Mt. Kenya showcases the true beauty of Africa. The trip was a great experience and the hike itself left me breathless. Baboon Badger Safari made the experience more special. Their service is tops. We had the most incredible time with Baboon Safaris, and it’s all thanks to the truly wonderful people behind it. From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. A special mention has to go to our dear friend, leader, and guide, Martin. His warmth, endless positivity, and Hakuna Matata philosophy made every part of our journey feel magical. Martin’s deep knowledge of the land and wildlife, combined with his infectious smile, turned each safari into an unforgettable adventure. He didn’t just guide us; he shared his heart and soul with us, creating memories that will stay with us forever. We’ll miss him so much.
We’re also incredibly grateful for Tekla and Kim. Their kindness and care were evident from the moment we landed in Nairobi. They were there for us every step of the way, offering support, laughter, and making us feel so welcome. Tekla’s lively spirit and Kim’s warm heart made us feel at home, and we couldn’t have asked for more thoughtful, loving people to share this experience with.
This trip was unforgettable, not just because of Kenya’s beauty, but because of the extraordinary people of Baboon Safaris who made it feel like a dream come true. Excellent and enjoyable
Babon safari was a random pick in nairobi. My contact person was Dennis who had given me quite good rates for the day trips. I ve used their services for 4 days at several places. The drivers that was as a guide (bon and teddy) both are very nice and experienced and had made our tour enjoyable.

Amazing experience!
The safari tour was really good and fantastic! Especially with Ambrose (the driver)! He is really nice and satisfied all our requests. I really learn a lot about animals from him. I saw every thing I wanted to see and took a lot of great animals. Ambrose is the expert to find animals! I really enjoyed my whole trip!

Amazing Tour Experience!
The safari tour was really good! Especially with our driver Ambrose! He is an expert to find animals and I learn a lot of things about animals from him! He is really good! And the people here are so kind. Whenever I got something wrong, they will help me to solve it! The hotel and the camps are also good, near the park so we can got into the park very early! I really enjoyed my whole trip!

Outstanding
I originally booked through a different safari company but as a solo traveler, I guess they didn't want to provide the service so it appears they kind of "sold me off" to Baboon Budget Safaris. I'm so glad they did!
My driver was Anthony and we had another solo traveler like me on the safari. Anthony is a great driver, super knowledgeable, funny and was constantly making sure we were doing okay. We stayed at Miti Mingi Eco Camp. I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good, owner was friendly, bed was comfortable, pillows were nice, shower was hot, electricity worked fine, etc. He even let me borrow a towel because I forgot mine.
Both days with game drives were beyond words. We saw gazelles, giraffes, cheetahs, leopard, water buffalo, elephants, jackos, hyenas, elends, wildebeasts, warthogs, etc. But the true highlight came after Anthony worked his magic and we found a pride of lions. Shortly after we arrived, they made an attempt to kill a huge water buffalo! The hunt was unsuccessful but it was still a site I will never forget. We had a nice picnic in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Anthony knows everything about what we saw; the animals, plants, birds, etc. He could answer all our questions.
On the last day, we had a nice visit at a Maasai village. Also, such a wonderful experience.
I will return to Kenya again. This was my second time here already but it was my first safari experience. I want to come back again with my family. When I do, I will not even consider booking with another company. I will book with Baboon Budget Safaris and I will request that Anthony be our guide. I highly recommend this company who wants to have amazing memories of their time in the Maasai Mara.
Best Safari experience ever
Anthony and Mike were our tour guides for the 3 days Safari to Masai Mara. Excellent communication, travel and accommodation + food. Both guys really delighted us with their guidance and the almost private tour we got in the park. Beautiful days with beautiful people. I only can recommend the two and the travel agency.
