So vast you barely cover a fraction of it. Plenty of amazing Giraffes, Buffalo etc. Preferred the private reserves as you could go off road within 2 metres of elephants and lions with a fresh kill. Still a great day. Bring binoculars! Wish I'd bought some

Kruger National Park has it all, the wildlife, the lodges and gift shops, the restaurants, it's the go-to National Park for anyone who wants to go on an African Safari, and it's not hard to see why. I'd love to go again someday.

Kruger is way too big for encountering wild animals

The Kruger National Park is incredibly vast, which can make wildlife spotting more challenging. A better option, in my experience, is visiting private game parks. These parks are smaller, and the staff typically have a deeper understanding of the animals’ locations, making it easier to see them up close and enjoy more intimate encounters.

One thing I didn’t enjoy about Kruger was the extensive burned areas. I was informed that the vegetation is intentionally burned to increase animal visibility for tourists, but it felt unnatural and detracted from the experience. Additionally, because of the park's massive size, tour guides often seem rushed, giving you less time to take photographs and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.

The Kruger National Park is a vast area where a lot depends on luck. This should not be underestimated. It's not a private game reserve but rather an extensive national park.

Saw African wild dog and saw tons of wildlife. Hence the high score. Missing both cheetah and leopard.

We did game drives in three different areas of the park. They all offered exciting drives and animal viewing. Our guides excelled at spotting both animals and birds. They also gave us information about the fern and fauna of the area.

Stayed at Green Fire and had a great time. The people were so nice. Got to interact with the owner daily and had some amazing experiences there! You can’t beat waking up from a nap to views of giraffes and elephants.
