Excellent coordination and prompt service
5/5

We were six of together, and one was our contact person but we were all in the loop of each communication. I observed that Megan and Alice were excellent in prompt communication, and provided us all the necessary information. Our safari experience was beyond our expectations.
Excellent job.

Amazing safari to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli
5/5

We had a great time with Heritage of African Jungles on our 7-day safari to Masai Mara (3 nights), Nakuru (1 night), Naivasha (1 night) and Amboseli (2 nights) in October 2019. It was very easy to organise the trip with Naomi, who always responded promptly and was open about all the costs. The camps that Naomi suggested for our price range all turned out be excellent and in fact exceeded our expectations. She was also flexible and happy to customise our itinerary - as we planned to go to Mombasa after visiting Amboseli, she bought train tickets for us from Emali to Mombasa and organised transport for us from the train station in Mombasa to our hotel in the city centre.

Our guide at the safari, Peter, was always in a good mood and keen to share his knowledge about wildlife and more generally about Kenya. He was always early and patient with us (we took a lot of pictures!), and made a lot of effort to make sure that we had good sightings of animals (and Kilimanjaro in Amboseli). With Peter as our guide we felt that everything has been taken care of and that there is nothing we should worry about. He did this until the very end of our trip, making sure that we made it through security at the train station in Emali.

We managed to see each of the Big Five animals multiple times (lions, elephants and buffalos in Masai Mara and Amboseli, leopards in Masai Mara, and rhinos in Lake Nakuru). We were very lucky to be able to watch a leopard walking for about half an hour in Masai Mara. Other highlights include seeing lion cubs, a small giraffe that was less than one week old and a group of five cheetah brothers in Masai Mara, a large group of elephants in the Mara River, seven rhinos (including a small one) in Lake Nakuru and elephants in front of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli.  We also enjoyed the boat trip on Lake Naivasha and walking among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and impalas on the Crescent Island.

Before the safari, we also went on a day trip around Nairobi (to David Sheldrick elephant orphanage, Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen's house) with Francis, which we also enjoyed very much. After the trip, we asked him for restaurant recommendations and the place he suggested turned out to be exactly what we wanted (very good and not too expensive food).

We highly recommend Heritage of African Jungles and will definitely book a safari with them the next time we come to Kenya! Asante sana!

Unbelievable! The Trip Of A Lifetime! Everything was first class!
5/5

Capetown was beautiful, the tours and food excellent! When the airline, (Air Canada), totally screwed us for a day of vacation, Chris rearranged everything so we didn’t miss one minute of the best tours. Safari was awesome and humbling, seeing the big five every day. The comfort on safari was unsurpassed! Victoria Falls passed my expectations, especially enjoying a five star dinner and having a hippo wander out of the river to dine with us!

Gorilla Trek
4/5

We booked our trip through Intrepid Tours, and we had such a lovely time. We were able to experience the cultrure a bit and see another side to life. We had a lovely tour guide with us who always kept us informed of what was to come, and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and stopped to allow me to take photos along the side of the roads when needed.
We had a great experience with the Gorillas, a moment we'll never forget.

Thank you very much Hannington for a great experience and life long memories.

Book with these guys.
5/5

Our expectations were consistently exceeded every step of the way, culminating in a truly spectacular safari experience that I would recommend to anyone.

Bartho is a cool guy and his team are all fantastic. Our guide, Simba, really worked hard to make sure we had a great experience, several times flooring it to see something that cars behind missed. He gave us background on what we were seeing, including some of the conservation efforts and work that goes on to keep the parks alive. The chef (cook is not the appropriate word), went far beyond our expectations. While sitting in the campsites, other groups could be observed eating sliced bread and simple stews. We were feasting on freshly baked breads and pastries, elaborate soups, perfectly roasted chicken, etc.

There seem to be a lot of operators at this price range, but I cant imagine any are as good as these guys.

What women can do
5/5

I have consulted several travel agencies, personally in Italy and on the web sites, and for the offer of itineraries and stays Lady Guide Safaris is really a good agency. From the first page the website looks nice and easy to consult. The site offers proposals with intelligent and practical indications, obviously the price, but then place and time of departure and return, what the offer includes and what is not included, the description of each day of the holiday. But what leads me to praise Lady Guide Safaris is the excellent idea of offering female tour operators particularly important for women who travel. The environmental and cultural characteristics of Uganda and Rwanda are such that for a traveling woman, be it an African woman, but also an oriental woman, but also a European or American woman, it is very important to be able to count on sensitivity, intuition, trust, on the attention that female guides can offer in addition, and not only for women who travel, but also for men who want a more sensitive and kind welcome. For the trip I want to make in Uganda, I turned to Lady Guide Safaris and I can confirm that as a customer I am receiving personalized, attentive, caring and efficient treatment.

Reliable, well organised and thoroughly enjoyable adventure.
4/5

Communications prior to our arrival were good, with clear instructions. Our driver was punctual, spoke good English and really looked after our needs for our 5 days around Lake Manyaro, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. He did his absolute best to make sure we saw as many of the animals and the big 5 as possible. We only missed out on the rhino, which is pretty rare, but lots of people fail to see that one. The other animals we saw were up close and plentiful, it was unbelievable. The hotels were all good and the camp on the Serengeti is something we will never forget, for all the right reasons. The jeep was a little old and had seen better days, but it was unstoppable and reliable and it's age kind of added to the adventure. I would confidently recommend Kiliholidays as well organised and very good value for money.
