Amazing safari experience
5/5

We recently embarked on a remarkable 4-day safari in Tanzania with a tour company that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I booked, the destination specialist ensured a seamless experience tailored to my preferences. Our guide, David, was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about the wildlife and landscapes we encountered in Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater. The accommodations provided were nothing short of perfect, offering comfort and immersion in the stunning surroundings. Overall, this safari was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, thanks to the expertise and attention to detail of the tour company and the exceptional guidance of David. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an unforgettable wildlife experience in Tanzania.

Great Safari Tour Operator
5/5

I went on a 6-day safari with Tall Masai and it was really great, we were able to see the big 5 as well as many other animals.
Miti Mingi and Nyati Safari Camp were great accomodations. Citymax was average but still fine for its purpose.
Masai Mara, lake Nakuru and Amboseli were really amazing, but Lake Naivasha was not as exciting (if you have to leave one destination out, it would definitely be Naivasha for me).

Benson from Tall Masai was always responsive and willing to help.
Overall, definitely recommended!

A convincing safari tour
5/5

I'll leave it to other reviews about my thoughts on how I was able to meet various animals. What I can say about it is that there is a reasonable reason for the price that is never cheap, which is acceptable to me. And the criteria I chose for the tour were the quality of the guides and the number of reviews. I've given it 5 stars, so I don't think I should bother to say it. Thank you so much, Amir!

Adventure of a lifetime
5/5

Absolutely brilliant. IFS took care of literally everything including airport transfer. Fiona is with you every step of the way before, during and after your safari making sure no problems occur. Not to mention she's an absolute delight herself! Ever so professional and dedicated to ensuring your trip is nothing short of perfect, she genuinely cares about her clients and it shows. Well worth every single penny spent. Don't think twice, book it. Thank me later.

Perfect organization, thousands of animals and great camps
5/5

The safari tour was well organized and everything works out very well. We saw loads of animals like giraffe, elephant, lion, cheetah, hyena, hippo, antilope, buffalo, gazelle, flamingo, zebra, wildebeest, impala, dik-dik and even rhinos. Lots of birds too. And even more animals.
The meals and breakfast were always pretty good and almost everytime a 3-course-menue. The camps were fine too, especially the second one was awesome. The ranger always tried hard to find the best spots and best positions for taking pictures and all the other staff did a really good job making great memories for us.

The tour operator was very professional and attentive to our requests. Amazing organizers!
5/5

The tour was incredibly well organized , maximizing each day to the fullest. They also ensured we could see as many experiences as possible, despite the long distances to reach the diverse natural attractions. The package was very convenient and we feel we saw so much in such short time span

Lazy, looking for money and poor in service.

I'm very sorry for the people who work for this company, but I can't recommend the company that was responsible for my climbing at all, but I can't recommend the people who work closely with you or accompany you. But you can also find them everywhere else and you can also hire Angelo privately, for example. I can only warmly recommend him and his team, but you've already read that. So if you are interested, I would be happy to put you in touch.😊 But Nelson, who I have corresponded with and who owns this company, was a horror. Zero information and quite long response times. Some answers didn't even arrive after several reminders. The information that followed was also inadequate. For example, I asked him what utensils I needed, since I'm a complete layman. He wrote to me that I didn't have to worry about anything or any utensils. Everything would be there. I don't have to worry. But he didn't say that I had to pay for the missing utensils. I ended up paying an additional $90 and in the end I feel let down. What about people who are on a tighter budget? He also didn't write down what the preparation should look like. The person who does this for the first time, like me, is left alone. Sure, you can read up on the internet, but every company does it differently. There is no sensible information on his website either. I'm very sorry, but I had to get this out of the way, also for the people who might be interested in climbing Mount Kili or doing something similar. I also booked the safari through Nelson and it was also designed to spend as little money as possible. Several groups who had booked different things were put in one car, which is fine in itself. You got to know more people and the stories behind them, but the implementation was horror and the performance didn't live up to the promise or the program. For example, we each had much shorter safari times. You left at just the wrong times. And meals were designed differently and even skipped. And since I have already completed two safaris, I can easily compare. And the comparison is very negative. He also failed to mention that bed and breakfast worth $20 each was included before the respective venture. So I didn't use this service, which is almost fine for me, but I just think paying $40 for the transfers is unfair and not right. I'm very sorry, but in the end it's more important to me that, should you ever do this, you are as informed as possible.

A local that knows its country and provides you the best experience you can ask for. Special.
5/5

I asked several companies, they have a very good price. The quality was over expectations. The car extremely comfortable, the guide super polite, speaks english perfectly, knows the area and is local to where i went. I had the privilege to see his village and be toured by a local kid that wants to become a guide. Joan even did an extra hour trying to find more elephants, and he did find them!
I did the gorilla in buindi, a must do. The game drive in queen Elisabeth was also amazing as we were able to spot lions, buffalos, hippos, dozens of diferent birds and elephants. The boat tour is also super beautiful, elephants bathing! The chimpaze tracking was challenging as we couldn’t find them, then we were surprised with more than ten on the floor just chilling next to us! A must do :)

Great tour for low budget travelers
5/5

We were picked up at our hotel (Protea Marriott Courtyard - highly recommended!) early in the morning by our guide, William, and made our way to Mikumi in time for a good lunch and a great afternoon tour of the park. William was very accommodating and answered our endless questions without hesitation and with great knowledge. He knew the animals and their habits well, including the ages of baby hippos and elephants, one of which he watched being birthed. He is a capable and careful driver on the busy paved roads leading to the park, as well as the dirt tracks in the park.

We were offered the opportunity to change our accommodations and opted to stay in the park to allow for late sunset and early sunrise drives. This allowed us to see the last of a group of lions finishing the remains of a night-time zebra kill before joining her group under a tree, satiated and exhausted. We were all amazed that these powerful beasts were unfazed by our vehicles as we watched. The park rangers carefully managed the observation. The only down side was the hoped-for air conditioned rooms were already filled by the time we arrived at the park, so we stayed in a lodge with fans and screens instead. But the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was great, catering to the tastes of international visitors.
