Look past the ONE bad review in TripAdvisor and look at the MANY great reviews!

I booked my trip May 13, 2024 for a June 2024 trip with Lulu Safaris Uganda not knowing much about their company other than their SPECTACULAR reviews. When EVERYONE is giving great reviews it says a lot about a company. I do remember seeing that ONE bad review on TripAdvisor from Madjula. There’s always one bad apple out there. When looking for a GREAT COMPANY to use for a safari or gorilla tracking don’t base your decision on this bad review. Look past it like me as there are MANY spectacular one’s. Mine included. I’ve traveled many times to Africa doing safaris and climbing Kilimanjaro. I can’t stress enough how important it is to judge for yourself when reading reviews. Had I not booked because of her bad review I would’ve missed out on a once in a lifetime adventure. In reading ALL of the reviews the guide she mentions as terrible was talked about positively in MANY of the reviews. I personally find it horrendous that such a negative review was given. An unhappy person trying to pull everyone down.
As for my review: it was nothing but exceptional. I booked my trip on a whim and Elvis, the owner of Lulu Safaris, was terrific. I changed my itinerary last minute and everything was still okay. He and his wife had my permits within a day. I did the gorilla habituation and regular tracking on my trip. It was a dream come true. As for air conditioning as Madjula complained about was no big deal. It’s Africa! You’re here for an adventure not to be pampered as if you’re in your own country. Live life and roll with the punches. Of the two hotels that I stayed at one had ac and one didn’t. Oh well! The one without was Bweza Gorilla Lodge. What the Lodge had was great people. Gavis and Judith made me feel so welcome and cared for. We had fires at night and had good fun. As I said, air conditioning isn’t a big deal. The fresh breeze was beautiful! The people make a difference not air conditioning. As for my guides I can’t say enough good about them. Charles and Stuart are their names. Incredible people! Charles is wise, super funny, a comedian, a dancer and an all around great person. He loves his job and communicating with his clients. It definitely shows. Stuart is a great photographer, soft spoken yet knowledgeable about many things. He’s caring and quite thoughtful. He gave me a gift at the end of my trip that is so meaningful. I will remember these “FRIENDS” for a lifetime. I tracked the gorillas with Stuart and he took many beautiful pictures of the trip. I’m truly going to miss the fun times! But as we all know all good things must come to an end unfortunately.
I’d like to thank Elvis, his wife, Charles, Stuart, Gavis, Judith for making my trip to Uganda very memorable. So much so that I cried at the end of my adventure.
I can go in and on but the moral of the story is that Lulu Safaris Uganda is a great company with great guides. They’re professional, funny, caring and love what they do!

Full Package Adventures deliver what they promise
We were picked up from our hotel May 18th and had a great 4 day journey in the national parks of Tarangire and Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater.
The Tarangire National Park was beautiful with its different vegetation and the other 2, specially Serengeti were packed with wildlife. We enjoyed seeing both the more "famous" and least famous but equally amazing animals we saw. Managed to see the big 5, the last one being the elusive Rhino at the crater. We also saw a few hyenas, a couple of cheetahs from up close and a whole family of Lions with cubs right next to the car.
Our guide John was very knowledgeable, and quickly identified every land animal and also all the birds we found, and didn't mind stopping all the time to take pictures of anything, even if it was a far away zebra, despite knowing we would see plenty of others from close.
The sales team was very responsive, never taking to long to reply to my doubts and checking if everything was ok. The route, accomodation, schedules and prices were the ones promised and expected so everything went according to plan.
The picnic areas were nice, inside the park with great views. The lunch food was ok. The accomodation provided was the one we asked and it fulfill expectations (even had some animals strolling around the campsite in Serengeti). The food in the campsites was good.
We were also happy we didn't go in the high season because there were a lot less cars and we wouldn't have been able to be just us with the animals as we were at times, even with a Lion at one point. Maybe one thing that could have been better was the car we were in seemed to be a bit older than other companies, but that didn't affect us because it was always able to take us everywhere we needed to go.

Marvelous trip that we had, tour guide Abdul is very nice
Worthy to try, we saw various animals in the Masai Mara national park, and lake Nakuru is so beautiful, our guide is very responsible and friendly, we had a good time, especially travel with a group of happy people

An amazing guy
At short notice we struck the deal. On D-day, the tour guide was right on time.
All through the trip, he was friendly, supportive and eager to see us satisfied.
He made the tour easy and exciting with his clear narrations and descriptions of the animals in their habitat.
For me, it was another school and I had a good teacher.

Amazing team
Thank you Kensai for making sure my first time experiencing an African safari was exceptional . Since I don't understand the local dialect , they provided me with a guide. The driver too was extremely patient and flexible. I am planning to come back with my family. Hope they will enjoy it too.

I found this review hard to write , as it is impossible to convey how happy I was with the level of service from Lion King Adventures.
Booking a Safari to Africa can be overwhelming as there are so many tour companies to choose from so how to differentiate? Right away as soon as I contacted Lion King their head office staff were incredibly helpful and efficient in helping is select the right tour, taking payment, providing travel advice etc . Which gives you a sense of comfort in the time leading up to Safari. Once you arrive in Africa is where the magic begins, I am sure for alot of people like us Africa is a bucket list destination, the trip of a lifetime so your expectations are incredibly high, Lion King exceeded all my expectations and more !! The Accommodation at all locations provided such an incredibly authentic and delightful experience, the food was amazing and the service impeccable. Nyota Luxury Camp in Serengeti is a must do. I will forever keep the memories of this place in my heart , the warmth of the people✅ (Jambo ,Jambo Bwana), the luxury tents ✅& sleeping in the wild with the roar of nearby lions in the background priceless !! And now for the most essential part of the experience your Guide . We were very fortunate to have Suliman for our journey and I can't say enough about the quality of the Safari he delivered....His knowledge of the wildlife , his driving on difficult roads, his level of service, his hidden photography skills , his easy going nature (Hakuna Matata ).......We would always say we were incredibly lucky as we got to see all the Big 5, and more! We even got to see numerous Black Rhino, but what I know now is that this comes down to more than luck. This comes down to the skills of your guide, Africa is the wild and nothing is guaranteed but having a guide like Suliman stacks the decks in your favour !! I can honestly say that after 7 days Suliman did not just feel like my guide he felt like my friend !
Lion King will deliver everything you could possibly wish for and more , they made us feel ike part of their African Family.

Perfect organization
Our 5-day safari in Tanzania was an unforgettable experience! We started in Tarangire National Park, where the majestic baobab trees and numerous giraffes impressed us.
Then we spent three days in different parts of the Serengeti. Thanks to our professional and dedicated guide Noely, we saw the "Big 5" and the "Ugly 5" and hat some special moments with a cheetah hunting, or a cheetah with her babies. Also a highlight was to see the great migration with millions of wildbeests, zebras, and so on..
The lodges all were very comfortable and offered great service! Thanks for that.
Our last day in the Ngorongoro Crater was a highlight, with breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. The entire organization was excellent. We highly recommend this safari!

They were very well organized, knowledgeable, kind and made our experience unforgettable.
Me and four others did 3 days and 2 nights with Cosiano safari. They had everything planned out very well and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and I enjoyed every meal. The driver did a great job at informing us about the animals we saw and fulfilled all of our requests during the trip. The safari was a 10/10 and I highly recommend this company as it was an incredible experience for a great price.

The best experience ever!
The whole experience was indescribable and unforgettable. Everything from start to finish was excellent, we wouldn't change a thing. We stayed in lodges and they were all exceptional, with delicious food and friendly staff. Chef Emanuel cooked excellently for our lunches. But I would like to praise our guide and driver Charles the most, who was like a “father” to our shared group. He took really good care of us and we felt safe and comfortable with him. All praise to the whole company Crater Explorers because they were very reliable and reachable for our questions!
