Well, from the 1st until the the last day our Super guide Kiiza as well as the nicest ever manager Geoffrey from Kashari Resort Tours and Travel, did all possible and impossible to make our trip to Uganda unforgettable. Geoffrey well arranged our 9 days tour in order to see all main spots in Uganda according with great accommodations, while Kiiza, with whom we spent 24/9 and learned so much about Uganda, nice, smile and kindest person. Gorillas , Chimpanzee, animals, lakes you will see anyhow but to spend 9 days in row with such a nice person, like Kiiza, who did above and beyond in order make your trip interesting and unforgettable, this is what really counts! Thank you so much!

Once in a lifetime experience

It was my first time in Africa. My brother and I (30 and 32) spent in Uganda 10 day. Uganda is simply a beautiful country and I can really recommend it to everyone! The people of Uganda are very friendly and I always felt safe.

We booked a tour of 10 days and we saw a lot of parks and all animals we wanted to see.

I would describe the „USP“ of Uganda as follow: It is the combination of different geographical areas that makes Uganda so diverse and beautiful. You have the safaris with the "big fives" animals, the rainforests mountains with the gorillas and Lake Victoria.

Highlight of our trip: to see the Chimpanzees and gorillas from very(!) close

Going to Uganda to see the gorillas and chimpanzees was not easy, but the experience was super good. To protect this rare species, the Uganda National Park has invested enormous resources both to allow visitors to interact with them and to protect them well. It feels like a tourist destination worth a lifetime.

Amazing Country

Over all the trip was great. I saw a lot of the country and a lot of birds and animals. The places we stayed were great and the staff at the different locations were all friendly and very helpful. The Gorilla trekking was difficult but amazing and very worth it!!! Trekking to see the Chimpanzees and the Golden Monkeys were also amazing.

I was surprised at the beautiful countryside and the variety of different wildlife in Uganda. From the Rhino Reserve, to Murchison Falls National Park, to Queen Elizabeth National Park the sightings were amazing. Definitely do the off-road experience in Queen Elizabeth State Park otherwise the lions and leopards are far away.

Bwindi with the Gorillas was a once in a life time experience. If you're not in shape, take the easy hike! The medium hike was 2.5 hours up and down in the steep forest- hire porter as they are a life saver. The hike out was another 2 hours straight up!

I really enjoyed the walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. It was pretty amazing to walk with the giraffe, the zebra, and the other animals. If you like safaris, Uganda is a must!

The only negative on my trip was two blown tires on our van. To me this was a safety issue and vehicles should be thoroughly check out before going on the road. Also- there was not a lug wrench in the vehicle to change the tire. Big oversight!

we went there Kajie Safaris for a 10 day wildlife safari-- a locally run outfit. they made arrangements for the entire trip -- from the hotel the night we arrived right until we left.

we had a group of 9 people, divided into 4 groups. they picked each group up at the airport and dropped them to the hotel they were staying at that first night (before the safari officially began).

we visited the major parks, sat with the Gorillas and had a chimp and rhino trek. all were amazingly beautiful. we were able to hike along with the Giraffes, we were ~6 feet from the Gorillas (you need a special visa for the Gorillas and it you may need to buy them a year or more in advance - our tour operator took care of this for us). additionally, we were able to see (close up) the tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, countlesss zebra and antelope, warthogs (a favorite), hippos, water buffalo, and more. not really birders, but there were many, many different types.

all the accommodations (lodges) were extremely nice -- I would guess 4 star if compared to a hotel -- all of our meals were arranged for us --

we felt safe and welcomed everywhere we went. 10 days was barely enough to see everything - -it did involve alot of miles on the road, but this went by surprisingly fast as there was always something to look at out the window.

the USD goes far there, but you are better having Ugandan shillings to pay for things.

cannot recommend this trip enough - - seeing a Gorilla family so close is an unbelievable experience, almost surreal - huge, but gentle.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Gorillas at Biwindi NP. People were extremely friendly, the vegetation was great, Rainforest mainly at this area. We booked with https://www.epicugandavacation.com/ and travelled with Godwin, who took care of us marvelously. We will come back for another visit to Uganda, to see more of the country and the friendly people.

I used S2G Tours and Travels for a wonderful 8 day tour of Uganda. Included were: white rhino sanctuary, chimp tracking, Murchison Falls and Kidepo. I stayed in a nice mix of tented camps, lodges and hotels. Uganda has an enormous variety of human cultures, scenery and wildlife habitats, so it is "efficient" to pack in a lot in a short time span. Everyone's experience will be different, but I have spent significant time in 14 other African countries (as well as 2 previous visits to Uganda) and my personal experience is that the Ugandans that I have met are the friendliest people in Africa. S2G Tours handled all of my bookings and transport and it all worked near flawlessly. I stayed an additional day in Entebbe and I completely avoided Kampala (I think good choices). Ultimately, would I do it again myself or recommend this to family + friends: Yes!

We(end 50) had a wonderful 9 day privat safari with tubale safaris . The landscape varied between mountains , savanna and bushland. We were able to see all the big 5 , lot of monkeys , crocodiles, hippos ,giraffes , warthogs and antilopes ,zebras and a lot of nice birds. The top experience was the gorilla tracking at Bwindi NP. We will always remember that hour so close to a group of beautiful gorillas. The chimp tracking was amazing as well. On our trip we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable . Everyone who is looking for an unbelievable african experience , go to Uganda.
Our trip was well organized by Tubale Safaris. We would recommend this tour operator very much.

Great tour filled with unforgetable moments. Doing the 3 day gorilla trekking means that you will spend a lot of time in a car getting to and back from Bwindi National Park (road conditions in Uganda are unpredictable), but both the gorilla trekking itself as well as the visit to Lake Bunyonyi more than make up for the travel time. Highly recommended!
