One amazing experience!
Due to a cancellation of our previously booked Safari one week before departure, we were scrambling to find a replacement tour. Right Choice was one of the companies we contacted. Of these companies, Right Choice seemed to be most accommodating to our requests. George was able to quickly put together a tour that had the itinerary we wanted. The accommodations he booked were a bit better than the previous tour, and thus the Safari was more, but not unreasonable. In the end, after a day on bumpy roads, it’s nice to come back to a place where you are comfortable and the food is very good. Most of the accommodations were right in the parks so you were able to see animals from the lodges.
Our drivers, Bonny in Kenya, and Ziggy in Tanzania were both excellent. They had keen eyes and great knowledge of the animals, birds and even some of the plants we inquired about. I’m not sure how many guests are as interested in the smaller birds, as I was, but we not only stopped for many, but they were also quickly identified.
Our Safari started in Lake Nakuru. On our first day we saw lions, giraffes, flamingos and many other birds, vervet monkeys, baboons, zebras (they are everywhere), impalas, gazelles, Cape buffalo, and most impressive, a mama and baby white rhino. We left for the Masai Mara on the second day. Here we completed the big 5 with a leopard and elephants. We also saw cheetah and wildebeest, a black rhino, hyena, hippos, crocs, ostriches and many other types of antelope. Leaving the Masai Mara on our way to the Serengeti, we passed thru what seemed to be the last of the Great Migration. Tens of thousands of wildebeest gathered together, plus a line of them marching as far as the eye could see in the direction of the Mara River. Didn’t get to witness them crossing the river though.
At the border, we changed drivers. We told our new driver that he had his work cut out for him as we had seen so many varieties of animals. We got to the Serengeti and it seemed to have way fewer numbers than Masai Mara...time of year maybe? But, here Ziggy worked his magic and we got to see the carnivores. Here we learned to sit and wait for things to happen.
From there it was in to Ngorongoro Crater, a very interesting self contained eco system. It’s small, but you still get a good variety of wildlife, and there are forests as well as open savannah, plus the water areas.
Next stop was Tarangire. A bit more water here, chance to see elephants bathing and more animals going for drinks....could there be a lion hiding? We had our first “luxury” tented camp here, and we were spoiled indeed!
Our last Safari stop was at Amboseli, back in Kenya, where we were reunited with Bonny. It was nice that we had him for our whole Kenya trip, even if the time was divided. Amboseli is home to the elephants, and one evening we saw more than 70 making their way to the water. There’s a good sized lake here. We got very close to flamingos. You are able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro, if the clouds part. They did one morning, and it was a beautiful sight. There is also a very good chance to see hyena groups...we had only seen singles up until this park.
We had also arranged a 3 day stay at Diani Beach, near Mombasa, to relax after the Safari. It’s a nice way to finish the trip.
All in all, we were very happy with our choice. Given the panic we were in to rearrange something, it was wonderful to be accommodated in our wishes instead of us having to just settle for a Safari because we needed to. George and company gave us a great experience. Every day brought something new, just when you thought you had seen it all. George even talked with us personally a couple of times during the Safari to insure all was going well. We are very happy we decided to go with their company. It was the Right Choice.

Absolutely brilliant support & Service for my Safari and Trekking Trip in Uganda
Having travelled several times in Africa as well as many times in Asia and South/Central America, without a doubt this trip exceeded our expectations more than any and Uganda proved to be our favourite destination in Africa. The guide chosen by Peter Mwanja, Joseph, is simply the best driver/guide we have used anywhere, he worked tirelessly to get the best for us, anticipated our every need, was an excellent safe driver and managed to combine this with superb spotting (including the tree-climbing lion in Ishasha) and great knowledge. The Ugandans are incredibly friendly and there is a greater feeling of security than elsewhere in Africa.
I just returned from an incredibly moving 10-day trip to see the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda, and I found so much more than gorillas! The people, the land, the food and yes, the majestic endangered Mountain Gorillas. I decided to go with our Tour Operator with direct DMC because the Managing Director, Peter Mwanja, is a native of Uganda. supported by the team people of Uganda. After communicating my main goals to Peter Mwanja, I just let him do his thing and he did it beautifully. We were greeted, at 4:00 am, by our bright-eyed guide Morris. Not having travelled much in recent years I was somewhat nervous, and Morris instantly put me at ease. He had our plan and he executed it gracefully even when I was confused. Our accommodations were great, services were wonderful, and my only complaint is that they fed us way too much good food! Peter Mwanja managed to slide a chimpanzee habituation experience into our agenda and wow, I'm glad he did. After 4 hours with the chimps, I felt complete in my experience with them. It allowed for witnessing many aspects of their lives and since much of their time can be spent in the trees I was glad to have more time so that I got to hang with them on the ground too. The next day we were off to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see the gorillas. We had 2 days of trekking and one day of habitation. The trekking experience allowed us to spend about one hour with the gorilla family once we found them. One hour may not seem like much but the experience feels like such a gift that much to my surprise

Fantastic Self-Drive trip of Namibia!
What a wonderful and special experience - 12 friends (6 couples) planned this self-drive trip about 2 years ago and with the help of Wilddogs we had a fantastic route and lodges booked which allowed us to see a huge amount of Namibia - 10 different locations over 15 nights - more than 2000miles! We had 2 people carrier vehicles 2WD which were perfect and we loved the fact we could drive ourselves through this wonderful country. We headed south from Windhoek and stayed on the edge of the Kalahari, Fish River Canyon, Aus, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein, Etosha South and Etosha East, Okonjima. All the Lodges were lovely and everyone was so friendly and helpful wherever we went. The scenery we travelled through was stunning - long and hot dusty roads made very manageble by sharing the driving and cooler boxes in the cars (provided by Wilddogs!) It was great to have Wilddogs to manage all our bookings and expectations!

Overall Great Experience
Communications were great all the way from booking until my pick-up for the airport. The price was very competitive and I thought that the experience for being a budget safari was in line with my expectations.
While I felt like the communication from our guide could have been improved, it in no way inhibited us from seeing all that you'd expect on a safari in Kenya.
Would definitely recommend.

Experience of a Lifetime
Planning our first ever trip to South Africa, we searched for potential tour operators to help us realize our African Dream. Within 1 hour of posting our general inquiry on Saferibookings.com, Matthew had responded, and never seemed to go off-line after that. Within no time, he had put together a set of options, and had the perfect package put together for us, with 5 days Madikwe Sarafi Lodge and 4 nights More Quarters (Cape Town) with local tours.
This was only the beginning of a fantastic relationship with Matthew, who by all standards proved to be the best organizers we have had the pleasure to meet. He makes the impossible possible, and follows you up every step of your trip to make sure everything is ok and to your liking. One example worth mentioning is the evening just before dinner we contacted Matthew to check the possibility to alter our program for the next morning in Cape Town, and within no time he had organized everything (from Johannesburg) with our local Tour Operator in cape town and before dessert we had received the updated itinerary via WhatsApp. Never have we seen this kind of good service anywhere before.
Matthew Grace is THE African Safari Guru. If you ever consider to travel anywhere in Africa, he’s the man. We’ve never met anybody so dedicated to his clients, country and wildlife, and he seems to have a never ending network of people and companies to help take care of you every step of the way. It’s really a one-stop-shop for any travel and any budget-range, and he is with you all the way until you arrive back home. Even then he checks how your return trip was. Our trip was truly an Experience of a Lifetime, mainly made possible through Matthew Grace and THE African Safari Guru!

Seen amazing things in a very short timeframe
After 10 years I returned to Tanzania. I again did the route that took me from Arusha through Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti all the way to the Kenyan border.
Last time I went in May, this time in October. It was great to experience both seasons. It was way more dryer this time, which I initially didn't really like, but the sightings that we had really made up for this. I saw large herds of Wildebeest. Including over a 1000 crossing the Mara river! That was really breathtaking. I also was lucky enough to see a Lion charge at a group of Warthog and also catching one of them. Really a rare sighting! As if that was not enough, we were first to an incredible scene where a zebra was just still-born and the mother was still protecting it. After a while it left the cub/foal and the Vultures and Hyenas took over. It was really an amazing spectacle to witness.
On the side we also spotted: three baby Leopard, two Rhino, countless other Lion and a bunch of beatiful birds. Too much to mention.
The tented camps that we used in Serengeti were very authentic (Tortilis and Mbugani Migration Camp). The guides were really great as well. Very informative and very easy to communicate with. It really was a great trip made possible by Benson.
If I could mention one thing that I wouldn't do over if I would come back again, it is being in the 4x4 three days in a row, over 10 hours each day. The roads were simply too bumpy for that. We've made too much miles in too little time. I would take it a bit more easy next time.
