Unique and stunning place!

My partner and I visited Kenya for the first time and went to Masai Mara two nights, Amboseli one night and another night at Lake Nakuru.
We absolutely loved all of them but the favourite is for sure Masai Mara where we managed to see all the big five in a very short time, including Cheetah and leopard.
Lake Nakuru is much smaller but the landscape was stunning and of course, is the house of Rhinos.
Amboseli,if you love elephants like we do, it’s a paradise. It’s plenty of them, as well as monkeys, giraffes and many mores.
People are extremely welcoming and great positive vides.

Incredible beauty of nature

The warm and welcoming service from start to finish even made up for a mishap by the tour operator. We had a fantastic time in Kenya. The Masai Mara was beautiful, and the sheer abundance of nature and wildlife was simply indescribable. Amboseli National Park, with its location at the foot of Kilimanjaro, is breathtaking from every angle. Here, too, the sheer number of elephants and rhinos, in particular, captivated us.

Our driver, Patrick, kept us well-informed and provided us with everything we needed.

What a great country to visit. Lovely people, beautiful scenery once outside the big cities, and wall to wall wildlife. A true bucket list destination.

Massai Mara, Lake Navashi and Lake Nakuru were great. Hells Gate was less impressive and somehow ommissible.

Animal and birdwathers paradise

We did the Masai Mara and Lake Nakura safaris and were extremely happy with both. Mara mostly for the animals and Nakuru for birds. Our guide, Jeff, was great and looked after us and through him we saw every animal we could think of including and amazing sight of a Leopard descending from a tree just before sunset. Nakuru was brilliant for birds but also animals, although not big cats on our trip there but we did see rhinos. We shared the trip with others but everyone was super nice and we all got on. Definitely one of the highlights of my life!

Everything was arranged by Xavier who was very good at listening to what we were looking for and giving suggestions. He also arranged all the accomodation which was very good.

6 out of 5 stars - amazing trip!

We were picked up at our hotel by Ernest right on time and started the drive to Amboseli. We had a short stop at a souvenir shop where it was also possible to go to the washroom. We arrived at Sopa Lodge for lunch and after lunch we went for a gamedrive before coming back again for dinner.

Sopa Lodge is a really nice Lodge, food was really great and staff was all very welcoming and kind. A special thanks to Papa who gave us the history of Hemmingways.

From pickup to dropoff Ernest was amazing. The drive to and from Amboseli was safe and efficient and the gamedrives were magical thanks to Ernest’s great driving and knowledge about the animals. Ernest knew everything there’s is to know and not even a bird was left out, which we loved! Ernest was welcoming and definitely a big part of why our trip to Amboseli was as amazing as it was! Thank you!

Would HIGHLY recommend to book your safari to Amboseli with Ernest!

We only saw a small portion but really liked what we did see

We visited 2 areas after crossing in from Tanzania at the Namanga border - Amboseli and Nairobi. Amboseli was spectacular. So very dry but this added to the vibe and feeling, particularly at sunset where we watched elephant herds walking towards Kilimanjaro for the night. After a night here we proceeded to Nairobi and took a great driving tour of the city center and then visited Nairobi National Park where we had spectacular up close views of rhinos and lions. The Giraffe Center to see and feed the Rothchild Giraffes was also very worthwhile.

The Maasai Mara was as Advertised!

We visited the Maasai for three nights. We stayed at the Mara Engai Lodge. It is a tented lodge with about 24 tents. The lodge itself and everybody that work there was great! The temp was very spacious and had everything we needed.

We went on two full day safaris and a half day safari during our time at the Maasai Mara. Our guide, Lewice, was fantastic and we saw all of the big five animals. He was very willing to wait until we got our full fill of viewing of each animal. He also had a lot of information about the animals and the flora and Fana of the area. I’m a Sara was very beautiful and the safari were very relaxing. We enjoyed our time there.
