Malaki is the “real deal”. Maasai, born living his life on this land. Spectacular guide!
A trip of a lifetime! We wanted a wildlife safari trip and experienced all that and even more. Malaki‘s intimate knowledge of the land, starting in childhood as a Maasai pastoralist in the Ngorongoro region gave him first-hand knowledge of every living thing throughout Tanzania. Later in life, he sought higher education that earned him certificates in guiding, tourism and all wildlife knowledge. We went on a private, two person moderately Price trip, which was more “bang for our buck” than we ever dreamed of. He is well-known in the circle of guides and in affluent Safari camps (based on confirmation of previous employers.)
I promise you will not be disappointed. Malaki will do whatever it takes to ensure your trip is your dream a lifetime.

Great Value and wonderful service
Morris was fantastic right away. Most operators will test you to see what you are willing to pay. He was fair and honest and the service he provided was second to none. I did try a few other operators that a good friend suggested and the were overpriced and the accommodations were second rate. Morris was fair and provided exactly what we wanted and nothing we didn’t. It’s important that you communicate exactly what you want ahead of time so he knows your expectations. I’ll use him again and I’ll recommend him to anyone. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Peter was professional, very friendly and knowledgeable about the bush
Tales of Tanzania made our honeymoon perfect! Pendo was very helpful from our initial email until the very end where we got to meet her and she refunded us cash that I had accidentally overpaid for the trip. Very sweet lady and coworkers, very ethical.
We had the pleasure of having Peter as our guide and spotter! Peter was so friendly, fun, and profession! Peter was ready at the airport to pick us up outside of customs. Peter took us from the airport to Arusha where we had lunch, food was solid! We went to Manyara after that and saw the lake, baboons, elephants, zebras and giraffe. We stayed at the farm of dreams which was very nice and spacious and beautiful lodge. Peter had the lodging staff set up our bed to have “happy honeymoon” written with flower pedals for each night which was quite sweet to come home to at the end of the day. The second day we went to Tarangire National Park where we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards and buffalo. We went on the night safari which was really cool even though we did not see any big cats, it was quite an experience to see the animals at night and a little intense as you could only see what was lit up. On the third day we drove from Tarangire to Ndutu which was the most beautiful drive. On the way all the children that are farming wave to you. Peter took us a different way than the other drivers which took us through the beautiful forest I’ll post below. Peter had timed out the sunset perfectly. We were driving the Serengeti plains which were like out of a movie and as we got to our lodging. It was probably when of the most unforgettable moments of of our lives. Right after the sunset we still to drive and Peter spotted a leopard in a tree about a hundred yards away while driving. We could see the leopards shadow. Peter has a serious eagle eye. We stayed at the Heritage Luxury Tents two nights where the staff played music and were very friendly. The tent was in the bush so we could hear the buffalo and hyenas at night. On the fourth day we saw lions mating, cheetahs, elephants, giraffe, hippo and the beautiful Serengeti plains. We returned to camp and Peter had set up a separate tent for us to have dinner in for the evening. On the fifth day we drove to the crater which was unbelievably beautiful and massive. Peter took us through the park where we saw six rhino, lions, buffalo, elephant, and flamingos. We stayed at the Ngorongoro Forest Lodge where we had a very spacious and beautiful room. The food was delicious and the staff was great as usual. Peter drove us back to Arusha where we met and danced with the Maasai tribe and saw their home. It was very special and we were not expecting it. Peter then took us to the airport which was a bit bittersweet moment as we had gained a friend in Tanzania and had to say goodbye. Peter will definitely be our tour guide for our next safari with our children. Peter is so professional and I don’t think there is anything he does not know about Tanzania and the bush. He has an unbelievable eye. He is polite, funny, smart, and fun! Thank you so much Peter and Tales of Tanzania for making our trip unforgettable!

Very unpleasant experience - I was charged twice for the trip
I used this company for a gorilla trip for myself and two members of my family.
I put a downpayment of $1966 in September using Pesapal, and then a week before the safari I wired $1890 to the company's bank account.
The company took us on the trip, which was fine, but they claimed that they hadn't received that last payment; on the last day, before agreeing to take us back to Kampala they forced me to pay $1890 by credit card, with the promise that the money would be refunded once the wire occurred.
Once back home I obtained all the necessary document from my bank proving that the money had indeed been transferred, but never heard back from Primate Safaris and never got the refund...
This is clearly extortion - I would not have written such a review if I had seen an attempt on their part to fix the situation with their bank

Unforgettable experience
We initially booked a safari tour with Focus in Africa, but were redirected to Simba Adventure, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
As part of a budget-friendly 3-day tour to Serengeti and Ngorogoro, we shared the experience with another couple. Our guide, Sadi, was not only very knowledgeable but also super attentive and funny, which immediately put us at ease. Thanks to him, we managed to see even the animals that are hard to trace this time of the year🔍. In addition, we were spoiled by Moody, who we came to consider the best cook in Tanzania, and possibly whole East Africa 🙌🏾.
We shared this experience with a wonderful Spanish couple that we met on the first day, and together we created wonderful memories. One such memory included the surprise visit of some buffalo to our tents in the middle of the night at Simba Campsite.
We highly recommened this tour operator!
Sadi & Moody, thank you for everything!

Top class and well organised
Had an amazing experience and Sunworld Safaris did a fantastic job helping us enjoy the whole week. We had a first class service from start to finish and our guide/driver (Mwashi) was a wealth of knowledge and patience throughout. The consultant team at Sunworld were responsive to all our demands and requests and laid out a practical itinerary that ticked all the boxes. Will be using them again when we come back and have already started recommending them to our contacts.

Amazing
We went on a group tour with two other couples. Such an amazing experience, and better than we could have imagined!! Moshi made great meals every day and Patrick took us on the best game drives. We felt taken care of through the whole trip. We will definitely use Meru Slopes for our next safari and hopefully get to go on our safari with Patrick and Moshi again.

Ramja is very responsive and will go the extra mile to make your trip special
My wife and I chose a tour package from Ramja Safaris as part of our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision! Our guide was great, the accommodations were fantastic and there were nice surprises for us to mark our honeymoon, and everything went smoothly.

Great trip on Mount Meru
I can recommend going with Serengeti Landmark Tours, everything was very well organized, from the airport transport to the hotel and the trip itself. I did three days on Mount Meru and it was an amazing experience, would definitely do it again.
