Perfect
5/5

Found Bobby Camping by Tripadvisor. Mail and Whatsapp Contact. Payed 1/2 of Price in advance from Germany to Tansania. In Tansania everything was ok, Driver was waiting on Airport, next day startet Safari. I can recommend Driver Jolis, he was perfect. Safari as decribed, Lodges:
Twiga Lodge was ok with a nice Pool, nice People, clean. Serengeti Tented Camp was very nice , good equipped Tents, very nice People, nice Restaurant and Bar, they accompany you by walking in Camp by night, because no fence. Rhino Lodge, good equipped with big Fireplace in Restaurant, nice Rooms. On Safari lots of Animals, all big 5.
All together it was a perfect trip, more than expected, can recommend Murtaza and Bobby Camping.

Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Tarangire / Lake Manyara private safari
5/5

We had an amazing time in the Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Tarangire / Lake Manyara for our private safari in November 2019. Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was very responsive at all times and organized everything very well. The accomodations were very good, especially our camp in the middle of the Serengeti, which was a perfect location. Our guide was amazing - knowledgeable, super friendly, helpful and fun! Highly recommended and hope to be back soon. Thank you!

EXCELLENT TOUR AND AMAZING STAFF
5/5

We had an amazing safari experience. The staff made it incredible. Our guide was Matata and he was wonderful. He accommodated all of our requests and was very knowledgeable. On our game drive we were able to see almost all of the big 5. After the safari we headed to Zanzibar. The owner even helped us book our ferry’s in advance (which came out to be very helpful) and dropped us off at the port after the safari. I left expensive sunglasses in the safari truck and Justin was nice enough to meet us afternoon our return from Zanzibar. Very credible. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic safari, amazing animals, knowledgeable guide
5/5

Thale at Wild Planet Safari was super helpful answering all of our questions via email before the safari. We received our shuttle ticket in plenty of time, and our guide met us right at the shuttle drop-off. Coming from outside the country we really had no idea what to expect, so asked lots of questions.

Our guide Ryan was very knowledgeable, really friendly, a great cook, and easy to be with for four days. We chose the enclosed vehicle, and it was great for both viewing and photography. Inside Kruger National Park we took the north route and stayed inside two different rest camps over three nights/four days. The huts we stayed inside the rest camps were clean and air-conditioned, as advertised.

We highly recommend Wild Planet Safari company for Kruger Park. The animals are amazing!

The Best Way to Experience East Africa!
5/5

The Explorer Kenya experience is such a treat! It makes exploration of Africa easy and allows you to focus on exactly what you want, how you want to do it, and when. I had only a few days for a quick safari/game drive experience from Nairobi and the company made things absolutely easy and seamless. With only 3 short days available, I was able to arrange to be picked up from my hotel in the city, driven to my accomodation in Masai Mara (in a 4x4 truck well suited to any condition - city driving and the wet, muddy roads of the park), taken on a slew of game drives (afternoon on arrival, full day, morning on departure, and a quick game drive in Nairobi), and dropped at the airport - complete service end-to-end (including gas, park fees for the vehicle, and a supplement).

Perhaps best of all, my included driver/guide, Jonathan, helped make the experience all the better with his expert knowledge of the country, animals, and park itself. His having been in the industry so long made him well-known among the other drivers in the park and he was able to communicate with then effectively bia the onboard radio to give almost a menu of wildlife options ("Would you like to see these cheetahs ahead or go try to find this black rhino...?"). We would drive down lesser known park roads that would take us away from the crowds and on our own bit of exploration, finding rare surprises because of it - a lone cheetah ambling along, a feeding pair of lions that then proceeded to mate, and aside from the animals, some stunning viewpoints of the park and countryside. But aside from that, Jonathan quickly became a friend. Easy to get along with, good-natured, and fun/funny, he was someone to talk to on the long drives, to pick his knowledge of all things Africa. Jonathan was always willing to work with my schedule and desires and more than happy to try to find the wildlife experiences I was looking for (which sometimes shunned the exciting bit cats and focused on the small beautiful birds of the park - don't miss the Lilac-Breasted Roller!). Not only that, but he managed the roads like a champion - here on the edge of the wet season, the track had turned to a muddy mess, but he was able to keep us going without getting stuck (knowing all the best ways to reach the wildlife experiences we were coveting - no easy feat!).

For me, the entire experience was in noted contrast to the one I had earlier this month. Then, I rented my own car to make the drive to Amboseli National Park - that came with the added nightmare of navigating Nairobi's traffic and sometimes confusing roads. Near the park, the roadway turned to bumpy, uneven dirt (something the rental was ill-equipped for). Then, at the hotel, I'd pay to rent a safari vehicle and guide for the morning/afternoon/day. In all, I'd spend more on that experience than simply having contracted with Explorer Kenya for the all-inclusive service.

I can't recommend the team highly enough. This is the perfect way to experience the East Africa parks (hopefully you have more time than I did!). And if you get paired with Jonathan, you are in for an extra treat!

Beautiful
5/5

Very beautiful and interesting forest. And it’s so huge with plenty of things to see. Esther from Escape to Africa recommended the 5 days Gorilla tour and Bwindi Forest did not let us down. You must be very patient as it takes time to meet the gorillas. You'll know for sure when you are almost within proximity of them. There are marked trails and a few clear places for stops and a picnic lunch. Please be careful and walk on marked designated trails. Listen to the rangers. No camera flashes, Observe silence and no littering in the forest. People get a little crazy here when they spot gorillas and get to close to them or step right in front of you to take pictures. Be careful, patient and considerate. Wonderful experience. Amazing trees. Beautiful forest. The Gorilla permit pays for itself!
