5/5

From the start Marta helped us plan the perfect safari for our schedule and expectations, with every detail. When we arrived everything was prepared, everything went smoothly which contributed to a joyful experience. The driver Fidelis had over 17 years of experience and put a lot of effort to make the safari unforgettable. Overall the end we ended up seeing every animal we wanted and more than we ever expected, it was truly awesome and incomparable.

3-day Fly in Safari & Kilimanjaro foothills
5/5

The only way to describe our Safari Soles experience was total perfection. From the minute we made our enquiry to them, they were fantastic, extremely helpful and informative. Renatus assisted us promptly and helped us tailor our trip to suit our timescales, budget and wants. He was contactable whilst we were away and was brilliant throughout.

We opted for a three-day, fly in fly out from Zanzibar, including the day trip to the foothills of Kilimanjaro (day 1), safari in the Tarangire park (day 2) and finally a trip to the Ngorongoro crater (day 3).

Day 1 Foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro - We are glad we added the first day because it meant we could maximise the safari days without the flight in the morning, but the experience itself was unbelievable. Our guide and driver Baltazari was lovely, very informative and made sure we maximised our day. He taught us about local culture as well as his personal experiences, whilst taking us on a fantastic walk to the Materuni waterfall which was stunning, a coffee plantation and a beautiful hot spring.

Day 2 & 3 Tarangire Safari and Ngorongoro crater - Our safari days were unforgettable and made so due to our guide Simon, better known as the Safari Monster!! He was so lovely, a fantastic driver and guide and without him our days would not have been as good as they were - he went above and beyond. Without him, we would not have seen the Big 5 in 24hours, a new record! We put our trust in him and he delivered the best experience we have ever had.

Out of the animals we saw including, giraffes, elephants and lions (and much more) it is incredibly hard to see leopards and rhinos out on safari but we saw it all!! Even telling local people on our return about it they said that it is unheard of and that we had a very special trip.

We would highly recommend you book a trip with him and he would be our first choice for any future experience with Safari Soles (fingers crossed). Simon is a legend and we miss him already!

One difference that set Safari Soles apart from other tours we saw on Safari was the food that we had whilst out on the game drives. We had full meals, prepared and cooked by local people in comparison to the sandwich and juice box other groups had and it was delicious!

Overall, our experience was 11/10. If you are thinking of booking a trip to Tanzania, Safari Soles and the guides we have mentioned - they are a fantastic choice.

Very friendly
5/5

Arthur was very helpful in organizing our trip. We had a minor accident but he made sure we arrived to Vic Falls safely. He would wake up early to make sure that we were picked for all the activities we had requested. Lastly, he texted to check if we traveled well going back home. I would recommend him to anyone because of his hospitality and how transparent he is.

Andrew is an excellent game driver
5/5

We had an amazing 5 day safari with Axis covering Maasai Mara, Nakuru, Navasha and Hell Gates. Andrew was our safari guide and he is just excellent. He is a great driver, tried to maximise our time during safari so that we could see as much as we possibly could! Andrew was not bored of our 1000s of questions, was very organised and helpful. Highly recommend!

weka best great migration

I recently went on a six-day safari with Moria Safari to witness the Great Migration and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the trip was well-organized

I highly recommend Moria Safari for anyone looking to experience the Great Migration.

The combination of incredible wildlife, expert guiding, and comfortable accommodations made for a truly memorable trip. I can't wait to book another safari with Moria in the future!

Great communication and fun trip
5/5

We did a luxury 12 day trip with Serengeti Smile that included safari and beaches. The communication throughout was amazing and we were able to customize our trip. It was reasonably priced! We HIGHLY recommend doing the hot air balloon tour - it’s worth it.

I encourage folks to look up the hotels being booked to ensure they’re what you expect. Accommodations vary and you should know what to expect. Luxury is defined differently by everyone.

Our safari guide, Goodluck, spent so much time with us looking for animals and we had a blast. He gave us animal info and made sure we saw everything we wanted.

Nungwi beach in Zanzibar is very crowded and not what we expected. If we were to go back we’d go for a quieter area of the island. But we still were able to relax. Do your research to ensure you know which area is best for you.

Overall a great experience with Serengeti Smile.

Professional
5/5

My experience was exceptional. Patricia was instrumental in finding options for different hotels I would visit in Naivasha for the Christmas holidays. After I settled on The Great Rift valley lodge she helped me with the entire process all I needed to do was pay and show up. Her follow up and customer service is commendable. Looking forward to taking more trips with Sovereign Adventures

Excellent service, providing a once in a lifetime experience.
5/5

I would not hesitate to recommend Suricata Safaris to my friends and family. Communication from the start was brilliant, they were quick at responding to our many questions, and we felt reassured that everything was in place before we left the UK.

Me and my friend (gals in our 30s) went on a four day safari and it was beyond our wildest dreams, exceeding all our expectations. Their small company values were demonstrated throughout the trip where they went above and beyond, not only for their own guests but also helping other tourists and drivers. You really do feel the family comradery, which adds to the overall experience and sense of safety, with everyone looking out for each other.

We were lucky enough to see over 25 different species on our 4 day safari, and 4 of the big 5! Our ranger Mr Rocky was brimming with knowledge and happily answered our 101+ questions, ranging from the animals and their habitat to Tanzanian politics. Mr Rocky went out of his way to make sure we had a fun time, lots of good vibes, dancing and singing. He also managed to get the jeep in the best spots for some unbelievable photos.

We opted for the tented lodge accomodation and was lucky enough to stay one night at the Suricata Boma Lodge, which was a once in a life time experience. All the accomodation was great, all with ensuites, and comfy beds. Boma Lodge was true luxury, the bungalows were spacious with beautiful interiors, it had a great pool with views of Lake Manyara, good food and the staff were absolutely fantastic, Miriam was especially good to us, and the fun lady working behind the bar at the pool (think her name was Salome). The staff at Boma performed songs at dinner (they all have the voices of angels) and the night was brimming with joy. Ang'ata was also really great, the manager Alfred was super friendly and the 'tent' we stayed in was beautiful and very comfortable. There were some lovely little touches at the Boma Lodge and Ang'ata, the staff at Ang'ata put hot water bottles in our beds, a much welcome surprise on a cold night.

Each morning Mr Rocky would ready the jeep, so it was clean, tidy and ready for the day. We had all the cold bottled water we could ever need, plus snacks if we were getting a bit peckish. The lunchtime food provided by Suricata Safaris was good quality, it was a hot option, pasta or rice, meat and vegtables. The bathroom facilities (on the road) were good and there were enough scheduled stops for all that water we were drinking.

We hope to be able to return one day and do it all again, this truly was one of the best experiences we have both had, and we would not consider booking a safari with any other company. Thank you Suricata Safaris team for your kindness, good vibes, and making this a trip of a lifetime.
