Definitely worth it.

The whole trip was great. From the Hotel pick up and drive to Pilanesberg and the game drive itself was also great. Martin was a great driver.

Triminate T man

We saw lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, impalas, and giraffes.

That was perfect.

Flawless Three-Country Tour Planning with Exceptional Holiday Support From Rishen
5/5

Rishen from Mo Afrika planned an incredible three-week tour for our group of 15, ages 5 to 75, across Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, including wildlife visits, safaris, city tours, airport pickups and drop-offs, and full logistical support throughout one of the busiest holiday seasons of the year.

Every detail was handled flawlessly. From hotel check-ins to transfers, tours, and daily coordination, Rishen made sure everything ran smoothly. What stood out was his constant availability over Christmas, checking in regularly to make sure we were safe, comfortable, and enjoying every part of the trip. Anytime we needed something, he was immediately responsive.

Coordinating a large, multi-generational group across three countries during peak season is no small task, and Rishen delivered perfect customer service from start to finish. I have traveled to dozens of countries with and without kids and I recommend Rishen and Mo Afrika 1000% without hesitation.

Deep Dive Into South African History

Lebu was an excellent guide. Trip was entertaining. Informative. Eye opening. I would highly recommend as a tour for a first time visitor / like ourselves / coming to Johannesburg.

Lebo was the most knowledgable and passionate guide I have ever taken a tour with
5/5

Three of us went on a Soweto tour with MoAfrika this week and it was one of the most impactful, eye-opening days exploring I have had.

Firstly, and most importantly, our guide for the day was Lebo. His passion, knowledge and attention to detail was absolutely phenomenal. I have been on many tours that felt scripted, or like we were on guardrails only being shown what the company wanted us to see. This was far from that. From the moment that Lebo picked us up his expertise shone through. He was incredibly dynamic, and quickly picked up on our own personal experiences and knowledge of Soweto and Johannesburg. This made for a robust, engaging experience. He would pick out things that he knew would be of interest and would always have rich stories and insight into the topic. He’s very charismatic and a fountain of knowledge (ironically, including on the rationale behind so many South African locations including the suffix -fontain). Thank you Lebo, it was a pleasure.

The tour itself was engaging and took us through the rich history of Johannesburg. We went to constitution hill as other museums were closed, however I understand that usually tours will visit the Apartheid Museum.

On the day we saw the museum, as well as many locations in both the formal and informal settlements in soweto. Each of them enlightening and touching.

One key thing to note as a westerner is that this was an incredibly eye-opening day. No matter how prepared I thought I was going into this, I was naive. Whilst the day was engaging and has had a positive impact on me, it was not easy. This was intense, and it has me wrestling with a lot of feelings.

We went with Mo Afrika on a half a day Pretoria tour in South Afrika on Christmas boxing day. They were very punctual and picked us up in a very clean and well looked after minivan. Lebo, our guide, was excellent. He was very polite and very knowledgeable. In the short time we spent togjether he told us much of South Afrika's history and answered all our questions. Because it was boxing day, some of the attractions in Pretoria were closed, so he and Mo Afrika compensated us by giving us a drive through Johannesburg, showing us many attractions and offering us an overview of the city's history. It was one of the best half day tours we have ever had.

This tour was truly fantastic. Our guide Lebo shared so much history with us, was kind and patient, and really did his best to make sure we were immersed in learning about SA’s fascinating history. I’d recommend to anyone interested in learning about Pretoria!

Really friendly guy that told us a lot about different hotspots. It was really fun and informative!
5/5

We payed numerous spots a visit such as the constitutional hill (and constitutional Court), the apartheid museum, the nelson Mandela House, the Hector Pietersen museum and Soweto (township). It was really fun and interesting. I also felt very safe in the township which was nice. I had an amazing day and got to see a lot the city Johannesburg has to offer.
