It was a last minute short trip to Nanyuki and Clifton who is always a star managed to sort everything out.
The rooms booked for my family and l had the best mountain view.It was my husband’s first time at the Fairmount Mount Kenya and he loved it especially our rooms which came with a breathtaking Mountain View.
I can’t forget to show my deepest appreciation to our driver John he was the best.He explained so much to us about the animals during our Olpajeta safari and we got to learn something new about our animals. He’s sharp,organized,patient,good communicator and most of all a good driver.Thank you John for being the best Safari driver.
Clifton we are definitely having him on our next safari trip.

Memories of a life time
The tour was well organized, we travelled in very well conditions ( Car was confortable , hotels were well chosen for the standards we asked for )
Our guide Benjamin did a wonderful job by driving all day on rough roads , excellent on spotting animals , he managed to show us all the animals and knew everything about it )
We would recommend to travel with them to our friends and relatives.

I enjoyed the transfers, from the airstrip to the hotel and back. The transfers were timely and swift. The food at the Baobab Beach Resort was amazing. I loved the ambience of the hotel. It was scintillating.

Amazing experience
Positive remarks:
- Incredible experience, 7 days was a good time
- We saw 4 of the big five
- We saw a lot of different African animals from so close, we could nearly touch them
- We saw a lot of different types of birds
- As a budget safari, the accomodations were quite good
- All the people we've met are very nice and helpful
- The parks we visited were very different from eachother, it is really worth it to go to the different ones
Negative remarks:
- Our guide was not really interested in the animals. We had more a driver than a guide, we hadn't a lot of information and some were even false.
- Some activities needed additional fees (Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate, Masaï Village)
- Masaï Village in Masaï Mara is not worth it, it is a tourist trap
As a conclusion, we ended the safari with stars in the eyes and dark rings under them.

Best experience with Suricata safari
Everything was perfect, the meals were high above our expectations (3x hot meals), camping is fun surrounded with wild animals. Max was the best tour guide from Suricata Safari!

Extremely satisfying trip, happy people in Uganda very welcoming.
We are 2 couples and we did a great 11-day safari in Uganda & Rwanda - both countries are amazingly beautiful and are a real gem for any traveller! Kitagata Safaris organized it very well and the price was competitive too. Our guide/driver Darius was 10/10 - professional, knowledgeable and a very nice person, we enjoyed every single day we spent with him. Communication with Cedrick from the main office was also very good, he was very flexible with all the requested changes. We strongly recommend Kitagata Safaris!

You want the Zambia experience book Lochinvar Safaris!
If you want to see the real Zambia go with Lochinvar Safaris! We travelled with Mark from Lusaka to Livingstone , with 4 people in a jeep. He gave us a lot of information and history of Zambia, really interesting! We saw the real life of the Zambian people. We ate with our hands in local restaurants. Every day we had a briefing over the next day, the time schedule is flexible. Dutch people are more strickt, I guess. The lodge we sleep in Livingstone was standard, the beds are short, but okay. It was clean but nog very fancy or luxury. We made some tours, really like the boat safari! We had one day of and Mark booked for us rafting at the Zambezi, great experience!!! If you want to see the big 5, or other wild animals, you go to Botswana at your free day. I’ve heard that’s really cool! The little park in Livingstone you can see the rhinos. I’ve had a very good time and one day I hope to see Zambia again!

Don’t hesitate, book with Wakanda!
We booked our safari through Wakanda after a lot of extensive research and it was the best thing we could have done!!! If you are thinking about booking Wakanda, don’t hesitate, just book! Wakanda are an amazing, reputable, fully licensed company and will go out of their way to give you the best experience.
You will also be supporting a local Tanzanian run company in Arusha with incredibly dedicated staff.
Wakanda were absolutely amazing from the word go! They couldn’t do enough for us. We dealt with Ushma at the booking office and she helped us create our incredible itinerary and was on hand to answer our many questions! Nothing was too much trouble, she was so helpful and friendly!
Our safari was out of this world - we honestly had one of the best experiences of our lives and saw an incredible amount of wildlife! Our guide Andrew was an absolute legend! He was so experienced, knowledgable and taught us so much about the parks, the wildlife and the Tanzanian and Maasai culture. He shared so many stories with us and we really felt like we gained a true friend. He is such a kind, caring man and nothing was too much trouble. He really went out of his way to make sure we had incredible animal sightings and experiences and wanted to give us the best experience possible! His eyesight was incredible as he would spot things so far away, things we would never have seen otherwise. Andrew worked tirelessly on our trip to make sure we saw the big 5, which we did! We felt incredible safe with Andrew whilst travelling through Tanzania, a country we had not visited before and we were fell in love with the country. It truly is a special place.
The trucks are awesome and kitted out with everything you need with plenty of drinks etc. Communication was absolutely fantastic. The lunch is amazing, they are one of the only companies to offer full hot meals everyday and you eat like a king!!!
If you are looking for a safari company, do book Wakanda. We highly recommend them and do ask if at all possible to have Andrew as your guide. You will have an incredible time and a trip of a lifetime. What’s more, you’ll be supporting a local company run by truly dedicated staff.

BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
The trip was personalized and the organization was amazing. Pick up and drop off were perfectly on time. Clifton, the Operations Director made follow up calls and ensured I had arrived and checked in for my vacation to Saltlick Safari Lodge and Taita Hills Safari Resort.
He recommended places to visit like the Museum, game drives and activities and they were all enjoyable.
