This itinerary is a classic and incredibly rewarding Northern Tanzania circuit. It swaps Lake Manyara for Tarangire National Park, a excellent decision for those seeking immense elephant herds and a more rugged, baobab-studded landscape. The journey continues through the critical Serengeti ecosystem (Ndutu Plains), and culminates in the Ngorongoro Crater. It uses public campsites for a rustic experience, notably the upgrade to a camp in the Serengeti.
