Southern Africa Adventure
We had an idea around a a southern African adventure. Cuan helped turn that into reality with superb locations across Botswana and Zambia. The wildlife we saw was amazing as were the lodges. Service was brilliant. The while trip ran really smoothly other than Qantas who lost some bags when we returned home. they arrived 48 hour later. Happy to recommend Ubuntu. Will be using again when we next do an Africa Adventure.

AVOID MOONSTROLL VANTAGE. Our family had a poor experience.
From the beginning the Moonstroll communication was poor so I wish I had cancelled. We did a 5-day, 4-night camping safari but cut it short by a day and asked them to just take us to Chobe to a hotel.
We had a late start in the morning, no breakfast at the Staymore Hotel which was booked through Moonstroll and a freezing cold ride with no blankets in safari truck. No lunch that day except for what we had purchased.
The worst part was no satellite phone for the guide (who was excellent and tried to manage Moonstroll’s sloppy planning )our truck with supplies, tents, food, etc. broke
down and we had no way of knowing where they were. We were at a campsite in Savuti with nothing , just by a fire until our guide found another camp for us and we felt like refugees. The sun was setting. We had just spotted a leopard and there I was, a grandma with my family and my dream Safari a nightmare. They did finally show up and set things up quickly but the horrible
insecurity made me sick. We had to loan money to the guide for some fees, very unprofessional. Moonstroll had not told our guide we had paid for Mekoro canoe trip and he had to hastily fit it in, and it was also done as the sun was setting.
Fortunately we did have an excellent guide who did his best and tried to make us feel secure but being in the bush like this, even for a short time, was horrible. The food was great and the tents, etc very nice.
I did send an email to Monametsi after the safari several times and got no response. As I said, do not use this company and I wonder if safaribookings even vets the companies they recommend. This was my fifth safari and I wanted to have an unforgettable outing, paid for by me. My family could not believe I chose Moonstroll. Thankful for Gibson, our wonderful guide who was very stressed out.

An Amazing experience of NOTE!! WOW, WOW, WOW !!
Where do I start? We stayed at the Maun Cresta hotel. stunning verby !! comfortable rooms and friendly staff. the food was excellent!! Yum yum.
Mark was our tour guide and what a nice guy. he fetched us at 07:10 the Sunday morning. We were running late and he was patiently waiting for us. The drive to the Okavango was an epic one. A cold morning, but Mark made sure we were covered by providing us with blankets to keep us warm.
When we got there, it was a picture perfect setting!! Our guide on the Delta was Matthew. a great guy, very knowledgeable, and well spoken. the weather was perfect.
OMW what an experience on a Mokoro. it felt so save and so relaxing. the ladies that steered the canoe did it with so much grace and style. loved every minute of it !! we got to see Hippo's, elephants, giraffe's, some beautiful birdlife and flowers. all of this was the highlight of my trip. I was on the Okavango Delta with a Mokoro!! say what??? YES, with a Mokoro, can you believe it ! an experience of a lifetime. Memories for LIFE!!

We toured Chobe, Victoria Falls and went on a Game Drive in Stanley Livingston - Amazing!
Tongesai was absolutely fantastic. Every step of the tour he built for us worked like clockwork. Seriously...he picked us up from the airport, handled every small element of the trip and was an utmost professional. I had never booked a trip from overseas, and I was skeptical of putting my trust in someone so far away. Tongesai was the right choice, and I can't tell you how much I would recommend him to any others.

Amazing Safari Adventure!!
My safari with Albert and Richard went completely above my expectations!! We saw the most amazing wildlife including 4 of the big 5 and had so much fun doing it. Food and accommodations were also better than expected! Wish I had them for the last day of my safari as well! Five stars!!

A delightful, well organised trip with attention to detail at all levels
Our trip to Africa with Ubuntu Safaris was amongst the most enjoyable we have experienced. From the initial meeting with Cuan, to the excellent documentation that gave accurate detail of what we could expect, to the actual trip itself, all was professionally organised and seamless.
The communications related to costs, travel arrangements and camps were all as advertised. All border crossings were smoothly negotiated and plenty of personal time was available over and above the morning and evening safari outings.
The relationship between African Ubuntu Safaris and staff at the various camps was relaxed, friendly and helpful. Overall, the trip more than lived up to our expectations.
We have no reservations in warmly recommending African Ubuntu Safaris. Go Ubuntu!

Worst experience
I found them on google search and thought that the reviews were good. Proceeded on to book and pay because they seemed trustworthy. About three days later, I tried contacting them but no one was answering. I tried everything I could but still nothing. So, I decided to file a complaint with my bank and went with another agency. I would never recommend it to anyone. Either they plan who to con once in a while, or this is a scam. Don’t fall for it. Worst experience ever.

The best vacation trip of our lives.
The entire experience, from the planning to the safari itself, was outstanding and well beyond our expectations. Prior to the trip, Brenda was always available to discuss options and to provide answers to all the questions we had. We felt very well prepared and were glad we could customize the trip and do exactly what we wanted to do. We were not limited to pre-packaged itinerary. The trip itself was spectacular, for which most of the credit goes to Leslie, our wonderful guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, helpful, kind, easy going and fun to be with. Also, his eyesight was unbelievable. Each of the parks - Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Tarangire - was special in its own way. We saw an amazing assortment of animals and birds, often so close-up we could have touched them. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean and the staffs were friendly and helpful; we never felt like we were "roughing it." All in all a first class trip that we will never forget.

Unforgettable Experience!!!!!
My husband and I have been dreaming about Africa for as long as we can remember. Early in our dating days we both laughed that Africa would be the perfect honeymoon destination. Well, as we got married last year we had to make it happen. Gift was fabulous in helping us put together an amazing trip with a combination of luxury and real people experience. We wanted to go canoeing, check! Meet locals – both bushpeople and everyday people, check! We wanted some adventure, check! We wanted luxury, check! And we wanted to see some animals, triple check! Our guide was Albert and he was a total rock star! He was very flexible taking us where we wanted to go (and when!), made us feel extremely safe and helped us find animals everywhere we went – even a cheetah as it ran across our path and a leopard in a tree munching on a zebra! The accommodations were really nice, but not too fancy which let it fit within our budget. We haven’t stopped telling our friends and family about this trip and look forward to planning our next one – vacation, not honeymoon!

Family Safari Experience
Wayfairer Travel planned an amazing trip for a family which lived to our every expectation and more. The lodges we stayed in were superbly located and Excellently appointed. The views from Rhino Ridge were incredible, giving tempting glimpses of the safaris awaiting. Thonga Beach Lodge is located on an incredible Indian Ocean beach which stretched for miles and often was deserted.
Menus were varied and imaginative. The policies employed by the Lodges to employ staff from local villages is very beneficial to the communities and it was enriching to meet local people.
