The climate in Nosy Mangabe Special Reserve is wet and humid. The best weather conditions are from August to November, also making it the best time for hiking. From July to the end of September is a special time as this is when humpback whales come to Antongil Bay to breed. Reptiles are most active and colorful from September to February, and lemurs have babies around October and November.
