They did not show up
1/5

Booked a Chobe Safari with them and exchanged lots of emails beforehand but then they simply did not show up at the agreed time. The entire day was lost as obviously it was not possible to find anyone else.

Gave us a great tour of Kruger and the Panorama route
4/5

Picked us up at the airport on time and drove us to Kruger and our accommodation for 2 nights at Sabie River bush lodge. Great location right next to Kruger where Hippos would play right in front of lodge. The lodge was fine, the food was less than acceptable. served child portions with old food at times. We saw big 5 2 times on our tour of Kruger. great experience. Then they drove us up to Panorama route and showed us all the cool sites up there with Gods window, waterfalls and Blyde river canyon. Drove us back to airport on a really bad road. driver would go so fast and then slow down really quickly for 3 hours, made my wife sick from the driving so erratic. We are happy with our tour and tour operator. I would recommend this tour for anybody who wants to be taken care of for the tour of Kruger.

Everything was perfect
5/5

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the entire team at Kimgoni agency for making our four-day safari in Tanzania so memorable. In particular, I want to sincerely thank Edgar and Peter for their outstanding dedication and care throughout our journey. Their expertise, passion for nature, and willingness to share their knowledge greatly enriched our experience. Their hospitality and constant availability made every moment spent with them a true pleasure.

I also want to commend the hotel staff for their warm welcome and their constant concern for our comfort. Their professionalism and kindness contributed to creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, where we felt at home after a day of adventure.

Thank you to the entire Kimgoni team for exceeding our expectations and for making this safari as magical as possible. It was an experience we will always cherish and recommend to anyone looking for an authentic adventure in Tanzania.

4 days Masai Mara
5/5

Ordinarily, I’m not the person to do reviews coz I like to keep my travels private, however, I was impressed by this tour agency. Though slightly young in business, they made my whole stay in Kenya a worth while experience. I was particularly impressed by how agile and innovative the tour guide was. I love the African Savannah and the expansive Masai Mara came in handy. I saw all the animals in proximity, our driver was really a genius, I have been on a safari before and I know its not easy coming in close contact with many animals, I must credit the team that was taking us around and I recommend everyone looking for adventure in Africa to consider doing it with ThinkScene Safaris

Excellent!! Highly recommend
5/5

Our recent experience with Safari Soles on a combined 3-day safari and 8-day trek on Mt Kilimanjaro exceeded all expectations. The journey began with a delightful stay at the Arusha Farm House, where the hospitality was unmatched. Geoffrey Samwel, the receptionist, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, while Happy and Witness in the dining services accommodated my nut allergy, providing delicious and safe meal options throughout our stay.

Our transfer drivers, including Baltaza, Rafael, and William, were great. They provided an stress-free transition between the airport, hotel, and various adventure points. The safari, led by our knowledgeable driver Izak, was a highlight. His expertise in navigating the best spots for wildlife viewing and his insightful answers to our questions enriched our experience. The lodge accommodation, integrated with the local Masai tribe, offered a unique cultural immersion, highlighting the authenticity of our safari adventure. We saw thousands of animals in migration and the big five, up close with lions walking up to our jeep.

Undoubtedly, the best part of our trip was the trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro. Our chief guide (Antipas) and assistant guide (Emanuel) were seasoned mountaineers, who provided a top notch experience. Their professionalism, combined with a strong understanding of the mountain and its cultural significance, provided a safe and enriching experience. The porter team, led by a skilled chef who catered to my dietary restrictions with exceptional care, contributed significantly to our ability to summit. They ensured our food and utilities were hygienic and our belongings were safe and undamaged. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were commendable.

The sense of community fostered by the guides and porters with fellow climbers created a vibrant, social atmosphere at the camps, making our experience even more enjoyable.

As experienced climbers, my father and I appreciated the team's ability to tailor the pace to our skill level, allowing for an optimal climbing experience. For safety precautions, Antipas and Emanuel would temper our pace when needed but also push us when facing challenging aspects of the trek. It is no wonder they have such a high success rate in summiting! The views on the summit were breathtaking and our team took every opportunity to take pictures of us and explain the ecosystems and nuances of the mountain.

In conclusion, Safari Soles delivered an exceptional adventure, with professional service, cultural immersion, and attention to health and safety. I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking an unforgettable African safari and climbing experience regardless of experience level.

Simon was great!
4/5

I found cuckoo safaris during my research when starting to plan this trip. They were super responsive and accommodating to making changes in the itinerary that we wanted. I think it’s important to know that cuckoo is not with you the entire time they have partners in different countries such as Botswana. I had no idea that we would be passed off to some other company so it was a bit nerve racking when you are not familiar with the country. We were with cuckoo for 6 nights and 7 days and here are our pros and cons. Pros: everyone is on time for pick ups and drops off, the variety of activities provided is a great mix, AC vehicles for long drives or transfers, bottled water is supplied daily, the price was within our budget compared to different operators, the game drives are very long days but you get to see all the animals which is a very unique experience. Cons: all the hotels except the one we stayed at in Victoria falls were just okay (even with researching prior they were rated 4 and up on Google but just didn’t really fit/meet our expectations) good thing is you can ask for a higher tier, and biggest CON was the food was absolutely terrible. On long game drives they pack you a lunch but it’s a boiled egg, some deli sandwich and randoms snacks that have been sitting in a open door SUV from 5am in the morning not refrigerated or the drivers have food like rice and a meat just chilling in the trunk for long periods of time. You feel bad saying no thank you because these people are working incredible hard but I do not trust food that requires refrigeration at home to just be in the back seat of a car when it’s 100 degrees. I would highly advise bringing a bunch of protein bars, jerky and snacks to get you thru the day. Even at some hotels the breakfast buffets had under cooked eggs or meat or flies swarming a huge bowl of yogurt. I find it better to not have open food buffets in areas with lots of insects.
We did have a good experience and very glad we saw Zimbabwe and Botswana but with the amount of money you pay you would hope that there would be better food during long days. But unfortunately the food goes across the board for many tour operators as you see several different companies throughout your trip.

Well organized, experienced and professional tour provider
5/5

We have planned a 5 day expedition starting from Nairobi and ending at Mombasa. Our tour was well planned and organized throughout the stay. The communication with the team prior to the start of the tour was reliable and the driver, Stephan, was well spoken, professional, always on time, and provided a lot of insights during the expedition. Overall, we had a great time and much satisfied with their service. Look out of them and their great service.
