Exciting and Memorable!
5/5

Dauda is an excellent tour guide. We were a group of 4 and went on a 6 day/5 night tour around Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo in August 2020. Before the trip, he was very communicative, extremely well organized, courteous and professional. He did an excellent job at booking our accommodation and creating a schedule that fit our needs. The vehicle is spacious, comfortable, and Dadua is a safe driver.

On the tour, he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, and went above and beyond to share his knowledge. Thanks to him, we saw amazing lions, buffalo, giraffe, elephants, and a variety of bird and mammal life. Also given the global pandemic, he also did a great job of taking precautions and ensuring we were safe and healthy the entire trip.

I would highly recommend traveling with Dauda for a stress-free, fun, and memorable experience for Safari in Uganda!

Amazing Experience, Wonderful Company
5/5

Fantastic company!! We are in our early 30’s and decided to go on a private, 2-person safari in late August 2020 in Northern Tanzania. We decided to go with Duma after contacting about 15 different recommended companies from Lonely Planet. We went with Duma as they were the easiest/fastest to communicate with (Stacy), had the best price, had unlimited miles/gas & water, pays their employees fair wages, and showed professionalism.

What we experience was beyond our expectations. We went with a camping 10-day safari where we saw over 5 national parks including the Serengeti. Everything was well planned and organized from the time we booked to picked up from the airport to dropping us off at the end of the trip. The food was great, we were always well taken care of and informed. During camping, we were able to be close to the animals while always feeling safe under the stars.

If we had gone on a safari during the high season, I would have preferred lodges as you would not have to wait for showers or camp in close proximity with other campers. However, low season camping was the perfect option for us.

Guide (Isack):

We had the best guide, Isack. He takes great pride in his work, loves and respects nature, cares about his clients, and was always very professional and funny. He has amazing eyesight, fantastic ability to track animals, and an incredible amount of information to share about the ecosystem, history, and every animal you see. He respects the animals and the park which is not always the case with guides. We absolutely loved spending 10-days with Isack. He has loads of information to share, but also allows you to experience the sounds of nature. We were able to see absolutely everything we imagined and more. You can tell he’s quite experienced as he navigates the vast Serengeti off memory.

We were able to see all of the below but not limited to:

Rhino (Just one but they are very hard to spot)
Giraffes
Lions (male, female, cubs), including a hunt & mating
Elephants
Water Buffalo
Wildebeests (including watching 2 river crossings)
Cheetahs
Leopard
Zebra
Owls
Baboons
Impalas/Water Bucks/Topi/Gazelle/DikDik
Silver backed monkey
Crocodile
Hippo
Eagles
Flamingo
Hyenas
Jackel

We are not birders, but more birds than I could possibly name.

I would definitely book another tour with Bushtop Safaris
5/5

Spotting the BIG TWO during our game drive and also the giraffes, zebras, antelope, etc was the highlight of the tour. We saw lions and buffalos! We were unlucky since we didn't see leopard, rhino and elephants. We booked with Bushtop Safaris who sent us the itinerary immediately after payment. Our tour guide, Joseph picked us at the agreed time. He engaged us throughout the whole trip, educating us on the history of the park. During the game drive, he educated us about all the animals he spotted. From the giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, different bird species, etc.

For anyone visiting Nairobi National Park, try to be there early in the morning to get a chance to see as many animals as possible and book with a credible tour company to get value for your money

Great 4-day safari
5/5

Fantastic 4-day camping safari with our guide Jollis who was so nice, easy-going, knowledgeable and helpful. We went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara, found the Big 5 and more, including lion cubs, leopard and many cheetahs! We slept in a tent and our cook Elias made us delicious vegetarian meals. We were lucky to be able to travel during the pandemic so the parks and campsites were empty, such a special experience - even though we of course hope that tourism picks back up soon for companies like this who are doing a great job ! Thanks for a magical trip !

Fulfilling and professionally handled
5/5

The staff were helpful from bookings done by Violah who guided us on a hotel at the Mara and provided a guide (Reuben). Reuben went above and beyond and ensured that we got to see the big 5, apart from the Leopard who totally refused to be seen. We were the ones getting tired but not him.
Keekorok Lodge is a good hotel but could use a bit of sprucing up especially the rooms. The menu could also use some improvement to make it child friendly. They could also work to accommodate those with intolerance for regular cows milk by including lactose free milk or almond milk.

A great team to turn your plans reality
5/5

As soon as I set myself to hike mount Kenya I knew I could find some difficulties accomodating my conditions (I was to move out of Embu at the same time, and I did not have the ideal equipment for the adventure), budget and desired itinerary. John from Keshi tours was very flexible and keen on my demands, even getting me a sleeping bag, pick-up in Embu, luggage kept safely, and drop-off in Nairobi. The hike itself was great; his father Mr Benson Kinaro a gentleman and knowledgeable guide, the porters and cook always in good mood and delivering a great service (Sammy's soups were a tremendous boost for morale if not a lifesaver). Their flexibility and fair costs made for a terrific time in the amazing mount Kenya. Fully recommended.

Best organization ever for a Safari
5/5

The best agency for a Safari... I have done several safaris in few countries and this is by far the best agency in terms of guides (William is the most experienced one for all the parks and has a deep knowledge/love for animals), lodges, new cars with Wifi, organization and they do the extra miles for you for the entire trip (Peter & Richard). Despite the fact that we traveled in the middle of the pandemic, they took all the necessaries precautions for our safety. 100% to be recommended.
