My trio was spectacular, we hot to see plenty of wildlife and enjoy the nature.
The only downside was the hotels offered, i chose a middle budget safari and however the hotels werent dirty or anything, they werent super clean. Also they offered me on my quotation different hotels to the ones that i end up sleeping into.
The food was ok.
If you get the chance to do the hot air balloon ride, do it. You wont regret it at all. It was by far on of my highlights.
The people were also friendly and i felt safe in the country most of the time as female solo traveler.

Best memories organised a super holiday with a 15 day safari and 6 days on the coast. Everything was very good in all of the parks even the medium level ones. Food was good and the people very friendly. Anthony was an excellent driver/guide and we literally saw everything from the big and and ugly five to kills and elephants mating.

We made a beautiful trip across several parks from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo East and we finish with a few days in Watamu.
We really enjoyed the parks, maybe we found Tsavo less interesting at the end, we had very long hours trasnferring from one site to the other, but the scenery was always entertaining. We were able to see all kind of animals also thanks to our guide Daniel (Beacon Safari).
We also enjoyed our time in Watamu even if the presence of the beach boys can result a little annoying, always coming after you without leaving.

We could not have asked for a better experience than what we had during our Safari with Spirit of Kenya. Wonderful lodges, excellent services, with wonderful meals on-board.
Kenya is definitely one of those places, specially the savannah, the actual beauty of which you cannot capture through your camera lens no matter what you do. It settles deep into your soul in ways you cannot imagine. You lose track of time, and you lose your connection with this artificial world. You only exist in the wild, alongside your oldest pals and get a good whiff of how far humans have strayed away from what they were supposed to be.
Safety however is an issue outside the parks/resorts and the government should work upon providing a smooth law and order for tourists who pay a hefty amount for their experiences in Kenya. We, along with 100s of other tourists, got hijacked by a bunch of local protesters on our way from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru. We missed our evening game drive

that day because we stood still in that hijacked patch for more than 4 hours. It was a tense situation as we had kids along and we were scared that things may go south during the protest as no government official or anyone from tourism board came to rescue any of us from the situation.
These kinds of experiences within the country create a distaste for an otherwise beautiful experience.
Nevertheless, our trip to Kenya was fantastic and it was nothing less than a wonderful surprise for all of us. The weather, the hospitality inside the resorts and lodges was excellent.
We wish to visit Kenya in the future too.

This trip was higher than what we expected. Our guide Samuel has amazing skill for seeking out wild animals. We saw adult male, pride, cheetah, leopard... too numerous to count. The special thing is we have seen the crossing of mara river under our guide's incredible knowledge / experience and drive skill.
The travel was perfect, happiness throughout the entire journey. Say thank you, Samuel!

Best safari vacation ever during September dry season with Lion Rider Safaris and guide Mule Johnson made it exceptional. No bugs, great food, great facilities, huge number of animals. We did Mara Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli National Park, and Crescent Island. All great and different. Included tour of Masai village by king’s son and danced with them.

Experienced many good surprises in Kenya. First, the Kenyan people are so wonderful…kind, gentle, civil, appreciative. Every American should be required to visit to learn how to treat others! Second, the animals….seeing in their natural habitats…amazing beauty. Third, the food…fresh and unprocessed, so delish!! We always felt safe.

Kenya is wild, free and beautiful. Hakuna Matata is taken seriously and the people we came across were all so kind and, helpful and cheerful. What a wonderful experience with Karibu Safaris! We will book with them again and we will be back soon!!
