This safari was even better than I could have imagined!
This week I was in Tanzania and had the opportunity to visit Mikumi National Park. I booked my safari excursion through WildReality and it exceeded even my wildest expectations. It was a great value and every step of the journey was professional and well planned. The communication was always prompt and there was great attention to detail. The guide picked me up at my hotel, drove us to the park, made all the arrangements for admission and then took us all through the park for the adventure. The lunch served at the park was a wonderful spread of local foods served on an open veranda overlooking the bush – absolutely perfect! I was so impressed by both the knowledge and professionalism of my guide, Philipo. He did an exceptional job of navigating the challenging roads, all the while informing us on what we were seeing and experiencing. His knowledge extended well beyond the expected animals and he helped me spot and identify birds and insects and understand more about the beautiful country. Going on an excursion like this helps you really feel like you have experienced the country, not just visited. Returning back to the hotel, the guide stopped at one of the fruit markets. We sampled pineapple and passion fruit and it was just the perfect addition to the day.
My advise for anyone about to embark on this adventure - remember this is a wild space and not a zoo. There is no certainty to what you will see or where you will find it. That is part of the thrill and the excitement (and why you need a good guide). Trust your guide, be open and curious, and I have no doubt yours will be a fantastic experience too.

Amazing scenery, fabulous space, friendly people, a great experience
Loved the remoteness, the wild scenery, the endless space and the adventures of traveling around the country and seeing the changing environments. I would highly recommend Namibia as a destination for a self drive safari.

Magical with amazingly people and hospitality.
My experience in Uganda exceeded any expectations I had. The scenery was beautiful and varied: tranquil lakes, wild waterfalls, lush mountains with incredible vegetation and birds, dense forests and the open bush. Unbelievable sunsets and sunrises. The amount of wildlife is not as dense as other safari destinations so not a lot of big cats, however, the gorilla and chimpanzee treks make up for that. If you are a birder it is a must go. There are so many varieties and as one’s eyes adjust you begin to spot them everywhere. We went with a small local Uganda company, Azas, and Simon the owner came through on all that was promised. Our driver/guide, Allan, was one of a kind. He became like family. He made sure we were well cared for and went out of his way to accommodate us. The people of Uganda were welcoming and had such beautiful spirits. Our accommodations were amazing as was the food. I would skip the cities like Kampala and Entebbe except as a point of entry and departure. But the rest is pure magic.

Magnificent Uganda The Pearl of Africa
Through Safari booking we booked a 10-day trip to Uganda with Lulu Safari. Booking through Elvis was simple and transparent. Our guides Samuel, an excellent driver and Claudio, an excellent translator into Italian, satisfied us with all our requests and were very professional, informed about everything, plants, animals, habits and customs. Uganda has given us fabulous scenery from national parks seeing all the animals leopards lions hippos giraffes buffaloes crocodiles hyenas rhinos hundreds of types of birds. the icing on the cake was the gorilla trek that we met after three hours of walking and they were three meters away in front of us. during the journey we met several villages and were able to observe their way of life. We passed through savannahs and forests and mountains and lakes. One thing you can't forget is the smiles of the children. temperatures were pleasant in some places a little warmer in some places a little cooler with two or three afternoons of rain. we felt safe and not in danger throughout the entire trip. we are very satisfied with this trip to Uganda and recommend it to anyone with a bit of a spirit of adventure. Amazing country combining wildlife, beautiful beaches, amazing local food and the friendliest people
We adored Tanzania. First we went to Zanzibar for its beautiful beaches, for swimming, snorkelling, etc and then we travelled to Tanzania mainland. We were not travelling as an organised group, but we had arranged all details from home. We had made our research and found out that SerengetiSmiles had received very good reviews and offered us the most attractive custom-made 5 day safari in the best price among other local tour operators.
Deo, our guide and driver proved to be excellent - the best we could find. We consider ourselves very lucky to have him. Not only, did he know every species of local flora and fauna, but he also explained us many many things about their migration, reproduction, habits. Moreover he told us a lot of things about African tribes, their history, civilisation and cultural practices in perfect English. We asked him and took us to a local restaurant, even though it was New Year’ s Eve, and he wasn’t obliged to do that . I personally promise that I will go back and definitely choose the same tour operator and Deo as a guide, because there’s much more to see in Tanzania.

The chimpanzees were so close one could almost touch them. Of course we were masked up and kept a safe distance so they would not catch in human bug. We saw a very large group comprised of all ages and members. The guide was knowledgeable and knew them each by name.
