MEMORABLE AND GREAT 4-DAY TRIP WITH MY FAMILY
My family of 7 and I travelled to the Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli then participated in the hot-air balloon safari, bird watching, horse riding and boat riding. It was such a stunning experience travelling with Antonio Safaris. My wife, daughters and sons were so excited and actually wanted to extend the stay to one more day. We recommend this company to anyone looking for a trusted tour operator in East Africa.

Incredible Experience
Being a solo traveler, and on my first safari trip, I was anxious to say the least. But there was no need, as Henry and they team put all my worries at ease from the booking process, right through to the final day!
I went for the 6 day Safari, visiting Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, finishing at Masai Mara. For the first 4 days, my driver Johson was absolutely fantastic. I was simply amazed at his knowledge of both his country and the animals that can be found, answering any and all questions I fired at him. He also had exceptional eye sight, managing to spot the smallest of animals from what seemed to be a mile away. The game drives around Amboseli, and Lake Nakuru where an absolute joy - where he simple knew where to place the vehicle to get the best view/ photos of the animals, this payed off as it resulted in a pride of lions walking directly towards us at one point.
Unfortunately the vehicle we where using had to return to Nairobi half way through the trip, for its annual checkup. Johnson had to return also - however Henry had personally organized a second vehicle to continue the safari, and attended the finals days as a guide also. These final days I was privileged to have a Maasai person as the driver (sorry I forget his name), who once again had incredible knowledge of the area - and the wildlife. On top of that, he also had clear knowledge of where the various animals could be found throughout the day - with near laser accuracy to find them.
Ended the safari with a trip to a Kenyan BBQ in Nairobi with Henry!!
I cannot recommend Dume Africa enough. Henry was available at all times, answering both E-mails and phone calls swiftly to answer any questions I had.
Would I recommend, or use in the future? 110% yes!!

Respectful and reliable
We had extraordinary Safari between Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Julius and chef Kisauti. Kisauti is the sweetest person and he cooks the best soups ever, while Julius is not only extremely competent, but also very respectful towards the animals and the environment (and he has the best stories to tell!). As for the Safari, we saw the big five and we lived a true adventure at our own pace, with our needs and wishes always taken into account. Next time we will come back to Julius 100%.

My husband and 3 daughters just completed a fabulous 7 day Christmas safari with Christopher. He was recommended by a dear friend who had taken her family (3 sons) on safari July 2023. -We went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Masek and Central Serengeti. Christopher planned the perfect itinerary -we truly wouldn't have changed any of our lodging choices and we saw such diversity in topography and animals. We loved the majestic 2700 yr old Baobab trees speckling the Tarangire, the lush Jurassic Park' like feel of the Ngorongoro, the giraffe sculpted acacia trees in Lake Masek, and the Great Plains of the Serengeti. We saw lions, huge herds of elephants (200+ elephants), the migrating herds of wildebeest and zebra, giraffe, hippos, hyena and so so much more! My daughter has a recent diagnosis of Celiac and Chris worked with each location to be sure she had gluten free celiac safe options. We can not say enough good things about Chris Samwel and I Dream of Africa!

A perfectly organized safari!
We did a thorough research before booking this safari but Morning Star made the difference from the beginning. From day one we felt safe thanks to the great communication we had with Dennis, who was always available to plan with us our dream safari.
The tour was exactly as planned, we had the chance to see everything we wanted and had so much fun. We went to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. All hotels were perfect, we stayed at Ol Tukai Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge and Zebra Plains Mara.
Our guide Peter was always on time and he was super flexible and super eager to help us on anything that came up. We really appreciated his effort for us to see as many animals as we could while also providing many information for them. He was

Best operator for those who look for perfection in their Safari trips
Lion King Adventures and everyone involved in our trip made this experience unforgettable! This is one of the best holidays we had, unique, well planned and organized from the beginning.
Our Safari guide, Enock, was basically a hero. He made our trip unforgettable thanks to his kindness, knowledge about the wildlife and the National parks, especially Serengeti. He did not hesitate to go an extra mile for ensuring that we see all the animals we dreamed of. We not only did see all the big 5, but also other rare animals like cheetah, serval cat, crocodile, even a genet and many more. He is highly knowledgeable about the wild animals and full of passion to share that with us. He is a great driver and makes you feel always safe in the safari car. He also helped my boyfriend plan proposal to me which made this trip unforgettable

Fantastic experience - Ticked all boxes - Great communication
My wife and I had a fantastic time on the 9 night tour beginning in Nairobi. Our experience was as follows:
Initial enquiry/booking process: I had reached out to a number of different safari operators and Alex from Mama Savana was prompt and detailed in his responses that made the decision to book with him an extremely easy one.
Deposit and payment process: As with any large overseas transfer there is an element of risk. Alex was able to provide a very simple payment link that enabled me to pay with card. I received a receipt and confirmation from Alex almost instantly.
Arrival process: I provided the team our flight details and arrival time. Upon arrival in Nairobi Sammy was there to greet us at the airport to take us to our hotel. A note to others that you need evidence of the Yellow Fever vaccine to enter Tanzania from Kenya. We were also able to purchase our visa at the border.
The accommodation: The accomodation was great and provided everything we needed for our time travelling through Kenya and Tanzania - They are as good as you could possibly expect when travelling in remote parts of Africa. There were some highlights though. The Simba lodge and the coffee lodge being stand outs.
Safari and Guides: We were fortunate enough to have two extremely professional and experienced guides in Sammy (Kenya) and Harun (Tanzania). Both had their own style in telling us about the different facts and information about animals and landmarks that was great for us too.
We didn’t know what to expect when it came to seeing the animals in the reserves, but we soon realised it’s difficult to see all animals at least once with the leopards, cheetahs and Rhinos being the most elusive.
Our guides did everything they could to make sure we saw everything and in the end we did! We even saw a leopard and cheetah for a second time on the last day in the Serengeti. I can’t express how good these men were at making sure we had a great experience.
Also a very special mention to their driving abilities. I had read some other reviews that mention this, and didn’t think much of it. But wow. These guys get that Landcruiser in and out of places you wouldn’t think possible.
On the dodgiest of roads we felt extremely safe in these capable hands.
Overall we had a fantastic experience and I would certainly recommend anyone to go with Mama Savana
