Put this on your bucket list, WOW.

Just wow. We loved this entire country and their people, what lovely, helpful, humble people. We felt safe everywhere we went (walking everywhere) and enjoyed everything from their sit down restaurants to the local food, rolex. There were offers of rides on motorcycles from locals looking for work, hellos from beautiful children and wooden canoes to take across the Victoria lake, or you could catch the ferry boat and see the locals transporting anything from live chickens to anything they could grow. We took a small plane ride from Entebbe to the gorilla areas and it was also amazing and safe. Our stay in the park, dead center in the forest was just beautiful. The movie "Gorillas in the mist". came to mind every morning, an entire new beauty for us. The gorilla "hunt" (find) was long (6 hours) and as it had poured rain the night before, we sloshed in mud past our ankles towards the end of the hike. Walking through the brush also got difficult near the end of our find.
Read more But, wow-was it ever worth it. What an amazing experience coming within feet of these beautiful creatures. We watched two littles wrestling, and an annoyed mother scold them, as one took off and the other seemed to be in time out. When we returned, our hotel staff was waiting for us with refreshing juice and clean slippers as they removed our shoes, which we later found as clean as new in our room; they never even asked who we were or which room was ours. My advice...GO. Oh, and we are 67 and 70 years old. We were exhausted, but we kept up just fine.

A superb mini safari with Gatsio Safaris to Murchison Falls which included a Nile Cruise and visit to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
Not very crowded and a wonderful array of wildlife in the park. Beautiful Lodge at Pakuba Safari Lodge

Amazing opportunity to see gorillas in their natural habitat

This was an amazing experience. From Murchison Falls, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the equator twice, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, to Lake Mburo, this trip did not disappoint. Chimpanzee, gorilla and golden monkey trekking were the highlights for me. Being a solo traverler, Naseeb Safaris Uganda planned an incredible trip within my timeframe and budget. I had a terrific guide for the entire journey. I saw some amazing wildlife, incredible landscapes and had mostly great weather, give or take a rain shower or two. Uganda is the ultimate destination for gorilla trekking.

Our safari included the chimpanzee trek in the Kibale National Forest, the savannahs in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, and the gorilla trek in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. We were so fortunate to see many, many animals; we had exceptional guides; wonderful lodgings and truly amazing experiences. The boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel was a lesson in how many species of animals can live in peaceful co-existence along with people, in the same small area of land and sea. Uganda is a stunningly beautiful country with warm and welcoming people. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, professional, went out of their way to enhance our experiences and kept us safe in every way. Thank you to Wayfairer, our travel agent and Wild Frontiers, our tour guides. Exceptional and highly recommended!

Food was great, people are really friendly, no one tries to rip you off, super safe, thousand times safer than Southeast Asia or Central America. Will definitely be revisiting.

We had a great time in Kampala visiting the city during a walking tour. The colorful markets full of fresh fruits are delightful. We visited the great Mosque and had a great point of view on the whole city. We enjoyed day in Entebbe, spending some time on Coco Beach, a small tour on lake Victoria and a visit to the botanical garden.
And of course we were amazed by the 3 day safari in Murchison Falls national Park . We had the opportunity to meet the Big Five plus girafes, monkeys, antilopes, crocodiles and lots of beautiful birds. We had a great experience with Moroka expeditions, very professional guides who understood perfectly our needs as a large family.
Communication was very easy with all Ugandans.

I did a 4 day tour with Lulu Safaris Uganda. My guides were Sarah and Gary-Simon, who were both outstanding and great company. The tour was all that I could have asked for and more. The accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The food was large portions, fresh and delicious. The highlight of the trip was trekking in Bwindi national park to see mountain gorillas. Only complaint is that 4 days is too short and I would recommend staying at least a week.

My road trip to Southern Uganda was incredibly amazing. Indeed Uganda is a pearl of Africa trip to southern Uganda was a source of attraction, we passed through Queen Elizabeth national park and spotted herds of buffaloes crossing the road, elephants, zebra, hippo walking on road not to mention but a few
We saw the tidy hillsides which provide a beauty of contrasting landscapes
What we won't forget is the Africas deepest lake, Lake Bunyonyi enclosed by mountains which is great scenery. It was named Lake Bunyonyi because of the very many small birds that inhabit the lake. Relaxing at the lake with cool breeze and the hospitable farmers around the islands of Lake Bunyonyi keeps the place always busy. We enjoyed canoe riding and spotted very many species of birds. A safari to this part of Uganda is ever on my mind am planning to come back again. I won't forget to mention Twaha lukwago our tour operator who mindfully organised this fantastic memorable trip with alot of professionalism.
