Magnificent Safari Trips organised by Makasa
Our group consisted of 2 grand parents with their 2 sons and 4 of their grand children.
Our 5 day trip was very well organised. From picking up at Kilimanjaro airport upto Arusha airport for our flight to Dar Es Salam. Well equiped lodges. Good meals.
We had a first class guide, Ali. He drove carefully. He showed us all we wanted to see during 3 full day safari trips. He gave us exlanations about what we saw. Told us about group behaviour of the various animals. We saw for instance how elderly elephants protected their young ones when a jackal tried to attack a young elephant. Even when a lion walked slowly to our car. He came up to 1 meter!
The three full day trips were very different. The Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The last was by far the most impressive. A very big and flat crater area with many herds of animals. Our driver brought us to this herds. He had a lot of experience and sharp eyes. So we could see everything from nearby.
By the way we would not have been missed the other trips. The lake and the hills gave us a complete impresssion about wild life in Tanzania.
We are still very thankfull to our guide Ali. With all his experience he showed us so much.
We had a splendid safari holiday!! It was very additional to earlear made trips to Kafue National Park and the Zambesi River at Zambia.

Absolutely fantastic experience. I would say "once in a lifetime", but I hope it won't be!
Our week-long mobile tented safari from Kasane to Maun with Walking Stick was one of the best things my fiancée and I have ever done. Phillimon 'Leopard King' Kamogelo is the best guide in Botswana - the other guides were always asking him for tips and the other travellers were clearly jealous. We had unbelievably intimate contact with almost all the wildlife one could wish to see, including hippos roaring, lions mating and several encounters with leopards, the last one a breathtaking, half-hour-long show with us in the very front row! Photos, the camp manager, made sure that our tent was comfortable and the bathing water was always warm...and then there was the food. We could not believe the delicious meals that Joe, the cook, was able to whip up over an open fire. We ate like kings the whole week! We couldn't recommend Walking Stick more highly. Stop thinking about it and just do it. You won't regret it. And we'll be back.
Love from Loki & Viri.

Outstanding Service
I took an off season 3 day safari to Masai Mara with Baraka Amani and the experience was outstanding. Mike the driver guide was very knowledgeable in wildlife and was very patient too. We saw lots of wildlife including the big five in a single day of the three day holiday. I would recommend Baraka Amani Holidays anytime. Great work.

Unforgettable Safari - Can't wait to come back
A group of three of us went on a four day tour to Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Nestor! He was incredibly accommodating with our tight travel schedule and went above and beyond to help us have the best possible park experience. Communication was easy via Whatsapp, and we were able to process payment online prior to the trip as well. We booked relatively last minute (3-4 days prior to departure).
In terms of the tour, we spent two full days/nights in Serengeti and one full day/night in Ngorongoro Crater. The vehicle was very comfortable and with just three of us we had plenty of space to sit or stand unimpeded. Safety came first, and Nestor was very respectful of the animals with his driving. Nestor and our chef Com were fun to chat with, very knowledgable, and obviously enjoy their jobs. Camping was made easy as they set up and struck down camp with each move. The meals were filling and delicious - we were never hungry! We especially enjoyed hot breakfasts each morning and delicious soups to start dinner in the evenings.
Over the course of the trip we saw between 45 and 50 big cats including lions with cubs, cheetahs, and a leopard! Nestor had a canny sense for where to find the wildlife. We made it into Ngorongoro crater early on our last day and were treated with a nearby encounter with a rhino. The elephants, giraffes, and seeing the Great Migration were big highlights as well.
Overall I highly recommend taking a tour with this company. After speaking with others who went on safari the same weekend as we did, it seemed like we saw the most of anyone. I will be providing this contact information to my friends and family and hope to return myself someday!

Good experience with many kinds of wild lives
I took 4 days safari in Masai Mara NR and Lake Nakuru.
It was good experience as we could see many kinds of animals such as lions, elephant, giraffes, cheetahs and rhinos and so on. As our guide was very good at finding animals, we could see many kind of animals. I appreciate that.
We came back to Nairobi from Safari tour a day before our departure day.
Though our first plan did not include accommodation in Nairobi for the previous night of departure day, the guy from Trip Advisor arranged one night accommodation and airport transfer. It was very helpful.
One thing I would like to point out that during the safari tour exact plan was not clear for me.
Though I received a plan by email sent by Trip Advisor, it was not exact same to actual travel.
I would like to say that if someone had given us explanation about our journey before the tour, it would have been better.
However I am quite satisfied with our travel.
I can say that if you are thinking about going to safari in Kenya, Trip Advisor is good option.

The experience is Indeed the Excellent experience
I cannot recommend Hekima Safaris enough. Not only are the guides so friendly, radically knowledgable and kind, they are extremely professional . The cooker Markus is beyond expectations, super creative and always trying to do his best to show Tanzanian cuisines from its best side.
Additionally, we had so much fun singing and dancing with Hekima family before and after safaris! Their concern didnt end with safari service but they took care about us all our stay in Arusha .
When you starts to plan thing too far in advance, sometimes the actual event falls short of your expectations and becomes a disappointment. I am so happy to report this was not the case with the safari we just completed wit HEKIMA SAFARIS as it far exceeded all of our expectations! Our planning began over year ago and HEKIMA SAFARIS was there every step of the way, promptly responding to inquiries and helping with creating our own plan. I researched safari companies thoroughly. Hekima was one of the least expensive options we found and after reading reviews we chose them. There was nothing cheap about the quality of the service, food or accomodations; all were top shelf if not down right luxurious. Our guide was a pleasure to be with for the time. He had a keen eye and sharp wit and continuously worked to keep us informed and happy. A safari is a big investment in time and money. You can't do better than Hekima Safaris I believe . We are so happy we chose them - what more could you ask for?
They have great social media as well, their Instagram account is woooo - guys kip the spirit alive :)

Great safari with Ezekiel!
Paul, the manager, helped us very well from the start to make a tailor-made journey. He was very helpful and responded quickly.
We had the pleasure of experiencing a 6-day safari with Ezekiel, our very friendly guide. We did Lake Manyara, 2 days Serengeti, 2 days Ngorongoro and Tarangire. He gave a lot of information about the different national parks, the animals and the culture. All very interesting .. He succeeded in showing us the big five. Nothing was too much for him. Ezekiel answered all our questions and stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo. He also gave a briefing every day so we knew what to expect. Very professional in short.
We want to thank them very much for this experience.
We advise everyone to travel to Tanzania with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions!

Personalized, excellent, knowledgeable
Anya Visser planned an unforgettable 2.5 week trip for our first time visit to South Africa. Her knowledge and choices were exactly to our liking. We spent three nights at Phinda Forest Lodge and had amazing encounters with cheetah, lions, rhino, elephant, hippo's, monkeys, giraffe, zebra and many more on our safari drives.....thanks to our wonderful guides , Damen and Musi. Our drive on the Garden Route offered spectacular scenery and tours of the Cape Winelands and Cape Town were exceptional with Granwell of Paradise tours as our guide. We did not want to leave and found all suggestions to be perfect and HIGHLY recommend Pembury and Anya for a South African adventure.
