Trek days start clear and warm, with clouds and cooler temperatures by midday and cold nights at altitude, often below 0°C. Vegetation changes with height, from forest and bamboo to moorland, alpine plants, and dry high-altitude zones. The scenic Chogoria Route offers excellent acclimatization and is often combined with a Sirimon descent.
