Helpful
All in all I had a great experience and there were no big problems. Especially the staff from Serengeti African Tours was extremely helpful and quick to help.
Since when I went there there were not enough people for my safari we were mixed with people who booked from other companies. We were sent with suricata. the cooks were really nice and the food was great.
My one problem was the guide who didn't ask at all what we wanted to see and he didn't talk much. I would've loved if he asked what we wanted to see to actually show us and avoid staying with animals we had already seen very often for 15 minutes.
I would've also liked him to explain more, because he was kinda quiet and not as knowledgeable as I would've hoped. The other people thought he talked enough but I really wanted to gain new insights and new information, which I only sometimes got when explicitly asking specific questions.

The best Safarii !!
The e-mail communication before the trip was comprehensive and extremely professional. We were offered a trip that was perfectly tailored to our needs. We chose a four-day Safari. We flew to Arushi from Zanzibar and were picked up by the office staff. The staff informed us about the itinerary and safety during the trip. Our guide and cook were completely professional. Thanks to their great experience, we started every day on time, so we were able to see much more than other groups. The meals cooked by our cook were large and varied, considering the difficult conditions of the trip. Thanks to the experience of the guide/driver, we were able to meet the "big five" as well as other species of animals. We spent two nights in tents, one in the hotel. Cold drinks were available during the trip, water, cola, beer. After the trip, Linah from the administration visited us to talk to us directly about our experience and possible points of criticism for improvement. In summary, we returned very happy with the trip and I am happy to recommend the office.

Amazing tour, fantastic route and excellent staff!!
This tour is amazing and the team is excellent! From the start our operator Linah was amazing, she planned our dream honeymoon adventure. Her communication was fantastic, she was fast with her replies, polite and provided great details with her answers. Which made the whole booking experience with her so easy she felt like family. She was so helpful and planned our dream holiday, with such good detail from start to finish. She even went above and beyond when another supplier let us down by being so helpful and sharing her knowledge and kindness! This experience with her and Serengeti African Tours has been unforgettable, she is so kind and we could not of asked for a better operator. She is a one in a million. Thank you so much, you are the best and made our dream happen!!
The accommodation was fantastic! Each place on the tour was gorgeous and the little touches both her and Kelvin (our driver) added made the experience even more special. Each place had a luxury feel, great staff, offered stunning views and food. The tour was well organised and everything was thought through with good detail.
The tour offered a fantastic range in the different parks over the 4 days, which was fabulous. Our driver Kelvin was so kind and pleasant to be around. He ensured the tour ran on time and had excellent knowledge of the park and animals. He made sure we really enjoyed the experience and I can say we were lucky enough to see all the animals. The food was delicious there was a lovely variety of cooked vegetables, meats, pasta over the days and our chef Richard made sure we were well fed throughout the safari. Thank you Richard!
The car was comfortable and well equipped with charging points so you never missed a moment because your camera or phones battery was dead. We also had plenty of water, and drinks to drinks during the day.
If you are looking for a well planned, adventure with supportive staff, then this is the tour for you. This team care about you and will provide you an experience you will never forget!!!

7 day memorable private tour
Absolutely fabulous!!! I’ve given it 5 stars but would give 10 if I could!!! This has been incredible from the moment of booking to the end. Inviolata was so helpful when I was booking and answered all my questions, met us the evening of our arrival for a briefing and made us feel so welcome.
Our guide, Dixon, was amazing. He was so knowledge about the animals and birds and had a sixth sense for finding animals that we wanted to see. He was so patient with us, taking the time to make sure we saw the most amazing sites.
Serengeti African Tours deserves to be rated Safari company of the year as I can’t imagine another company delivering the level of service they have. Dixon definitely deserves guide of the year as he was just incredible.
My husband is 70 and I’m 62. If you are retired and concerned about an adventure like this, don’t be! Book with this company, I can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Amazing Safari experience
We recently visited Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater with Serengeti African Tours. The tour operator Linah was very helpful from day one in organizing our trip, accommodations and transportations. She was always very prompt in responding to any queries we had. She always kept checking if everything was fine in between the tour. And was open to help us in case of last minute unexpected changes.
Our tour guide Kelvin was very knowledgeable, friendly and he made sure we could site all the wildlife possible in the given time frame very safely. Even when he was tired driving for long hours on the bumpy terrain, he wouldn’t mind taking us to spots when he knew, even if it was far away to see a rare animal sighting. We would definetly recommend both our tour operator and our guide again to all our friends and family travelling to Serengeti. Thank u so much once again for giving us this memorable experience.

The safari is an incredible experience. There is long hours on a very very bumpy path, however with an expert driver like Peter Jorrojick, the journey is exciting as he is very knowledgeable about every animal and its environment. Peter was able to spot animals from a I couldn’t see without binoculars. It’s important to consider feeling motion sickness even when you tend to do well typically, because the road is extremely rocky for numerous hours. The picnics sites are beautiful but I definitely recommend that you pack some nutrition dense snacks because personally I had a very hard time with liking the food even tho I am not typically a picky eater at all. Plan for heat as well as cold and rainy mornings. Lodges are not for beginners as they are very exposed to the wild but the hotels are very awesome. All in all, having an experience and efficient driver like Peter with so much knowledge made this experience worth all the hard moments of motions sickness!

Makini makes you feel at home.
When I was selecting the tour operator, Go Makini stood out as being very responsive, cohesive, and accommodating. Their prices were very competitive and they made me feel comfortable enough to put down a deposit. Our guide, Peter jorrojick was absolutely excellent! From the moment we stepped into vehicle - he made us feel at home and we were confident in his ability to keep us comfortable. He has a REMARKABLE eye, spotting countless animals so much that we were baffled at his ability to do so. He is a native to the land and we loved the information + history that he provided for us. His driving was great and he made sure that we were well rested and ensured we took necessary breaks at our own pace. I have to say Peter made our trip by successfully helping us locate the Big 5 (getting INCREDIBLY close to a black rhino) and for finding rare animals like hyenas on several occasions. This was the trip of a lifetime. Also, the honeymoon details they did for us were so sweet getting my wife a bouquet of roses and a custom safari vehicle decal. 2 thumbs up!
