Fantastic safari
Our guide Rocky (unsure about spelling) was absolutely incredible, it was really noticeable that he knew all the places one might want to see, both in the parks and during the journeys in between. We saw 4/5 of the big 5, including a large number of lions right next to our van and a rhinoceros at relatively close range (about 100m). All accommodations were of high quality (we had the lodge option), especially Suricata Boma Lodge but all accommodations were very good. Suricata's own chef Mouza (?) cooked very tasty lunches every day. Highly recommend!

Amazing Trip with a wonderful Safari Guide and a very helpful tour company ( Motto tours)
Thank you again for all your help and assistance in arranging our family trip to Kenya. It was an amazing trip, and my husband relived his childhood memories. All your recommendations on where to stay were spot on, and also, the guidance in building the safari week was much appreciated, followed by a lovely relaxing week on the lake. Your quick response to my many questions was second to none.
our Safari Guide, was outstanding. A lovely, humble man who was so informative and helped us search out all the wildlife and more. He is a credit to your company, and we would most certainly recommend him to other guests looking for a wonderful safari guide.
Thank you once again for everything. It was a holiday of once in a lifetime!

Wonderfully informative and fun!
I went on the Moafrika Pilanesberg tour and happened to get a very hot day, meaning that the big cats and other animals were hiding. Despite this, our guide did such a good job finding interesting things to tell and show us, and was in a great mood and approachable.
All the other staff was great and very friendly.

Unforgettable Safari Experience
This was my first safari. I chose the 4 day safari through Masai Mara Reserve, Lake Naivasha, and Nakuru National Park in Kenya. I was on a tight budget and this one was reasonably priced. I was prepared for some roughing it due to the price. Dennoh (Dennis) was my local guide. He was an outstanding guide. He was very knowledgeable about the animals, their habitats, the Masai Mara culture, the Kenyan culture and an all around intelligent, trustworthy, dependable, kind person. And trust me...you want someone like this when you are going into the natural habitat of lions, leopards, elephants, etc.. He seemed to respect that we were in the natural habitat of these animals but at the same time went above and beyond to try to give us an unforgettable experience to see the big 5 animals and many many more, including birds, lizards, etc.. I can't name them all but we saw lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, hyenas, hippos, rhinos, jackals, ostriches, wildebeests, buffalo, crocodiles, impalas, baboons, monkeys, water bucks, flamingos, storks, herons, pelicans, eagles, etc.. all in their natural habitat. The photos I was able to take were incredible. The animals didn't seem to be bothered by us because there is so much space for them to roam around in there and so much respect from the guides. The guides seem to all work as a team to help each other in there, especially Dennis. He was zipping from one area of the park to the next when he heard on the radio there was a big 5 animal spotted somewhere. And Dennis stopped to help two vehicles that were stuck in the mud inside the Masai Mara reserve. Another advantage of having Dennis as your guide - he didn't get stuck in the mud once because he's an outstanding driver that knew his safari vehicle very well and kept it very well maintained.
There actually wasn't much roughing it. There was a lot of driving to get to the three different places but the food was amazing and the accommodations were fine. The first two nights were in tents beside Masai Mara Reserve. The tents were very comfortable with full size beds and a washroom with shower in each. The tent structures were solid with concrete floors and tent walls/roofs that were in good condition. There was a communal tent where a hot breakfast and dinner was served each day. There was a long line of phones charging in this tent while we ate our meals because it had lots of plugs and we used up our batteries taking so many incredible photos each day. The third night was in a luxury hotel near Nakuru National Park and on our way to this hotel Dennis gave us the option of a boat tour around Lake Naivasha where we saw more wildlife, especially hippos that were common there. This final hotel had a swimming pool, fitness room, lounge, and tavern. A delicious dinner and breakfast was served here before our final tour of Nakuru National Park. The tour of Nakuru National Park was only a half day, which was enough, and we stopped and had another delicious late afternoon lunch/dinner on the way back to Nairobi.
You won't find a better safari experience anywhere. You may pay more to have more luxury but in my opinion this was the best balance between luxury and price, and having the chance to spend time with such a good man and excellent Kenyan guide Dennis meant so much more to me than luxury. It's funny because I was hoping to meet new friends on this tour that I would keep in touch with back home but to be honest it's Dennis I will miss the most. I hope he keeps in touch and we stay friends. Thank you so much Dennis. I will never forget this.

Fantastic
Had a fantastic safari with our family. The driver/guide Charles is the most experienced guide you should have, together with the chef Emanuel who always surprises you with the delicious food. nothing is too much for them and we have seen the most special animals up close. So we can only say if you go on safari you should go to Crater Explorers.

Thorough, knowledgeable and engaging
The tour organised for us was everything we hoped for and more. Speke were very flexible to late changes and produced an itinerary that matched our needs. Our guide Julius enhanced the experience adjusting the programme to enhance the experience. We felt we were treated royally with extra surprises like sundowners, welcoming rooms and massages. Julius also introduced us to the culture and answered our many questions. He also ensured we had the best guides for individual activities. In summary our trip was marvellous

They are very dedicated and provide an excellent service and bring unforgettable memories.
We had amazing time on our trip! Everything was perfect - the lodge, the food (hats off to the head chef) and of course all the game drives!
The only thing we wish was to have a bit more time in the Blyde River Canyon. Our driver gave us only 20 minutes to admire the magnificent view.
