Wow. Just WOW! Very accommodating to our needs when traveling from Texas, USA, and not knowing anything at all. My husband and I were more than taken care of. Gift Tembo was amazing in the booking and receiving process and then the 2 guides we had (one was Samuel, or Samwelli and can't remember the name of the man on the 1st day) were utterly amazing. Food was spectacular. I just cant believe how well everything went for us as first-timers. I'm obsessed with Tanzania (and Africa) and dying to go back. Book with MERU SLOPES! Unbeatable prices and amazing people!!!!!

Best experience I could ever ask for!!
Had such a great time with our guide Mohamed from Meru Slopes where he gave us the best safari tour we could ever ask for! Saw more than 17 cheetah and all the major animals! Mohamed is a really experienced guide and we are so lucky to have him as our guide and would definitely love to come back to Tanzania! This company was very flexible and easy to work with. Everything extra we wanted they arranged and rolled into the planning for the safari. Our safari guide, Santaely, was absolutely incredible. As Good or better Than Promised
We chose Meru Slopes because of their incredible reviews. The comments on their guides were especially compelling. Well, Meru Slopes was everything they promised. Our guide, Muhammad, was excellent. He knew the animals and where to find them and made sure we spent enough time to appreciate their behaviors.
Our accommodations for a mid-level Safari were wonderful. We loved the tent camps and the people who staffed them. Our beds were always very comfortable and the rooms in the showers and the hot water were remarkable given that we were out in the Serengeti.
I can’t say we loved all the food, but there was always plenty of it and you had your choices. But we didn’t come here for the food.
The Safari went off flawlessly. We are very happy with our choice of Meru Slopes.

The most amazing experience ever with Meru Slopes. From start to finish, you are truly taken great care of. They guide you through everything and make your dreams come true! Compliments to our amazing guide Samuel. We laughed a lot and had such a wonderful time together! He also knew exactly the best spots to experience everything up close in a really fun way! Once in a lifetime experience
This 3-day safari in Tanzania was an absolutely unique and unforgettable experience. In just three days, we visited Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, plus many more animals such as giraffes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, and countless birds – all in the wild.
A special mention goes to our guide Robert. With over 12 years of experience, he has an incredible instinct for spotting wildlife and showed us many animals and moments we would have completely missed otherwise. We were especially lucky to have a private tour for the first two days, which truly elevated the entire experience.
Everything was perfectly organized – hotel pick-up and drop-off were included, making the trip completely stress-free. The camp stay was very pleasant, the food was excellent, and the chef Dula was incredibly kind and took great care of us.
Excellent value for money, very well organized, and an experience we would highly recommend. We would do it again anytime!

Great Safari experience with Meru Slopes
Our 5–6 day safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris was a very nice experience.
The planning was handled by Leonard Mkwavi, who was helpful and flexible in adjusting the trip to fit our needs and budget. Communication was easy, and everything was well arranged.
We visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater, and all of them were amazing in their own way.
Our hotels and camps were comfortable, and the food was good. Our driver and guide, Max Ayo, was experienced, drove safely, and knew the parks very well. During the first two days we already saw many animals. He shared interesting information and managed the timing well, including park visits and lunches.
From planning to accommodations, food, park visits, and flight arrangements from Zanzibar, everything went smoothly until the end. My boyfriend and I were happy with the overall safari experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Honeymoon Safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris
We had an incredible 9 days / 8 nights private safari with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris, and the experience exceeded all our expectations.
Our guide, Nuru, was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, he respected our preferences and showed deep respect for wildlife. He has extensive knowledge of animals and their behavior, and his ability to find wildlife was truly impressive. You can genuinely feel that he loves animals and enjoys his work, which made every game drive meaningful and exciting.
Nuru was also very considerate and caring throughout the trip. He always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well-rested. We never had to worry about anything — we could simply relax and fully enjoy the safari experience.
In addition to his professionalism, Nuru was warm and friendly, and he happily shared stories about his daily life with us, which made the journey feel very personal and enjoyable.
This safari was our honeymoon, and it turned out to be the happiest and most unforgettable trip we could have imagined. We are deeply grateful to Nuru for taking such wonderful care of us throughout the entire journey.
