This park was smaller than the others but was still very nice and interesting.

Lake Manyara Park is a stunning place: it looks more like an asian jungle than an african forest. The trees are full of monkeys. Elephants emerge from the thick forest, breaking trees. Over the years, the lake has expanded, incorporating the dying trees from the banks, forming a spectacular petrified forest that emerges from the waters, a truly evocative sight.

We saw some very unique things and enjoyed it. But the park has suffered extensive flooding over the past ~5 years making it tough to see animals.

The dense vegetation makes it difficult to spot many animals. After visiting the other parks, this is definitely the one we would recommend skipping.

Didn't see so many animals. Went on a walking safari and saw almost nothing - but it was good to get out of the vehicle and walk in the bush

Completely different atmosphere in this park with animals we didn’t see anywhere else due to the lake. Monitor lizards and snakes, water birds etc. birds were a highlight in this park. The rangers were burning so the smoke was a little much but added to the mystery of the adventure of what’s next
