Excellent value experience
5/5

Overall we were really pleased with our experience with Lenchada safaris and have had a fantastic time. We chose the 6 day private tour of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, which came to around $1600 USD per person - definitely on the cheaper end of what was advertised online. This 3 location tour involves a lot of driving, but that’s unavoidable unless you pay for the safari planes and we felt it was worth it for the different experiences in the 3 parks.

Wilson, our guide, was absolutely brilliant: very knowledgeable about the parks, the animals, and the car (definitely came in handy with some of the roads!). He managed to show us everything we wanted to see, except the elusive Leopard, and found us spots to take some amazing photos. He was somehow able to put the car into the exact position that the animals would walk to every time!

It was also great to have the same person driving us for the whole tour. We felt like we got to know Wilson well over the 6 days and he became a friend as well as our guide. He looked after us really well and was very accommodating when I started the journey with a bad stomach (contracted before the safari tour).

Alex, in the booking office, was very responsive to emails and got us booked in for a pretty bespoke tour with all the accommodation we requested with about 2 weeks notice. Only required a $100 deposit.

A couple of things to note:
- if paying the full balance by card, Lenchada require a 5% surcharge. This wasn’t made clear until the night before our trip, when it was too late to pay by bank transfer (which takes 3 days to clear). This added an unexpected cost to our trip.
- the private tour vehicles are Toyota Landcruisers (which are definitely the best option for the park roads!). However ours was quite well-used. It also only had lap seatbelts. But it faired well and Wilson was an expert driver - we got around no problem.
- the accommodation matches the TripAdvisor/google reviews well. Everywhere felt clean and safe: hot water, charging points, mosquito nets and comfortable beds were always available. Amboseli Kibo camp was a particular highlight. We found things we enjoyed eating at all the stops, the picnic lunches were generous and the staff in all locations were outstanding.

Overall we had a fantastic time and couldn’t really believe that we found a 6-day, 3-location safari tour for just the two of us at that price point. Lechanda is not a super-luxury tour provider but has got all the important bits right. We felt safe, well looked-after and saw tonnes of incredible wildlife.

Perfect Rwanda/Gorilla Trip
5/5

After some research I decided on Hermosa for our Rwanda trip and I believe I made the right decision. From my first contact with them to being dropped off at the airport for our flight home Hermosa were excellent. Oreste was my first point of contact before he handed me over to senior consultant Yvonne. Yvonne responded instantly to any emails I sent and her enthusiasm was clear to see. The itinerary was fined tuned to perfection.
Just before our holiday Yvonne let me know exactly what the arrangements would be on arrival at Kigali Airport. We were met at the airport by Augustin our Guide. Straight away my wife and I felt at ease with him, we found him to be professional and knowledgeable but also a very warm hearted person who was extremely easy to get on with. He was an absolute delight.
Our trip consisted of overnight stay in Kigali, city tour, Genocide memorial then drive to Volcanoes National Park for 2 nights taking in both Gorilla and Golden Monkey Treks before returning back to Kigali for our flight home. Both treks were fantastic, far beyond our wildest dreams but the whole package was set up perfectly by Hermosa.
I would most certainly recommend Hermosa Life Tours and Travel to anyone looking for a professional company who look after you, put you at ease and have staff who are kind, caring and knowledgeable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Safari Experience!! Highly Recommended
5/5

We have no regrets booking this company. At first we were quite hesitant to book since it has very less reviews but our communication with Silas was very professional and he answers promptly to all my inquiries. I even made a joke to him if he still sleeps coz he replies to me even late at night. Everything went great during our tour, well organized from airport pick up until drop off. All the food and accommodations were beyond our expectations. Our driver Elia which we bounded during our 6 days trip was very professional and sweet. He even went out of his way to have my shoes repaired (without me asking) coz it gave up during our trek to Materoni Waterfalls hehehe. That was very, very kind of him. Highly recommended company with a reasonable price for a 6-day safari tour.

Excellent -1 recommend 100%
5/5

Recently, I undertook an extraordinary 6-day Tanzania safari with Safari Voyager, and I'm excited to share my unforgettable experience. Our guide, John, played a pivotal role in making this journey truly exceptional.

Upon our arrival in Arusha, John welcomed us with genuine warmth, instantly immersing us in the local culture and wildlife knowledge. His passion for the Tanzanian wilderness was contagious, and he tailored the itinerary to cater to our preferences and interests.

Our adventure began in Tarangire National Park, where John's expertise in navigating the park ensured a remarkable array of wildlife sightings. His impressive ability to spot animals from a distance and share captivating facts about each species enhanced the experience.

The transition from Tarangire to the Serengeti was seamless, thanks to John's impeccable driving skills and his willingness to engage in insightful conversations along the way. In the Serengeti, his in-depth knowledge of the park's various regions allowed us to witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration up close, leaving an indelible mark on my memory.

Throughout the safari, John's enthusiasm and dedication to delivering an exceptional experience were evident. He not only shared his expert knowledge but also prioritized our safety and comfort at all times. Whether arranging a picturesque picnic in the heart of the Serengeti or finding the perfect vantage point to observe a lioness and her cubs, John consistently went above and beyond to fulfill our safari dreams.

A definite highlight was our visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, where John's insights into the unique ecosystem and his ability to spot rare species like the elusive black rhino made the experience truly remarkable.

As our safari concluded with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, the gratitude for choosing Safari Voyager and having John as our guide overwhelmed us. His professionalism, extensive knowledge, and authentic passion for wildlife transformed this 6-day journey into an absolute delight.

I wholeheartedly recommend Safari Voyager and specifically John as a guide for anyone planning a Tanzanian safari. Their meticulous attention to detail, personalized service, and commitment to preserving Tanzania's natural wonders ensure a safari experience that will create lasting memories. A heartfelt thank you to Safari Voyager and, of course, to John for an extraordinary adventure!

Best 5 day safari in Tanzania!
5/5

I has an amazing experience with Suricata safari! I 100% recommend to anyone looking for their next trip. As a young female revelling solo I felt comfortable and safe in all the locations and met such good people. The price is exactly right for the service you receive. Our guide Fred was kind and knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and had an incredible eye for spotting animals. He went above and beyond for us all. The chef as well as all the staff in charge of taking care of us (shoutout to Daniel) did such a good job. For anyone thinking of camping instead of going to the inns, do it! It’s so much fun! Saw the big 5 and much more. Couldn’t have asked for a better 5 day safari!

Great safari experience
5/5

We started our 10 days safari in Entebbe. It covered all major west south national parks. First we visited Murchison falls NP which was great; specially the rhinos. We also leked the walk to the falls, but 3hours boat trip was to long. In this NP we haven’t seen as much wild life as we expected. On the other hand we loved Kibale NP, the chimpanzees tracking was great. We would absolutely recommend to do the lion experiental tour in Elizabeth NP where we saw a lot of lions and leopards from very close range. At last we went to Bwindi impenetrable NP where we had great time with mountain gorillas family in the rain forest. We were lucky with the weather and the time to find them.
Our first lodge Pakuba safari has seen better days and we don’t recommend it. The Turaco Tree Tops lodge was amazing, as well as the Haven lodge Buhoma in Bwindy.
Our tour guide Jacob was fantastic and very knowledgeable, gave us profound picture of this part of Uganda, including local habits, the way of life…

Serengeti Smile are an efficient, friendly, reliable safari/beach tour operator.
5/5

I hadn't heard of Serengeti Smile before, contacting them after chancing across their website while googling safari/beach holidays in Tanzania. From the very first contact with them, Serengeti Smile were superb. Their communications to put together an itinerary for us were excellent, both by WhatsApp and email. The confirmation details were thorough and detailed. Many thanks to Erick in the Serengeti Smile office for all his courteous, prompt replies to my queries!

The whole experience of the trip went incredibly smoothly, from the pick-up at Kilimanjaro Airport right through to the transfer to Arusha Airport for our flight to Zanzibar for a beach break to follow the Safari. Our driver/guide for the 5-day safari was Champion and my wife and I both thought he was brilliant. His driving was excellent, his knowledge of the safari sites, the animals and plants we saw was great, and he was really good company. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five plus so many other special creatures - zebras, wildebeest migrating, giraffes, hippos, cheetahs, hyenas, antelopes, baboons, jackals and many, many more. It was all unforgettable. Thank you, Champion! The hotel/lodge accommodation was all of a very good standard and we saw lots of the Tanzanian countryside and culture - including a trip to bush tribes.

We recommend Serengeti Smile unreservedly - we had an amazing time and the whole package was superb value.

Nelson made our families Safari very special!
5/5

Our Friendship Safari experience was excellent with Nelson as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the parks we toured in Tanzania. He was patient and kind with our two children and helped them to learn about the animals and plants in the region. He was an excellent driver, and the vehicle was clean and ready for us on time every day of our tour. I would highly recommend this company, they had excellent communication and made us feel welcome in the wild!
