dropping off back to Kenya. Also helped us with shopping at nice Indian place, where we bought Tanzanide.
Our 3rd guide was very knowledgeable as well, and patiently showed us Amboseli National park and Mt Kilimanjaro.
Overall, the hotels were nice and we loved our trip. Some wonderful hotel examples are Enkorok Mara camp, Sopa lodge, Mara Serena( we only stayed at Masai, but it has more locations at al parks), Seronera lodge, Olituku, Oilepo lodge etc
I definitely recommend Splendid and will look forward for future trips.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience: 5-day safari in Tsavo East+West plus Amboseli
5/5

We (2 persons) have started to plan our safari only a few weeks before departure and luckily detected safaribookings.com; received offers that matched the indicated fix dates and rough ideas.
All offers really sounded good and reasonable and we received them very quickly.
We went on with the offer by Bienvenido tours and did not regret. The communication went well, we were picked up on time, our tour guide Michael spared no effort to give us the best possible experience in terms of game sights.
A really nice trip!
If there is anything I would suggest to improve, it would be: enable a higher partial amount to be paid by credit card in advance (instead of cash).
Guide Michael is to be recommended!

Martin and his team organize unforgettable, personalized trips in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
5/5

Big thanks to Martin and his team! We had an incredible time in Tanzania and Zanzibar. He helped us plan the trip, made suggestions and managed to include all our wishes. We felt welcomed and safe at all times and always got quick answers in case we had any questions. The safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and lake Manyara exceeded our expectations by far. We can definitely recommend Martin and his team and will come back soon!

Very well organized and I felt very well taken care of
5/5

Everything from the initial communication with Sandra, the communication before the tour and during the tour , until the pick up by the guide Gerald and the experience and activities by Gerald was very well executed. This is a really good company which really makes you feel that you are a very important person and they do everything to make the experience the best for you.

Very good
4/5

I had a wonderful experience from the outset with a meet and greet at the airports and a wildlife relevant book;the guide was brilliant; the food was mostly very good;
The accommodation was excellent but I would have preferred slight upgrade on the Serengeti tent.
Overall highly recommended
I would easily travel again with Explore plus

Bless Africa is an experienced Tanzanian firm with top-class crew!
5/5

We climbed Kilimanjaro with Bless Africa and are 100% glad we went with this experienced, professional Tanzanian firm. Owner Gody was once a guide and his wife was the first female guide on Kilimanjaro. Although two other climbers postponed their trip at the last minute for family reasons, Bless Africa took just us two, with a crew of 11. Everything ran smoothly and we felt safe and well-tended the whole time. The guides were outstanding, the food was amazing, one of the team dashed to get good camp spots each day, and our private toilet was included in the price. Talking of price, it was notably lower than international companies, even after our hearts wouldn’t let us tip less 30%. The trip was enjoyable beyond our wildest dreams!
