Excellent safari to Kafue NP with Daniel from Zamsato
5/5

I booked a 4-night camping safari to Kafue NP through Zamsato starting in Livingstone and ending in Lusaka. Daniel, the owner of Zamsato tours, was also my driver and guide during the safari tour.
It was very easy to communicate with him through emails before the tour to discuss all details of the tour. During the tour he was an excellent guide who knew a lot about flora and fauna of the park so I was able to learn a lot about the nature in this part of the world. Additionaly, he is also a great cook - as I booked a camping tour we prepared our own meals in the camps, from scratch and with fresh ingredients. It was a great experience sleeping in a tent and listening to the voices of nocturnal Africa. I would definitely recommend Zamsato and I also plan to book them again when I am back to Zambia.

Family in the Bush
5/5

This was the highlight of our Zambia Safari The wildlife sightings in the park were spectacular. We came to Zambia to see Leapords and we were not disappointed. The accomadations were cozy and the food was phenomenal. The owners victoria and David were gracious and a pleasure to know. Dinners were spent with the hosts and we had a feeling of being with family. What they have given back to the local community is commendable. It is always uplifting to br with people of high character. The guides were knowledgable and a pleasure to be with.

The time at camp is unforgetable and I hope to return sooner than later. This was a memory I will cherish.

Experienced and Professional local tour operator in Zambia
5/5

Daniel put together an extremely well organized tour which exactly met our requirements. He has obviously built up a network of experienced, reliable and friendly contacts to support him. Highlight of our trip was canoeing down the lower Zambesi - getting up close to the crocs, hippos and elephants.

Simply magical
5/5

Well organised, friendly staff, really affordable prices and worth every penny!

Two weeks in Zambia
4/5

Daniel can spot a brown-hooded kingfisher from a mile away and then describe its exact location so you can see it, too. In addition to his encyclopedic knowledge about Zambia’s biodiversity, he is well-versed in the politics surrounding and research and conservation efforts happening in the national parks. Whether he is explaining how wildebeests host fly larvae in their brains or buying you monkey oranges from a family on the side of the road or looking up the latest news on a court case regarding illegal deforestation in Kasanka National Park, Daniel’s love for wildlife and his adopted country comes through.

Logistics were excellent – Daniel replied to emails promptly before the trip, made great recommendations for a customized safari, kept me well fed per my vegetarian diet, and responded to some unexpected vehicle troubles like a pro.
