Safari was great! I am glad I did this in the low season! The lodge I stayed in was disapointing, very old, no real place to sit down, shaggy restaurant m

We enjoyed our 2 day Safari in Tsavo East. Our driver did an excellent job finding the interesting locations from which we observed wild life
Highly recommended

Amboseli Wildlife Park

We were very pleased with the support we received from Esther of Cherish Safaris Kenya when making our booking for the three day, two night safari to Amboseli National Park. Francis met us as arranged at the Namunga Border crossing (between Kenya and Tanzania) and then drove us through the Park for a couple of hours wildlife viewing.
There were eight of us and the one Toyota safari vehicle was cramped, and we should have booked two vehicles and drivers.
The Sopa lodge in Amboseli was great, the rooms were comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful and the choice and quality of food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner were excellent, as were the facilities such as the pool, the massage spa, the Hemingway bar and indoor and outdoor bar areas, and gardens.
We had been travelling by road in Southern and Eastern African countries for four weeks and had already been to a number of large wildlife parks, and I’d suggest the wildlife viewing in Amboseli was much
Read more sparser than in Tanzania, and the Serengeti and I think we would have been happier had we travelled further North in Kenya to the Masai Mara National Park. Maybe next time.
The Amboseli NP suited our travel arrangements as we had four days to fill in between leaving the Rift valley in Tanzania and flying from Nairobi to Mauritius. We had already been spoilt for Wildlife and so for our needs the Cherish Safari was perfect.
After leaving Amboseli, Esther had booked us a night’s accommodation in the Panafric Hotel in Nairobi which was perfect for our last night before leaving Kenya Thank you Esther and Francis.

Between the vast savannas teeming with African wildlife and the vibrant energy of Nairobi, this journey through Kenya was a truly memorable experience. From the thrill of the safari to the urban discoveries of the capital, this trip beautifully blended breathtaking nature with rich cultural encounters.
I was deeply touched by the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality throughout the different parks. Having an experienced and dedicated guide and driver available at all times made every moment seamless and special.
A heartfelt thank you to Chris for making this adventure truly unforgettable.

Amboseli was great. Nairobi not so much

Loved it at Amboseli, even outside the national park there were plenty of animals and Kilimanjaro was amazing too see. Nairobi is a busy city…not our vibe but a necessary stop on the way

We had a great time on safari, seeing everything I hoped for with the exception of leopards. Our guide John was super and very knowledgeable. The accommodation and food were perfect. Only slight downside was the time taken to travel between locations, particularly from Nakuru to Ambesoli, but that can't really be helped.

Our trip to Kenya lasted 15 days. A 7-day safari through the Masai Mara reserve, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha (Crescent Island), and Amboseli reserve. A magnificent experience that exceeded our expectations. We spent 3 days visiting Nairobi, including the giraffe center, the home of Karen Blexin (author of *Memoirs of Africa*), and the Kazuri Handicraft Center. We finished with 5 days on Diani Beach.

Kenya is the most suitable for safari

We only did a 4d/3n budget safari to masai mara np, lake nakuru.
I suggest it's the easiest and nicest safari in Africa. It's very popular that means you can find value for money agents, you easily see the big 5 , landscape is characterized by Africa bushes and trees.
Flamingo in lake nakuru very few and nothing special. Lake naivasha boat trip not worthy, just enjoy the view of the lake drinking tea and watching the animals.
