O ur six-day safari exploring Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli was an absolute dream come true, and it wouldn’t have been the same without our incredible tour guide and driver, Jeff. We had the most unforgettable adventure.
Jeff’s knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture was truly impressive. He effortlessly shared fascinating facts and stories about the animals we encountered, making every moment on the safari educational and engaging.
Not only was Jeff an exceptional guide and amazing driver but he also had an great ability to spot wildlife from a distance. It seemed like he had a sixth sense for finding the most elusive creatures, and we were fortunate enough to witness some truly remarkable sightings.
Jeff’s driving skills were equally commendable. Navigating through rugged terrains and challenging road conditions, he ensured our safety and comfort throughout the journey. His expertise behind the wheel allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes, without a single worry.

Great destinations, a lot of waiting with little communication
The tour got us where we wanted to go, there were several times where we were asked to wait, tour guide disappeared for long periods of time without providing us information as to what we could do in this time (for example explore) accommodation had been changed and we only discovered this upon arrival at the accommodation. Despite booking a triple share tour this had not been prepared at each location. The vehicle itself left a fair bit to be desired and let us down. There were frustrations which we discussed with the tour guide as they arose. We seen what we set out to see so for that we are grateful. However I don’t believe we really got value for money given the time wasted and missed opportunities as a result. I wouldn’t be opposed to booking with Karumuna again however I would require clearer confirmation on what we should expect.

Adventures and authentic tour
We had a great time as family (age 30-64) and the organization was good. Simon answers all your questions upfront and during the trip. We booked our flights to Victoria falls and everything else was taken care of. You pay online upfront. Simon did the pick up by himself and also drove us to the Safari in Hwange. We had a lot of fun! We did a full day safari tour to see as much animals as we can see. At vic falls we booked some additional activities like a helicopter flight, which I can definitely recommend (but yes cost extra money). I would recommend to go during the dry season, as you see the vic fall’s diversity!
We felt very safe all the time with Simon or the tour guides he organized at the different locations. We made memories for our lifetime and would do it again.

Have recently returned from our week-long safari, I have nothing but the highest praises for the entire Beast Spoor Safaris experience. Working with Linda to plan our trip was a comfortable and confidence inducing effort. I had been to Kenya 31 years earlier and was excited to take family members back to experience the grandeur of Kenya for themselves. Based on my prior experience, I had specific things I wanted to accomplish. Linda helped structure the trip so it was efficient and covered the areas I was most interested in visiting, and book accommodations that were in line with our budget, style and expectations. She was knowledgeable and responded to all my inquiries and changes very promptly and with great customer service.
Based on my prior visit, many (31) years ago, I knew the importance of working with a reputable tour company, especially one that had “in field” support from the head office and other vehicles in the parks. After doing my research, Beast Spoor Safaris seemed to fit the criteria.
We were picked from the airport and safely driven to our hotel and picked up the following morning right on time, taken to the office and thoroughly briefed.
Our tour started and from start to finish, we were all smiles enjoying every bit of our safari.
There were no inconveniences, no disappointments and I have to admit, I did feel proud for recommending Beast spoor safaris.
Peter was a very knowledgeable guide and found us EVERYTHING we wanted to see on our game list. He was flexible to fit in special requests we had and was resourceful to help accommodate some off the beaten path requests, like a custom fishing trip, stop at a Maasai school, a second trip to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi to let us feed the giraffes (again), and a special dinner in Nairobi on our return.

Amazing Diver/Guide and Landcruiser from Bobby Tours
My friends and I had the pleasure of an African Safari holiday organised by SHOOR AFRICA. The Tanzanian part of our holiday has Ali KIMBOI as our driver and guide from BOBBY TOURS. He made the holiday most social for us with his immense knowledge of the land and the variety of Flora and Fauna and History.
We would be soon coming back just to Tanzania for another Safari with for sure Ali as our guide.
Being a car enthusiast I have to say the Landcruiser we had from BOBBY TOURS for 5 days was the most comfortable and capable. Surprising , as all Landcruiser on safari look the same. We realised this after we switched vehicles in the Kenya border for the Kenyan part of our holiday .
The ride comfort of the BOBBY TRAVELS car was super special. I know being the owner of a similar car back home.
