Trip of a lifetime , affordable , safe and secure.
Communications was 100%. Jaqueline was always available for us, almost 24hrs a day. With us living in the U.S. the time zones are different , so whenever we had a question or request and her replies came in, in LESS THAN 24 hrs. And we went back and forth on a few things regarding our trip. Reason cause our itinerary included before and after.
We highly recommend Bushtroop Safarii and Jaqueline and Team

Safari Adventure of a Lifetime!
My husband and I went on a 9-day safari organized by Bright African Safaris in mid-August 2018, and it truly was the trip of a lifetime! In the initial research stage, Salim was great with communicating options and creating possible itineraries for us to consider. We were originally planning a shorter trip, but ended up extending by a few days. We absolutely loved the itinerary Salim put together. We started with a walking tour in Arusha National Park, then Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Central Seregeti, Northern Serengeti and finally, Ngorongoro Crater. We were lucky to have Malisa as our guide/driver the whole trip. He is a walking, talking encyclopedia of wildlife! Truly a great person and we felt so lucky to share his company for nine days. We felt safe throughout the trip, even around the lions, elephants and other large animals. Malisa tooks us on more scenic routes when possible and always checked in to make sure we were comfortable during long drives. He has such a great eye for spotting wildlife, some of which I had to use binoculars to see! Highlights included watching the great migration in Northern Serengeti (especially watching the wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River), watching a mama lion take down a wildebeest and share the bounty with her cubs, watching a leopard come down from a tree to protect his freshly killed prey (an eland), watching zebras in a tussle and sleeping in migration camps in the middle of the Serengeti. We heard lions, zebras and wildebeest outside of our tent and it felt rather surreal to be there. We chose the mid-range option in terms of accommodations and were very happy with all the hotels, lodges and tented camps booked for us by Salim. We were so impressed that the tented camps had running hot water, electricity and very comfortable furniture (including real mattresses and comfy bedding), which was like living in the lap of luxury after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro the week before. I would highly recommend Bright African Safaris for anyone looking for a local, well-organized, high quality safari in Tanzania. We would choose them again in a heart beat!

Wonderful experience with opportunities to experience the bush on foot.
I only visited for one day, but everything that I experienced was fantastic. I enjoyed the lower numbers of people around, so that the interaction with wildlife was more serene.

Truly a one of kind, amazing experience!
It’s winter in July so it’s a little cool in the early mornings. However, the wildlife is amazing. It’s very scenic and we have a great tour guide with Deep Forest Safaris. Samuel and his team provided a one of kind experience. We always felt comfortable, safe and in good company. Truly recommend Kenya for safari and DFS!! Thank you

Wonderful experience!
My husband and I celebrated our tenth anniversary by taking a trip to Tanzania, and we used Duma Explorer to set up our trip. What a great decision that was! I contacted several other operators and I’m sure they’re fine, but we selected Duma because they asked a lot of questions about what we wanted, answered endless questions of mine, and really seemed to get what we were looking for.
I wanted to make sure that we had a combination of activities while we were there – not just being in a vehicle all the time – and Duma made sure that we had exactly that. We had several cultural activities and hikes through our two weeks in Tanzania, and the combination was just perfect.
We started our trip by spending a couple nights in Machame at a lodge that Duma recommended that had a great view of Kilimanjaro. One of the things we wanted to do was to see if we could do some charity work, and Duma recommended the website packforapurpose.org. Through that site we were able to find an orphanage in Moshi, and we spent an afternoon delivering toys and clothes that we’d brought over. It was a great way to start the trip!
The next day our guide picked us up, and we started our safari adventure – two nights in Tarangire, two nights in Lake Natron, three nights in northern Serengeti, two nights in central Serengeti, two nights at the Ngorongoro Crater and one night at Lake Eyasi.
I’ve heard that your guide can make or break your trip, and our guide, Isack Msuya, definitely made it! He was nothing short of phenomenal. It was clear from how other guides interacted with him that he is widely respected. He understands animal behavior so well – we were able to get some terrific pictures because he could predict what the animals were going to do. I have some terrific yawning lion pictures as a result, not to mention a rhino mating, and more! We saw everything that we hoped to see and so much more.
To give you an idea of how awesome Isack is, I’ll share my favourite Isack story. We were coming back to our lodge after hiking Empakai Crater, and stopped at the Ngorongoro Crater over look. There were a lot of vehicles there – probably about 20 – and all the people (and guides) were there taking pictures. Some of them had been in the Crater, and were saying that they hadn’t seen a rhinoceros that day. While we were taking pictures, Isack comes up with his binoculars and says, “Do you see the three rhinos down on the crater floor?”. Sure enough they were there – and no one else had spotted them! Needless to say, Isack made a lot of people happy that day.
A review of Duma isn’t complete without mentioning the Duma camps – Kichuguu, Kiota and Chaka. We stayed in all three, and all three are terrific. They all have their own charms, and there would be no question as to where we would stay when we return to Tanzania. A very nice thoughtful touch was one night when we were at Chaka Camp, the staff baked us a cake, and then came and sang to us since we were celebrating our anniversary.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary, and Duma made it all easy and such as fun experience.

Victoria Falls Tours
I found this company off their website, the package I choose was truly fantastic. Their guide went out of his way to make my travels exciting and made me feel very welcome.
Try every experience this company offers and if you are a true foodie, try the wonderful seven course meal at Victoria Falls hotel with the wines, well recommend it.

The five star reviews are well deserved.
From the initial online contact, evening flight arrival to the tour that followed, every detail was looked after and Home To Africa provided the African experience I was hoping for. Derrick was my guide and he is an enthusiastic wildlife expert who is determined to show you as many creatures as possible and we covered a lot of ground and had a lot of laughs. Visited five national parks, the rhino sanctuary and the Entebbe botanical gardens on Lake Victoria. A few of the lodges were actually luxurious and the settings are tremendous. Endless vistas and rare animals abound.

Tanzania a trip of a lifetime. APS the Company and the People that ensure this is true.
We began the search for our African Adventure by browsing the wonderful website of Safari Bookings.
Thanks Safari Bookings for such a great resource.
Our "once in a lifetime" safari holiday to Tanzania started the moment we contacted African Paradise Safaris (APS). John Peter gave exceptional help and advice as we put together our trip, with his help we were able to customize our holiday so that it was the right fit for our party of 4. After best part of a year in planning and numerous enjoyable emails back and forth with John Peter, it was a little disappointing to realise we would not meet this man who had put together a fantastic itinerary for us.
Thanks Heaps John Peter.
We were met a Kilimanjaro airport by our driver / guide David. A better guide we couldn't have hoped for. His passion, care & knowledge for the wildlife - his "eagle eye" for spotting animals hidden to our inexpert eye - his personality and sense of humour and his attention to all the little details of our trip meant we had a safari experience way beyond our expectations. A very special man.
Thanks Heaps David....
And last a MASSIVE thank you to the most amazing animals for just being you...
