Experienced, Reliable and Knowledgeable all at a Fair Price
5/5

Pallid Safaris arranged my family's trip to Masaai Mara in July after our son's High School graduation. Eric was very experienced and knew every detail to tell us. We were on a tight budget and he was able to work with that; though we didn't stay in the fanciest place, accommodations were very adequate just on the edge of the park so we didn't have to pay overnight fees. He has good connections to hear where game are located and knows the parks extremely well. He worked to meet our desires. They keep their vehicles in excellent condition and arranged for plenty of water and sack lunches during outings.

He met us at the air field and guided us in how and where to pay the appropriate park fees. We have often used Pallid Safaris even in Nairobi just to get our whole family to the airport with a lot of luggage on several occasions while we were living there. They are ALWAYS early - never once have they been late and sometimes advised us to leave earlier than we were planning because they knew the traffic or security checks had changed and required more time than we had allotted. Extremely knowledgeable of any travel information you may need.

Awesome experience of gorilla safari
5/5

I had a wonderful experience with Ngoni Safaris right from the time of booking till the end of tour. Our travel consultant was very fast with the good knowledge and designed a very good 7 days trip to Uganda. The guide Sedrick was very friendly and helpful. Our stay at the lodge was a good experience for relaxing. The staff arranged a surprised birthday cake to my hubby and the gorillas made our trip a memorable! Thanks to Ngoni Safaris for such exciting experiences.

Thank you Ngoni Safaris for making these Vacations awesome
5/5

We had a wonderful time in Uganda with Sedrick. He was a great guide and very dependable. Very polite, extremely knowledgeable and always went out of his way to ensure that we had a great time. Sedrick met us at the airport and stayed with us for the next one week. As a result, we all of us spent a great deal of time with him and enjoyed his company immensely. He is passionate about the animals and Uganda and shares this with you throughout the trip.

Perfectly planned and organized tour
5/5

The trip we had, was an absolutely wonderful experience, Uganda is a fantastic country where you can have great opportunity to see different environment, landscape and amazing wildlife, as it is full of diversity. The driver/guide has been professional to his work but also very friendly and informative. The safari tour that we have been unbelievable and well organized. Accommodation they made in general were very good. Food makes a little boring sometimes, especially for vegetarians but in general good. Overall It’s fantastic.

We made some Special moments with Ngoni Safaris
5/5

Traveling with Ngoni SafarisUganda was the best choice I have ever made! I was pampered by their company representative right from the airport to the field. Our guide Mr. Sedrick was very jolly and detailed. Thing that make me closer to him was, when he helped my daughter so much when she got stomach upset due to rough roads while touring. The package we booked, very best properties with nice and delicious food. Mr. Sedrick spotted most of the animals as promised in our itinerary. We shall definitely come back for gorilla trucking and again with perfect this Company.

Selous NP January 2020
5/5

We visited Selous NP in January 2020. We stayed at Mloka Lodge a new opening lodge close to Selous and Mloka Village.
It was an amazing experience of the original Africa.
The park was unforgettable we saw all the animals of Africa in their natural habitat.
Also the lodge is new and the staff are very friendly everything clean and good food.
We also visited Mloka Village with the autentic style life of an African Village.
Thanks again Obag.
We will be back soon.

The guys and the bosses were nice enough, but logistically it was a disaster.
1/5

The communications were not good because the contact person were offline due to him being working in areas with low internet coverage, but answered when he had internet available.

We ordered 3 transfers, Harare- Vic Falls, Vic Falls- Livingstone and Livingstone- Lusaka.

Due to the company based in Zambia mixed the dates they hired a Zimbabwe based company to do Harare- Vic Falls. They came late,
drove a 14 hour ride instead of the 7 hour we ordered and demanded us to pay black marked fuel price at 50% higher cost because they had bought it at the black market. Then we understood why they drove the 14 hour route, they could charge more fuel at 50% higher price. I believe they payed the normal fuel price. (This was the Zimbabwe based company they hired.)

We stayed in Vic Falls for 2 nights, then the Zimbabwe guys should drive us to the border dropping us off and be picked up by Tafika travels in Zambia. By this time Tafika and the Zimbabwe based guys had started to fight over the the payment between them, and they didnt want to drive us before Tafika payed them. And my desperate messages to Tafika about our problem werent answered. We had already pre- payed all transfers, so we refused to pay the 800$ the guys demanded from us.

To be fair, our total payement was 960$ for 3 transfers, so the demand for 800$ for 1 transfer was redicilous, but that should have been agreed between them before the transfer, and not become our problem 5 minutes before the original departure leaving us with no transfer between the 2 countries.

The reason for using 2 companies was that we headed for Vic Falls february 9th, but the day before we understood Tafika thought we were going the wednesday 3 days later. So Tafika hired theese guys for the first half of our trip since they had no cars able to pick us up at 1 day notice. The mixed dates mentioned above.

We ended up with paying a local driver money to bring us to Livingstone, Zambia. There we met eventually the driver from Tafika. He was very nice, but had a car to small for our luggage. We ordered a car for 5 persons with luggage (5 suitcases + small bags), but the car could take 1 or 2 suitcases in the trunk. We had to pay 50$ extra for sending the luggage by bus, but only 2 out of 5 came to the hotel so 3 of us had no luggage half the Lusaka stay.

We demanded a refund for the Vic Falls- Livingstone transfer and the 50$ extra luggage cost and were told we should get that back.

After 3 months of waiting we have got only promises but no refund. My last question about the refund werent even answered. That makes me writing this review giving a 1 star. I dont like doing it since the guys were very nice and also promised a refund, but 3 after 3 months I give up.

Wonderful and Memorable
4/5

Hi James , I know it is long since i came back from Kenya. Our safari was short due to the Covid 19 that has just started but we are happy that the three days we took safari to Masai Mara was memorable. Our plan was to do mountain climbing but to the pandemic we had to take flight back home. We are also happy that we were not tested positive and we are well just hopping to come back to Kenya soon. We were happy with the accommodation and transport arrangement and we promised to come with bigger team. Debra, Tera and Nicole and I can not wait to see you soon. Evans

Best Serengeti game drive safari and Zanzibar
5/5

We had the best safari of our life in Serengeti national park. Very well-organized trips through Serengeti to Zanzibar. Right from pick-up, to our stays and to our visits, everything of our tour was thoughtfully planned out and well-accomplished, better than we had imagined. I take back wonderful memories of ever smiling faces, great food and the wildlife in the Serengeti plains.

We visited the exotic and beautiful stone town and then to Nungwi beach, which was one of the most beautiful sand-beach. The Zanzibar pristine beaches, gorgeous sunsets and very respectful and friendly people, this was definitely a perfect way to end our trip after the Serengeti game drives. Sailing in the sunset to drinks and great music, walking in the long beautiful shore gives you a perfect relaxation.

Maria is a good travel consultant, and it shows through her well-planned itinerary and her professionalism when interacting with the local staffs. She is very knowledgeable and organized, and she handles inevitable travel glitches with grace.

I will love to visit Tanzania again.

Thanks a lot, Tupo Travel
