A scenic 5-day Kilimanjaro trek via the Rongai Route starts at Nalemoru Gate and passes through remote wilderness to Simba Camp, Third Cave, and Kibo Hut. The summit push begins at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), then descends via Horombo to Marangu Gate. This route offers gradual acclimatization, fewer crowds, and stunning views from the northern side of the mountain.
