Fantastic
We really enjoyed the whole trip! We saw so many animals! This included a lot of big cats which are my favorite. All the people there were nice and the entire trip had a good vibe. The tent camps as well as the lodges were great! Clean and fantastic settings. Charles our guide from Classic Journeys was great as well. He knew the area and the animals and was always aiming to please. We had hesitated to book a trip on line and with a company not based in the US but everything went smoothly. The only thing I would change are the roads! Even the main roads are very very rutted and hard to travel. Doing it again I would fly between parks where it was feasible instead of driving. I have done both ways and flying is the way to go. I suggest going to Kenya to everyone I know. It is one of my favorite places in the world. I miss all the animals and the kind people!!!

East African Voyages - Beyond ALL Expectations
Do not choose any other African Safari tour. I cannot even begin to describe the attention to detail and accommodations that are made specifically for you with this company. My husband and I asked for an estimate for the cost of our trip, which we were very happy with. Low and behold - we were the only two people in our safari vehicle along with our guide and driver and could not have felt more accommodated and "spoiled" while on our fantastic journey. Alex and Moses made sure to ask us what the purpose of our trip was - photography - and continually asked how we were feeling about staying out longer, or heading back to our lodge, stopping for a break, lunch, etc. They were happy to join us for dinner and also were completely great about giving us our private time as well.
The coordinator for this company - Faith - cannot be praised enough. She answered quickly and thoroughly all of our many questions and emails and always went above and beyond the call of duty.
I can't even describe the top notch service and accommodations that we had while there. I recommend this company to everyone thinking about going to Africa. I know that for many, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Africa, and I would have no hesitation at all, to send them to East African Voyage. We thought that it was a once in a lifetime trip as well, but now, we cannot wait to go back.

Great First Safari on a Budget!
We had an amazing experience in the Masai Mara Park. Yet this was only due to the best guid ein the universe, Richard. He showed us the Big 5 and was such a fun guy to be around. In the end your safari will depend on the guide you're getting, so make sure to request Richard when booking!

Jaco made this the most unforgettable vacation!!!
We had a group of 6 friends exploring Panorama Route and Kruger National Park for the first time. Jaco single-handedly made this the most unforgettable vacation!
- He has an eye of an eagle, and can spot animals and birds of all sizes from really far away. Once spotted, he would stop the car and take his time telling us so many interesting facts about "our finding", addressing countless follow-up questions from us!
- Jaco is a walking encyclopedia, extremely passionate about its content! For 6 days, we were drowning him with a never-ending stream of questions, and he answered all of them.
- Jaco also made us fall in love with the bush. His passion about the nature around him and yet his humbleness and desire to always learn more is quite inspiring!
- Travelling with a local was a rewarding experience, as Jaco told us so much about South Africa in general (culture, history, daily life, etc.).
- I will never forget dinners Jaco cooked for us by the fire under the the clearest starry sky!!! He kindly let us help him prep the food, and that only added to the overall experience! The food was so delicious, and we are sure to try some of these recipes at home!
- Jaco has a great sense of humor, and over just 6 short days became more of a friend than a guide!

Unforgettable Experience: Professionalism and Availability of Tomodachi Tours and Safaris
We had a fantastic experience in Selous National Park and Zanzibar with Tomodachi Tours e Safaris.
I had a good communication with Joseph, the manager of Tomodachi, to plan our trip and meet our needs. For example, my girlfriend is vegan and had eaten without problem.
Joseph organized everything perfectly: safaris, transferts, accommodation and guided tours. We have always felt safe. Joseph and his staff were always friendly and helpful and allowed us to live an unforgettable experience.The Safari in the Selous reserve was fantastic, we have done 3 type of experiences: walking tour, safari boat and game drive, and we saw many animals.
We stayed in a lodge into the nature, near the river, where you only can hear animals sounds, like monkey and hippos.
