Fantastic and well organised safari. Im glad i chose Suricata!
We were a group of two, an amazing breath-taking expirience. From the beggining to the end of the safari we felt safe. We did the 4 day safari with our amazing driver Fredrick. He did his best to find even the rearest animals in the parks, patient (he stopped every time when we asked) and well educated person ready to give answers on every question about everything. Also our private chef Tito cooked specialy for us amazing and delicious local dishes every day. I have to mention the owner of the company Hilary, it was so easy to communicate with him even when i chose Whatsapp he was there for me all the time to give me information about the safari. A lifetime experience. also ask the driver for visiting the Masai village if you are interested of their life.

First, I want to say that I chose Compass Odyssey for our 15 night Southern African tour based on stellar reviews. Fantastic choice. Compass Odyssey provided in depth written communication regarding all aspects of our journey that started off in Cape Town for 4 nights at Tintagel House, then off to Greater Kruger at Bateleur Safari Camp for 3 nights. My wife Sandy and I then flew from Nelspruit to Livingston Zambia where we stayed at Thorntree River Lodge for 2 nights viewing Victoria Falls and a true off the grid African village. We were then transported by vehicle across the new Botswana border bridge to Chobe River Lodge for 1 night and the next day were flown by Safari air to the Okavango delta where we stayed 3 nights at Kanana Safari Camp. For our final 2 nights in South Africa we returned by air to Cape Town and the Tintagel House in the Gardens District. The trip vastly exceeded any expectations that I had regarding the beauty of Cape Town, the Safari camps with up close and intimate game drives, (participated in 12), the on the ground teams that Compass Odyssey has assembled and the fact that Darren followed our daily progress making sure everything went off as planned. That is over the top 5 star service. The tragedy of Covid is providing vaccinated travelers with a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience world class Africa without busses full of tourists and long cues. If you have an interest in seeing Africa, just do it. Quality, service, value, 5 star venues, Compass Odyssey has all of the boxes checked.

Magic Time in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
We booked our Tanzania Safari with Exposed Africa for 6 nights for our holiday. We were a group of 10 and most days we had 2 groups of 5. Our family was with Zungu (guide) and he surpassed our expectations as our steadfast safari guide. He is such a nice driver, navigator, animal hunter, naturalist, cultural liaison, interpreter, scheduler, lunch server, conversationalist, historian. Always polite and calm and willing to engage in cultural conversations, politics and reflect on complex topics. Not only did he change a tire in the middle of the bush, twice, he even helped a stuck driver out of the mud which we thought was rather heroic and generous. While we wanted to see the Big 5, he made no promises. He cautiously made our dreams come true, often heading off in a rush and spotting animals for us with binoculars. He interacted with our children and taught them things, mostly about the animals, their habits and environments. On our own game drive, he took the three children for their own grand adventure while the adults were behind in the other vehicle. Lucky for them to spy not only one leopard but two as they got ahead of us. We will never forget the memories we made on our safari. Thank you Zungu, we really appreciate your strong guiding skills and leadership. Our strong recommendation for Exposed Africa Team to all those planning to visit Tanzania. We will definitely go with them again next time when we return to Tanzania.

Reliable, professional, friendly tour operator
My two parents, boyfriend and my two younger children (ages 7 and 5) enjoyed a eight night northern Tanzania circuit tour in June 2021 and it was absolutely incredible. All of our three lodges and one glamping type camp were over the top luxurious. (Think infinity pool overlooking the open Serengeti.. Wow!)
The owner, Vincent, responded to my emails immediately throughout the entire planning phase and also while we were on safari. I wanted to add another night to the beginning of our trip and it was no problem at all. Vincent also made all the arrangements for our COVID tests needed to fly out at the end of our trip.
Peter was our guide and driver for the entire trip and was fantastic. He was a very experienced guide and knew so much. Also, he was great with my children and my elderly parents. Not only did he know about every single animal, but he knew his birds, which was perfect because my father is an avid bird watcher. Vincent and his company is a newer safari group but don’t be fooled because they know exactly what they are doing and are super professional and helped us at every turn. I learned with all my other safari company quotes that even the more expensive safari groups use the exact same lodging places and the same 4 x 4 Jeeps, but were quoted unreasonably higher. I highly recommend Vincent and Vimat.

A very easy booking experience. The trip was expertly planned by Native Africa Trails with our bespoke needs taken into consideration. Incredibly enjoyable from start to finish. Safari vehicle very clean and well maintained. Hotel super. Maasai Mara beautiful. All in all one of the highlights of our time in Kenya.

Amazing experience and enjoyable adventure!
My boyfriend and I have always wanted to tour Africa and after a long search we decided to go to Uganda. I am so glad we entrusted Maraka Tours and Safaris with our vacation! The staff was amazing and the company handled all bookings to all the places we went to. We were received at the airport by kind staff, the car was very clean and comfortable with bottled water! We had the 15 day package to tour western Uganda and out tour guide was knowledgeable. We explored Murchison falls national park, had a boat cruise and were entertained with different African dances and foods. We saw how the Batwa live in the forests, beautiful scenery, fresh air and so many delicious fresh fruits. Our favorite times were the early morning game drives to see the animals. All accomodation, meals for the day and bottled water were included at pocket friendly prices considering other companies we searched under. I cannot appreciate Maraka Tours and Safaris enough for making our first ever trip to Africa memorable!

My wife and I booked a 14 days safari to Tanzania. Mary was great about letting us know all of the expectations for travel, as COVID has changed the rules so we were prepared in advance. The booking process was easy and staff always ready to adapt themselves and offer the best experience. Payment terms were very flexible; 30% (refundable in case of cancellation) payable on confirmation and the balance payable a few days to arrival day.
On arrival at the airport, we were warmly welcome by Gilbert; in a well polished safari jeep. Our adventure included day trek to Kilimanjaro Mountain, visits to Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and a honeymoon beach holiday in Zanzibar. We couldn’t pick a favourite out of these places as they were all so spectacular.
We both have a return trip to Africa heading our bucket lists, to include another experience with Gilmag Safaris. We would 100% recommend anyone to book via Gilmag Safaris. A big thank you to Mary, Gilbert and the team.
