An amazing adventure to Gombe Stream National Park and trekking with the chimpanzees of Gombe
I have been traveling to Tanzania for the last nine years, twice a year for a month each time to work and have been on dozens of safaris, having driven many of my own, and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. I have experienced much of what Tanzania has to offer and now relish in being able to introduce others to this wonderful country, so when I have the opportunity to discover something new in this amazing country, it is a real plus for me. Discovering Gombe Stream National Park and Gombe Track Safaris & Tours was just that! A colleague had used their services last April and had spoken very highly of them, but I had not completely expected the wonderful care and service that Joshua and his team provided to us all along the way. We had booked four nights at Gombe with them and absolutely everything was arranged and went off without a hitch. That included our airport transfers from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport, Dar airport to our hotel in Dar and back again, Kigoma airport to our boat to Gombe. The return trip was equally smooth. Our captain, Juma, took wonderful care of us the camp at Gombe (We chose to stay in the tents). Juma cooked all of our meals for us and gave us more food than we could eat. He was flexible on times for meal and was always there checking on us. We were there in the dry season, so the chimps were much higher in the hills, but we were able to see them on the three days we trekked. The beach at the Gombe camp was lovely and the sunsets were to die for. It rained several days, but life went on as usual. I brought several friends with me who were first timers in Tanzania and they couldn't say enough about the trip with Gombe Track Safaris. It was everything we had hoped for and more. I will be referring other friends to them without question. They were just totally awesome.

Professional Guide
My dad and I spent 2 day with our guide Mike. We both very satisfied about his company. Very responsible. Because our schedule is rather tight, so he has to work very long hour with us. He is patient all the time and talk with us about the animal and the country.
Hope I can go Serengeti next time with Mr. Mike.

We expected more animal-watching
We booked 4 day trip to Masa Mara. According to the schedule, we will have afternoon safari on first day, full day safari on 2nd and 3rd day , morning safari on the 4th day. Below are our actual activities:
1st day: We arrive hotel at 2.30pm. Our guide arrange a walk near the hotel with the hotel staff for us from 4.30-6.00. We didn't go for the game drive as the schedule said.
2nd day: We went hot air ballon. After the breakfast of balloon, other company have their guide pick them us at the breakfast place. We have no one to pick us up. The ballon company ask us where is out driver we have no idea. They try to call the hotel and the driver but he can't get in touch with the driver. He was not at hotel by then. So the ballon company let us share the car with others. After send them back to their hotel, then send us back to ours. We arrive our hotel at about 12, our car was not at the hotel, nor the driver. We talk with another guide from Classic Journey, he said our driver told him we would like to start the game drive by 4pm which is never the plan. The driver back to hotel at about 12.30 and we had game drive 1.30pm - 5.30 pm.
3rd day: We departure about 6pm, had picnic breakfast & lunch and back about 4pm.
4th day: No game drive in the morning. Check out at about 8am and back to Nairobi.

Great Service
Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours handled our hotel transfers, river cruise and safari tours. The service we received was excellent. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to get around the Victoria Falls area. They were knowledgeable about the various activities in the area, and offered highly competitive prices.

Great tour!
At 5:00 a.m., Bradley Cooper, the driver and guide, picked us up at the hotel and took us to the Kruger Park shortly after dawn.
The walk was very complete, we were lucky and saw the Big 5 although some from afar.
If we return to the park, we will surely repeat with Legend Safaris !!
We were always very well served by email and WhatsApp by Shaheen.

Great trip made even better by Pembury Tours!
We worked with Tammy to plan our honeymoon in September 2019 and could not have had a better experience. I recommend 100% African Savanna Travel!!!!
This year we traveled again with African Savanna Travel for the second time in a row, and I'm sure it will not be the last.
This is probably the best tour operator to travel to Southern Africa. You can feel that Tanja is very professional from the first email that you exchange with her, and then, as you talk with her, you can see that she is also very kind and friendly.
Communication with her is simply perfect. She goes out of her way to please all requests, and also has very good advice to give because her knowledge of the area is excellent.
In this year's holidays, we traveled to Namibia and Kgalagadi for 20 days, by self drive and combining campsite and lodge. All the accommodations chosen by Tanja, the rental car company, and the activities, have been unbeatable. During the trip we had contact with Tanja through whatsapp, she always worries that everything goes well. Even if there is a problem (this is Africa so surely always happens something) Tanja manages to solve everything at the moment. I just trust her and I travel calmly knowing that she is there.
