Simply the best.
5/5

My wife and I could not have had a better experience with African Big Cats Safaris. Our honeymoon was unforgettable, and I am so grateful that we ended up choosing this tour operator.

Planning: Justice and Naomi helped me customize the itinerary, provided helpful suggestions to accommodate our needs, and communicated clearly throughout the process.
Arrival and Pre-Safari: Upon arrival, we were greeted by our guide, Obed, outside the airport and taken to Arusha. The next morning, Emanuel gave us a briefing on what to expect and answered all of our questions.
Safari: Obed was an incredible guide--I cannot speak highly enough of him. Despite some less than ideal road conditions in the parks, we trusted him completely to get us where we needed to go safely. We really appreciated his fun and insightful comments between destinations, as well as the information he provided to us about the animals. I truly could not have imagined a better guide. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti. Each was great, but Ngorongoro was a can't miss.
Lodgings: Our lodgings (Melia Arusha, Maramboi Tented Lodge, and Lion's Paw) were each unique and amazing, truly world-class.
Zanzibar: We chose the Zanzibar add-on as part of our honeymoon, and we stayed at the Melia Zanzibar. Getting to Zanzibar from the Serengeti had only one slight delay at the airport but otherwise went very smoothly. Upon arrival, we did the Stone Town tour, which I would highly recommend. The hotel itself was fantastic and relaxing--exactly what we wanted after the game drives.

Notes: I was slightly nervous about transferring out money to a Tanzanian bank account, but it ended up being no problem at all. I also was slightly nervous about not receiving hotel or travel confirmations, but everything went smoothly.

Charles was the most amazing tour guide. Not only knowledge but a great driver on the busy roads.
5/5

The most epic experiences of my life. This was a bucket list trip already but it far surpassed my expectations. We saw every animal even the ones like cheetahs who are always hidden. Our guide Charles knew every detail you could think of and could spot things from miles away. He would always get the best positions and allow us to take pictures that could be on national geographic, I would come back in a heartbeat. The food, the stay, the arrangements were so smooth. We even got to go on hot air balloon to Kilimanjaro! Will never forget this trip. Also made some great friends in the group!

Excellent customer service
5/5

We just returned from a fantastic trip to Kenya and Tanzania. We are so happy with Amazing Memories. We communicated with them via email many times before the trip and they were very responsive and helpful. All of the arrangements they made during our trip were great from the driver/guides, accommodations along the way and hotel in Nairobi before and after the trip. We would like to visit Africa again and will use Amazing Memories to arrange our next adventure. We won't soon forget waking up at night to the sound of lions roaring, hyenas yipping and hippos grunting.
Eleven days was a busy itinerary but our drivers/guides were very happy to be flexible about our daily schedule (what time in the morning/afternoon we would do the game drives, how long we would be out, etc.). A couple of the days, driving between parks, were very long. It was hot and dusty and the dirt roads were very bumpy. It was described as an African massage. The beauty of the African landscape and the amazing number and variety of animals made up for those long days.

African Big Cats were fantastic and could not have done more to make our holiday the best ever.
5/5

African Big Cats Safaris were excellent from start to finish. The booking process went smoothly and they made some adjustments to our trip without any issue.

Our guide, Lordlugard, was just brilliant. He was knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and environment, and a mine of information about the local tribes and cultures. He had knack of knowing when something was about to happen, be it waiting for a little longer than all of the other jeeps and being rewarded with a lion hunt, or finding the exact place to park when a herd of elephants was about to cross a road. He's also a really nice guy :-)

We had a 2 week trip and every day was a highlight. Not just the stunning nature reserves, but also the cultural experiences like making arrows with the Hadzabe tribe or spear throwing and dancing (not at the same time) with the Maasai. We saw all of the big 5 and many more. Listening to a leopard prowling around our tent was something that we won't forget.

We had very high expectations of this holiday and these were exceeded by African Big Cats. Truly the experience of a lifetime.

We did a 4 day safari, and Mujuni Adventures was a pleasure to deal with, the planning, communication, the guide, and more. They went above and beyond every step of the way. I would highly recommend.

Outstanding
5/5

What a trip of a lifetime, our guide Ali was beyond knowledgeable about every single animal we saw including birds, reptiles, and mammals. We were provided delicious meals, amazing lodges to sleep, and the amount of hospitality was fantastic.

Ali was able to find the famous 5, we had one that was hard to get, but Ali succeeded on our last day, spotting 5 rhinos. We stopped and had lunch in the Serengeti and had some of the local tribe children come up, we saw all the amazing animals.

I can’t say enough good things, we were so well taken care of and saw more than we could have imagined. It was a trip of a lifetime.

5/5

We visited Cape Town which I refer to as “the California of Africa” we stayed in Sea Point, Stellenbosch and Camps Bay. Camps bay was absolutely gorgeous! Very similar to Laguna Beach Ca. We then flew to Hudspruit to the Elephant Plains Lodge and WOW!! Our safari accommodations were superb and our trek guide Chris and Nic were great! When they tell you your guide makes the difference !!! It’s 100 true!! Chris and Nic were able to trek the BIG 5 in one drive on our second day it was a very rare and special day!!! Nic even had his shaved in honor of such an accomplishment!! Africa is truly magical and South Africa will always have a piece of my heart! Thank you

Great Safari and Guides!
Overall rating
5/5

We had a group of 14 and had an amazing experience. Our drivers were professional from the pick up until the drop off. They found 4 of the 5 Big 5 for us and were able to get us amazing views. We had a great experience from my first inquiry to the very end. We did more of a mid-level expense and the resort meant expectation, the staff was great, food was good, and the lodging was very comfortable.

About: Namibia
Namibia was one of the most enchanting, fascinating, and beautiful countries I've ever been to!
Overall rating
5/5

My recent trip to Namibia was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I set foot in this captivating country, I was greeted by a landscape that seemed to stretch endlessly, offering a mesmerizing blend of natural wonders and cultural richness.

One of the highlights of my journey was the opportunity to witness Africa's magnificent wildlife in its natural habitat. Guided by the knowledgeable and charismatic Rudolf, every excursion into the wilderness felt like a chapter from a wildlife documentary come to life. From majestic lions prowling the savannah to graceful giraffes and elephants roaming the plains, every encounter left me in awe of the sheer diversity and beauty of Namibia's fauna.

The dunes of Sossusvlei painted a surreal picture against the canvas of the desert, while the rugged terrain of Damaraland offered a glimpse into the ancient history of this land. Whether it was the ethereal beauty of the Skeleton Coast or the serene tranquility of Etosha National Park, Namibia's landscapes never ceased to amaze me.

And then there were the sunsets! Words fail to capture the sheer magic of watching the sky set ablaze in a symphony of colors as the sun dipped below the horizon. Each evening felt like a celebration of nature's artistry

But perhaps the true gem of my Namibian adventure was my guide, Rudolf. His passion for his homeland was infectious, his knowledge boundless, and his commitment to ensuring an unforgettable experience for his guests unwavering. From sharing fascinating insights into Namibia's history and culture to regaling us with tales of his own adventures in the wilderness, Rudolf was more than just a guide – he was a friend, a mentor, and a source of endless inspiration.

I carry with me memories that will last a lifetime – memories of Africa's wildlife, its landscapes, its sunsets, and the remarkable people like Rudolf who make Namibia truly special.
