Wildlife was phantastic, especially the trecking to the Shimpanse and Gorillas. Also the
uge amouint of different birds we have seen.
The whole country of Uganda we found very green and fruitfull. People were frindly and
always helpfull. Food was nice, transportation comfortable and the roads ars as they are.
Our guide could not be better and also the weather was very good.
Special thanks for the last dinner under the sky of Africa.

Uganda tourism suffers i suspect from the Idi Amin legacy with a reputation for danger it no longer deserves. I was there for two weeks and felt entirely safe the entire time. Interestingly Kenya gets the lions share of tourists (pun intended) but is not a partiuclary safe place. Right now I'd be avoiding Kenya and taking the far safer option of Uganda. Wonderful country, wonderful friendly people. It is green beyond belief. Can highly recommned the four to five day hike to Mt Elgon National Park to reach the summit as well. another well managed and spectacular place.

A great destination even more if it is your first trip to Africa. It is a very beautiful country, people are extremely friendly and it is a very safe destination. Most parks are easy of access and you are certain to see wild life

Uganda, the real pearl of Africa

Uganda is the best African country we did. The wildlife is very diversified.
The birds are beautiful and we had the chance to spot the magnificent shoebill.
We did spot many species of kingfishers (Woodland, Pied, Malachite, Giant kingfisher).
The most emotional moments we shared in company of the mountain gorilla's nearby Lake Mutanda.
We spend a lot of time with them and we could make beautiful portraits of them!
In Bwindi NP, we spend 3 nights in a basic tented camp, completely lost in the rainforest. Unforgettable!
We met also lots of kids there, and we really were touched by their presence and kindness!
If you ever plan to visit Uganda, do not hesitate, you will be surprised by his beauty (better than Kenya).

Such beautiful scenery with terraced fields on all hills and in Murchison Falls and QE National Parks, a wealth of game. Very friendly people and lovely lodges in scenic surrounds. Few other tourists so got very private views of the game

The people of Uganda are very friendly and welcoming of visitors to their country. Come here primarily for the gorillas trekking, but keep in mind that you can also have a traditional safari experience in the same trip. The game viewing is not as good, but combined with the gorilla trekking, Uganda becomes a top destination.

I was very impressed with Uganda as a country and really enjoyed the enthusiasm from everyone I met. The wildlife spotting was fabulous and all the accommodation and food were excellent. Our tour guide was very passionate about the wildlife and scenery and all transportation was well planned.

The country is visual diverse and stunning in a number of ways. The size of Uganda ensures that you can cover a lot in a short time period if necessary. The wildlife is, again, highly diverse and although it may not have the grandiose of Kenya and Tanzania it is certainly impressive in its own right.
