The safari was fantastic...Kruger park is just amazing. Our guide, Harvey, was really good one and good person, fun, patient open- minded. Great moment in the bush. We saw the big five, a one time life expérience.
Then we continue to Joahnesbourg, we was at Sandton and we have opportunity to visit some historical sites and Soweto, very difficult moments (a lot of emotion) but good to do

We went north from Johannesburg to Mbombela and did a panorama tour then had a couple of fabulous days at Umkumbe Safari Lodge.
The animal viewing was wonderful. Especially seeing leopard.

It’s a beautiful country with amazing sceneries, but they remember a lot of the south of Europe.
Wildlife is unbeatable, just amazing.

Decent experience in case you have adequate expectations. Some people were disappointed as they expected to see all animals but that was not the case for everyone

My experience in South Africa was fantastic, from the booking with Viva Safari, the flights, to our stay at Tremisana Lodge. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Patrícia Landau, who was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions about the lodge and everything the safari had to offer. I would also like to express my gratitude to the entire Tremisana Safari team. We were warmly welcomed, and everyone went above and beyond to make our safari unforgettable. We were able to see all the Big 5, and despite the intense heat, the experience was truly incredible!

We had an amazing couple of days in Kruger National Park which was one of many highlights of our incredible 10 days in South Africa. Great food, drink, climate, scenery, hospitality and people.

The Western Cape is my happy place

The Western Cape has só much to offer.
I love the mountains, the coastal drive from Gordons Bay to Hermanus and beyond.
The fynbos is breathtakingly beautiful.
The hospitality industry offers a varied selection of cuisine. And if you veer a little off the beaten track, you find traditional cuisine of a high quality.
The wineries, local weekend festivals, the unspoiled west coast north of Cape Town, mountain passes, farm stalls, the wild flowers in early spring, hikes - I get so excited about it all.

The experience was really wonderful. I would recommend for guided tours for both cities and safari. It is the safest way to travel. I would not recommend to travel without a guide as some areas are not safe such as Johannesburg and parts of Capetown. It isn't worth it to risk your safety. You will also see more and when you are traveling such a long distance it is definitely worth it

We visited Cape Town first and stayed close to the new V&A development. Lots to see and do and lots of restaurants with superb mall. Moved to Hermanus and watched the whales frolicking in the sea just off the shoreline. No boat trip required. Then off to Kruger National Park. Private reserve in north of park called TOMORROW. Fantastic experience. Only 8 individual luxury units so only 2 tour cars. They share safaris with neighbouring private reserves and they all radio each other to get everyone the best experience. Our guide Gareth was unbelievable. He was friendly knowledgeable and spotted a lioness in the dark at over 30m away. How? No idea!! We saw all of the top 5 except Rhino. We saw a pride of lions just after they had hunted down a buffalo. Leopard being chased by a lioness who just climbed to the very top of the tree until she gave up. Gin and tonic out in the bush at sundown perfect. Food was gourmet level. Staff were outstanding. Thoroughly recommend this reserve for

We stayed 3 days 2 nights which was enough perhaps because Gareth enabled us to see the elephants leopards buffalo lions and cubs giraffes jackals hippos impala’s masses of different bird species and most importantly we did not have to queue at any time to watch the animals in their natural environment. Gareth was also very mindful of the environment we were in and took care not to intrude on the animals
