Nick was an excellent guide, with lots of local knowledge. He is a great people person!
I had an excellent 5 day experience with Nick which worked out incredibly well from the first moment on. I trusted Nick to take the lead and had previously only mentioned my interest in visiting the gorillas. Through discussing with Nick I learnt of how incredible the pearl of Africa really is and realised that I needed to do at least a five day trip to make the most of my time in Uganda.
I felt safe with Nick as soon as I entered the car and he took great control of the journey. The camping was more luxurious than I imagined and I even had a shower which comes out of the back of the van!
I am sure I brought the luck of the Irish on the trip as I had close encounters with lots of animals including the tree climbing lion and shoe bill bird. The highlight of my trip was the visit to Kasenyi fishing village where during our camping we came in contact with a school of 14 hippos and a family of 6 elephants around our campsite! I would definitely recommend Nick as a guide and I hope to do another tour with him soon!

The safari was excellent with a very friendly and attentive human team at all times
Quality price Very good and would repeat with the same company for sure. We were a group of 9 friends and we all have the same opinion. In addition, the flight company lost our bags for a few days and they helped us

Customer Obsessed and excellent attention to detail!
We recently returned from an incredible safari adventure in Kenya, and I can't praise Africa Barefoot Safaris enough for the exceptional experience they provided. Special thanks to Prajwal for expertly planning our itinerary and to our guide Patrick for bringing the magic of Africa to life.
From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in good hands. The attention to detail and knowledge of the terrain were impressive, and the passion for wildlife and conservation was palpable.
Kenya, you have our hearts! The majestic landscapes, vibrant culture, and of course, the incredible wildlife, left us all in awe. Witnessing the Big Five in their natural habitat was a thrill we'll never forget.
Thanks again to Africa Barefoot Safaris for creating a journey that exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return and explore more of what Africa has to offer!

Efficient all areas were completed as per itinerary
We did a four week African safari tour including south Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia,Kenya and Tanzania. The arrangements were all met as per itinerary.
The safaris were extensive and met all our expectations. The lodges chosen by untamed safaris were of high quality and provided friendly service of a high standard.
I would recommend untamed safaris as an organisation that went above and beyond to ensure we had a quality holiday.

Great experience!!!
We booked 5-day safari drive with Porcupine in Tanzania. We had an amazing experience in the wild. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Highlands and the Crater. The wildlife throughout the trip was explendid.
In our trip, Anna was so friendly and helpful through the whole planning process. She gave different recommendations and was always available for questions. Arriving in Arusha and being took cared by Anna felt like we were visiting a friend in Tanzania. Her daughter and all the staff at the hotel and restaurant were so nice. Our guide Bakari was so helpful. We really felt like we had the greatest experience in our life.

Experience the breath of the wild on the African savannah,it is worth it!
We had a group of four people, two men and two women, and spent seven days and six nights on our safari, mainly visiting Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Bogoria, and Masai Mara. Overall, the safari experience was great; we saw many animals, and our guide, Caleb, was enthusiastic, humorous, and very attentive. Whenever we encountered animals we wanted to see, he would stop and let us observe before moving on. He also introduced us to a lot of knowledge about wildlife, local customs, and was also good at finding suitable parking spots in crowded areas so we could get a good view of the animals.
On our way to Masai Mara, we passed by Caleb's hometown, and he invited us as guests to his family home. We felt the warmth of his family, which was an unexpected surprise in our itinerary. The four of us in one Land Cruiser felt very comfortable, with charging facilities available, and the open roof allowed us to view the animals without obstruction or feeling cramped.
The accommodation varied in quality but was generally acceptable. The best place we stayed was Bogoria Green Resort at Lake Bogoria. The food provided every day was good, mostly buffet style. We also paid extra for a balloon safari experience, getting up at 3 AM, but it was worth it.
As we were on a pravite tour, our guide Caleb would discuss the next day's itinerary with us at the end of everyday safari and helped us avoid city protests. The only day we spent almost entirely in the car was the long journey from Lake Bogoria to Masai Mara. Other than that, we had daily activities at sightseeing spots.
Overall, the experience was great. We spent 1.5 days in Amboseli watching elephants and leopards, 0.5 days at Lake Naivasha taking a boat ride and interacting with animals up close on the island, and 0.5 days at Lake Bogoria primarily observing flocks of flamingos, which was spectacular. In Masai Mara, we spent a full day seeing lions, crocodiles, wildebeest herds and so many other animals, and experienced a memorable hot air balloon safari on the last morning. The memories were unforgettable and truly worth it. And the cost is 1960 USD per person in the high season, balloon safari fee not included.
