Amazing Safari. Excellent Service!
5/5

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Murtaza (the Owner) and Jolis (Our Guide) of Bobby Camping Safaris! (Don't let the name confused u, they do all types of Safaris packages and not JUST camping!!)

I'm sure I'm not an easy client to deal with, I have children and I need everything well organised and close to perfect atleast!

I contacted Murtaza from UK, explained our needs and I have to say I'm very impressed with the level of service we received! Above all..I wanted to stay in Sopa Lodges both in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, the other tour companies I got a quotes from could not secure us rooms in these lodges, but Murtaza did! This meant alot to me!

I was concerned about the quality of the vehicle we would have as I know from previous experiences, vehicles do break down on rough roads and vehicle quality does vary from company to company! Murtaza again did not disappoint me. Our vehicle did not let us down and was allround in good condition!

I cannot praise Jolis, our driver and tour guide, enough!! The man is a STAR with impeccable time keeping (he does not work on "Tanzanian time" ie where lateness is the norm! ) He was knowledgeable, patient, very friendly, enthusiastic, confident, funny and above all an excellent driver who spoke good English! We came across some tricky roads and the guy manoeuvred his vehicle SO impressively!

What also impressed us so much was that Jolis was prepared to take us to places off the normal drive circuit, where it would have just been very easy to follow the crowd of vehicles and we would have been non the wiser! He took us to isolated places where we had private audience with some amazing animals. I'm also convinced that Jolis has eyes in the back of his head! He spotted animals in the most trickiest of places! I can't thank him enough for looking after us so well!!

Jolis wanted us to see the big 5 and he did not stop driving on those tricky roads until we eventually saw them! He clearly takes his role very very seriously! It felt like he got alot of pleasure in seeing us happy and providing the BEST service!

We were very touched and impressed that both Murtaza and Jolis turned up to meet us the day before our trip. Murtaza wanted to meet us personally and introduce Jolis to us. This to us said that Murtaza cares deeply about providing the best and personal service to his clients! Meeting them both then put my mind at complete rest!

If u want a worry free, trustworthy service then I highly recommend BOBBY CAMPING SAFARIS!!! With them you are NOT just a number, you are more of a friend then a customer!!

If u need to know anything else about our experience, please do not hesitate to ask. I'm more than happy to talk to anyone about our experience with Bobby Camping Safaris!

THANK YOU MURTAZA AND JOLIS! You will always be our first choice for a safari experience in Tanzania! ️

7 day Safari for couple + daughter. Johnson was terrific
5/5

We visited 3 sites:
Masai Mara (3 nights)
Lake Naivasha (1 night)
and Amboseli National Park game reserve (2 nights).
Johnson was our driver and guide. He has an incredible talent for spotting animals from far away with the naked eye, and is very experienced at figuring out where predators are by watching the actions of the prey animals (gazelles, buffalo, antelopes) .
Elias, in the Leadwood office was very helpful and responsive in helping us plan the trip, and accommodating our unusual pick-up location.
We saw all the big game animals including gazelles, various antelope, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes elephants, warthogs, wildebeests, and baboons in the Masai Mara. Predators we saw: Lions, Leopard, Cheetah, Hyenas, and a Jackal.
Also Hippos and a variety of birds at Lake Naivasha. Even more elephants and baboons were present at Amboselli, and we also spotted a rare Serval Cat, which
our camera captured in mid-leap.
The accomodations were also very nice, especially the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

"An Exquisite Experience, and Great Customer Service"
5/5

A perfectly executed trip, Uganda is so amazing, its people and wildlife, the dramatic sights are just incredible. Its a destination to look out for, for an African vacation. The launch cruise along the gleaming waters of the Victoria Nile to see the bottom of Murchison Falls was stunning!!! And it is a perfect way to enjoy an African safari with wildlife spotted at the banks taking water, the wildlife seen at the other side of the park on a game drive is impressive as well as the falls at the top with thunderous sound was an experience to remember. Murchison Falls is a perfect place for tour in Uganda, great customer care by the team at ATW and the guide was kind. Would love to explore more on my upcoming vacation.

Trip Of A Lifetime
5/5

This trip has been on my bucket list for many years and it did not disappoint. It's hard to explain the beauty and grandeur of this trip. I thought we would be seeing the animals with binoculars and never once thought we would be pulling up right beside lions and every other type of African animal you can imagine. The proximity to the animals was breathtaking and yet I never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Our tour guide Cornell was simply the best! This trip had it all, not only did we do a safari, we also visited historic Stonetown and then had a relaxing beach getaway on the island of Zanzibar. A big thank you to Justin Wollin (Wild Mind Travel) for setting everything up and tailoring this experience to be everything I could have ever asked for.

Fantastic 3-day Safari to Amboseli and Tsavo West
5/5

It was very easy to communicate with KingTomondo and customize our safari as we wanted.
Our driver picked us up in the early morning in our Nairobi hotel and we went to Amboseli NP. We have seen there hundreds of elevants, many antilopes, lions, cheetahs and many others. Our driver Alfa was very nice and he told us about every animal we have seen. And of course there was a beautiful view to Kilimanjaro, we were lucky because there were no clouds. After Amboseli we went to Tsavo West NP. Like our driver Alfa said that every national park in Kenya is different. And it was true. Tsavo West was totally different from Amboseli. Lots of bushes and trees, many hills. Both parks are very beautiful on its own way. In our last day we had a 'game drive' in the morning and after that we went to our hotel on Diani beach.
Thank you very much KingTomondo for this experience and lifetime memories!
Highly recommend safari with KingTomondo.

When people make the differevce
5/5

For some time constraints me and my friends chose a 4-day tour that brought us also to visit the Blyde river canyon. The choice fell on this proposal from Red Africa Safaris becasue they seemed to have put together a very interesting itinerary with some expereicens, like the cruise on the dam I had not seen anywhere alse on Safari Bookings. As we were a little pressed for time I had to request to slightly tailor the tour to our needs and Amelia was super helpful and patient answering my thousand of quetions, offering advice and putting up with our changes of mind. Booking and paying process through their website was very easy.
We could not start as early as their usual turs on the first day, so had to skip the lunch stop but a lunch box was arranged and waiting for us in the car. This was greatly appreciated.
Our driver/guide, Jaco was super, he knew million of things about animals and nature in general, we definitely learned more from him than anyone else. He was also very good at introducing us to South Africa in general answering any question we had. He was also able to suggest the best way to enjoy a place and point out the really unmissable things. He was very thoughtful and made sure we had no problems and all was nice and easy for us. And his cooking was not bad at all! I really enjoyed his bbq dinners.
Accommodations arranged for us were beautiful and comfortale even if we did not go for anything in the luxury category. I really appreciated that they work with a place such as Moholohoolo Ya matit hat is working for conservation.
The itinerary was great even if I was not exactly impressed by Bryce River canyon, notable exception Burke's Luck Potholes; that place is just beautiful. Getting to see the canyon from below during a boat trip on the dam was great and added another dimension to the experience and you get to see hippos wich is a great plus. We spent 2 nights in Kruger, did an evening bush walk, 2 morning drives and an evening one and were extremely lucky, managed to see all of the big 5 plus dozens of other animals including some birds of the most astonishing colours.

The whole safari was very well planned and we were extremely happy the service of Red Africa Safari and feel very lucky to have had Jaco with us, he was a big part on the success of out trip ( give the guy a pay rise!!!)

3 Days Joined Group Safari Ngorongoro,Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park
4/5

Ok, I'm with wife was on 3-day safari with this company and it was really good safari with professional guide and "standard" car for safari. Also we visited Materuni excursion and I can definitely recommend this place to visit.
In general I can recommend this company, they really responsible and trying to do they best to provide good service.

What was good:
- Professional guide, so we were able o see a lot of animals.
- Good accommodation for 2 night of safari.
- Free airport pick-up and drop-off.

What should be improved:
- We had only 3-4 hours per each day on safari but company promised "6 hour game drive in the park".
- Accommodation before and after safari should be improved. The first room was really dirty. And there are were no shower/electricity time to time for days after safari.

Excellent tour to Lake Mburo with Wamba Gorilla Tours
5/5

With great pleasure we look back on the trip we made in Uganda with Wamba Gorilla Tours. In a few days, the owner of Wamba Gorilla Tours, Immanuel Wamba, showed us a beautiful part of Uganda. From the capital Kampala we traveled to the south of Uganda where we visited Lake Mburo, a relatively unknown but beautiful NP of Uganda. Immanuel found a beautiful Lodge (Hyena Hill Lodge) for us near the entrance to the park. He personally took us on safari through the animal-rich and beautiful park, we could not have wished for more than this. We are very satisfied with the service that Wamba Gorilla Tours has offered us, our wishes have been taken into account in everything. Moreover, Immanuel is a pleasant and extremely reliable driver, he is very flexible in his supervision of the trip and, above all, also pleasant company. We are also very satisfied about the price-quality ratio. We can absolutely recommend Wamba Gorilla Tours to anyone who is considering traveling and / or going on a safari in Uganda. We will gladly make use of the services of this company again for the next trip.

Extremely efficient and knowledgeable
5/5

Firstly we were very impressed by the communication. Newton replied immediately to my emails.
We were very impressed with them altogether .They arrived on time at our hotel to pick us up and gave a comprehensive briefing and we were introduced to our driver/guide. We were with him (Steve) for the next 4 days.
As a guide he was great. He persuaded us to wait a while when we could see a leopard behind a bush, and sure enough it was worth the wait, as she emerged clearly, walked down into a ravine and jumped up the other side. We had 3 separate sightings of the very illusive leopard.
We had sightings of elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, we saw everything but the Rhino.
We even saw part of the migration when a long column of Wildebeests ran by. We didn't see them going across the river, but understood we were too late in the season. Steve recommended we come back in August.
The camp was excellent, especially the restaurant where the food was superb. I am extremely hard to please, and was able to eat every meal. Excellent chef, and the chap in charge was excellent too, I've forgotten his name. I was disappointed the pool was not available.
The only downside was the journey to and from Nairobi over the unmade roads, very bumpy and tiring. I felt sorry for the driver having to negotiate such awful terrain for so long.
