Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

From the moment I started working with Diane at Discover Africa I knew I was going to have an amazing trip. She listened to what I wanted to do, what type accommodations I really wanted, and the feeling of security I needed to go on my first solo adventure. And everything was perfect just as she had promised!! I really wanted to do Glamping and I stayed at the most amazing place, MCH Tented Luxury Camp in Garonga. It was beyond my wildest dreams! Such beautiful accommodations, such luxury, and the staff was beyond amazing. The safaris were out of this world and we saw so many beautiful animals. I could not have asked for a better intro in a safari. My next camp was at Timbavati at Kambaku Lodge and it also had fabulous accommodations! The thatched roof pod was so luxurious and fit for a queen!! The guides and trackers were amazing and we found the big 5 quickly. We saw amazing things I never actually believed I would get to see. A mom lioness with her 3 cubs, a leopard with her kill, a pride of 23 lions, elephants galore including precious babies! I even was lucky enough to see a baby elephant nursing!!! As a labor and delivery nurse for 15 years little things like this truly make my day. We saw both black and white rhinos, numerous hippos, a cheetah, giraffes, wildebeests, hyenas, and even wild dogs! I could not have asked for anything more. I believe the reason my safaris turned out so good was the perfect planning by Diane from Discover Africa. I cannot recommend them enough. Truly an awesome company with employees who care. My next trip I wont hesitate to contact Diane and set her to work on another wonderful vacation.

Once in a lifetime experience!!
5/5

We had a 4 day safari trip through tarangire, serengeti and ngorogoro. We also visited a masaii village and olduvai gorge. The trip started perfectly with a visit to the arusha art gallery, a place I really wanted to see, and which our guide John helped us see! Then the trip went towards tarangire! An absolutely beautiful place! We saw, among other things, lions, zebras, elephants and giraffes, as well as much more! We came close to elephant herds, lions eating and zebras running together in herds! An absolutely incredible experience! After tarangire we slept at a lovely lodge near the ngorogoro entrance. The next day we headed towards the Serengeti, but stopped by the Masaii and Olduvai Museum. Incredible experience! In the Serengeti we got to see all kinds of animals up close! Our guide John was an expert at seeing animals from long distances! Which was absolutely incredible because he managed to find so many incredible animals and showed them to us! An unforgettable day! That day we slept in a lovely place, simply glamping! Early the next day, the game drive continued in the Serengeti. All I can say is wow! Our guide John was so incredibly good at finding animals and getting close to them! We saw lions, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas and many other incredible animals! We got to see almost all the big five in just 1 day! The day ended at a lovely lodge! On the last day we got up early to go to ngorogoro! There the hope was to see a rhinoceros! In no time our guide found a sleeping rhinoceros, wow! It was absolutely incredible! But he didn't just find one but two rhinos in a short time! An absolutely incredible experience to stand and look at the rhinoceros! Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Every single day we saw new animals that we hadn't seen the day before! John was an incredibly good guide who made our safari trip something we will never forget! Many thanks to Serengeti smiles who gave us such an incredibly good trip! Albert, who was our contact person, helped us very well to get the trip we wanted! Absolutely incredible company that really is good in their job!

Amazing
5/5

I did a safari last July, I organized with Paul: he was very helpful! I spent 2 nights in a camping and 3 days in total. It was all inclusive: accomodation, meals, tour guide, Jeep to go from Nairobi and come back. I had an amazing experience, I totally reccomend it!

Amazing Safari! We did a Safari with Paul and his staff, 5 days in Masai Mara. It was a wonderful experience, that gave us the opportunity to see all the Big Five thanks to the ability of our guide! Paul is very gentle and professional. I recommend it very much for a unique experience.

Seamless and lovely adventures
5/5

From the day I booked to the day we left everything was so easy. Simon was incredibly responsive with any questions I had before arrival which put some of the anxiety of the trip planning at ease. We had a few very small hiccups but Simon was always responsive and available to resolve anything.

The night we showed up we checked in and he has already arranged a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambei which was absolutely fantastic. The next morning he has arranged a tour of Victoria Falls and after we sat down so we could  pick and arrange any remaining activities for our stay. We stayed 3 nights in Hwange and did many games drives which was amazing.

I had booked an extra 2 nights myself at a completely seperate location in Victoria falls and Simon graciously booked us a Chobe day trip and a trip to devils pool from there and still made sure we had a ride to the airport.

The weather was incredibly hot (37 C / 100 F) but would 100% go through them again!

Magical
5/5

Tailormade Africa organised our honeymoon in November 2022 - visiting Botswana for Safari, Cape Town and Zanzibar. We had a truly magical experience, which was down to the seamless communications with Rob - understanding the type of trip we wanted. It removed any stress from organising ourselves, knowing the tours, transport and hotels booked were perfect!

An amazing, well run experience!
5/5

Even for a "budget" tour, everything was well organized and high value. The tents were already set up at each camp site with comfortable sleeping pads and tasty, fresh, and homemade food was served for every meal. You will see even more animals than what you hope for and be struck by the natural beauty on this unforgettable experience!

Good, we got what we booked. Just another lodge then is on the website but they are all good and nic
4/5

We had beautifull hot weather and saw a lot of animals. We really liked the combination boat safari and driving. We skipped the walking safari on our choice because we were to warm. They really looked for the animals in the park and took the time to let us see them.
Driving time from dar es salaam was 7 hours, that was a minor because the website said 4-5 hours. Our guide was an intern but was very nice. Sometimes a little diffucicult communicating in Englisch. Worth the money.
